[CLOSED] HELP Mi8 se - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

Hello there,
A very bad thing happened to me unintentionally. I request your help in this matter.
I think I made two mistakes while flashing the rom on my Mi 8 SE phone. My 1st mistake was throwing chinese rom. My second mistake is that the phone locked the bootloader while flashing.
Now the phone turns on but there is no network. I cannot unlock the Bootloader because there is no mobile network. Because when I say unlock bootloader from developer options, it asks me to turn off wifi and connect with mobile. But I can't use mobile data because there is no network. I thought I'd assign a modem file, because the bootloader is unlocked, I can't install twrp with fastboot either. I look forward to your immediate opinion on this matter. Thank you.

[Q] xt910 downgrade

Hi xdadevelpers team unfortunately i have installed an unoficial rom for my device from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069935 it works very good and no thing wrong with it but i have to send my phone to the Authorized agent here in egypt because of a problem at the sim card place in the phone so i need to get back to the official kernal which is ics is there any way to do this please help me
have you noticed, that this is the Razr HD section ?
And yes. MOAR fonts
Though you are indeed in the wrong forum, i'll help you out
There are 2 possibilities:
1. Your bootloader is unlocked:
Grab the appropriate Stock FW here: XT910 Stock Firmwares
And flash your phone according to this guide: http://www.andromods.com/tips-trick/how-to-restore-unroot-droid-razr-m-xt907-stock-original-firmware.html
Though the guide is for the xt907, it'll also work for xt910. As long as your BL is unlocked...
2. Your bootloader is locked and you're on safestrap:

And above all: Next time post your question here: Droid RAZR Q&A

What do you mean by saved cid? Is your phone carrier locked? Or what are you trying to say? You should pick a stock fw, which is at least your country/region better also from your carrier. It may also not be available at the site i mentioned.
If it is not available you could try and make a request. See the op of this thread
There is no such thing as an "unlocked bootloader" XT910 nor any other OMAP chipset Motorola device unless it is an engineering model with an NS bootloader.
There is no OEM unlock available for those devices and there never will be as the bootloader was never designed to be unlocked.
Motorola themselves have stated as much publicly.
This person has wiped their CID. partition in order to successfully flash a firmware from a different region onto his device.
He should seek advice in the proper forum fro those who have experience with this type of cross flashing issue.
It is precisely as a result of the locked bootloader status of these devices that these kinds of issues arise when users attempt to update their device with firmware not intended for their specific hardware or regional configuration.
Uh thanks for the heads up, wasn't aware of that. I assumed that motorola devices would be all similiar with this.

Wrong kind of unlock. That is SIM unlock so you can use your Verizon phone on another carrier. Completely different than unlocking the bootloader so you can downgrade and/or flash custom ROMs. One has absolutely nothing to do with and absolutely no effect on the other.

[Completed] How to discover if a Samsung phone has a locked or unlocked bootloader

Hi. I'm trying to find out the simplest way of discovering if a particular Samsung phone has a locked bootloader without attempting to flash a custom kernel and seeing if it's successful. It's a Galaxy S7 Edge. I was going to use the fastboot oem device-info command in bootloader mode, but I can't for the life of me get the fastboot command to see the device, despite the fact it sees my other phones and devices. I have the latest Samsung drivers installed.
Can anyone help? I don't want to return the phone to Vodafone UK, but I refuse to keep a device for this much money that can't be rooted. I was wondering if anyone was aware of an application that will indicate one way or another.
Just to say, I've already got a thread in the S7 Edge forum, but no one has been able to help.

Greetings,
Had you read the stickies, you would have seen that XDA Assist is not a help desk. This forum is for new members that need help navigating the site. We direct users to the proper forum or to a place where their questions may get answered. Since you have already asked in the proper forum, I suggest you wait for a reply there.
Thank you.

ATT Radiant Core Max 5G Stock Rom needed; device has been bricked

if this is the wrong place to make a request, let me know and please direct me to the appropriate forum. I don't think my device is listed anywhere since it is an AT&T device. I made the stupid mistake of modding my phone without making a backup. I underestimated the damage unlocking the bootloader would do to my device. I receive the red message "Your device has been corrupted and cannot be trusted". Relocking the bootloader does not change the situation. I cannot access recovery mode. I can only access bootrom and fast boot modes. I cannot delete the data partition through fastboot. If anyone can point me to a stock rom, give me a scatter rom or give me a stock rom they happen to have, I would be greatly thankful.

Have you tried the att website for firmwares? You should be able to flash the earliest version of the rom you were using, incremental shouldn't matter..
The cannot be trusted bit must be either an att lock of some sort or enterprise mode. I suspect you have to apply for the OEM lock to be removed and wait for confirmation before you can root?

[CLOSED] How do i re-unlock my bootloader? Xiaomi redmi note 7 [lavender]

Hello everyone!
I have unlocked my bootloader a few years ago and installed lineageOS since.
Now i came across a thread about another OS i wanted to install, instructions saying that i should update my firmware, i did that and it seems this has locked my bootlaoder again.
I think this also has caused trouble in my banking app, because it keeps saying my device is rooted even though its not. I have uninstalled magisk. Before that i never had any problems with the app on customROM.
Is there any way i can make this undone or unlock it again without data loss? I am currently using customfox Recovery if this is any relevant.
Thanks ahead
