Hi. I would like to know if there is a chance that a ROM with a resurrection remix will appear? There are no hints on the official website yet about the build with vayu + the latest version of Android 10, when MIUI is already running on version 11
I forecast the chances are low. If after so many months the ROM hasn't been hitherto released yet, I don't thing it's gonna be released anytime soon!
I won't hide that I'm new to this. I installed the latest version of lineageOS and tried to change SystemUI from the RR build, but the interface does not start with this error. I can't guess where "com.android.systemui.keyguard.KeyguardSliceProvider" comes from. Does it even make sense to try further?

Dear All,
I would like to know when we will get MIUI 7 Custom ROM based on 5.1.1, as we have already 2 "Official Custom ROMs":
1- Cyanogen 12.1 ROM.
2- PA ROM.
I hope from the developers to contribute to build this nice MIUI 7 ROM based on 5.1.1 .
Thanks.
Best Regards,
Mulham Darwish
You have to ask MIUI developers, it is not available yet: http://en.miui.com/download.html
What PA rom you are talking about?
PA = Paranoid Android

Dear Nexus5,
I have already asked them, but it seems no respond from them.
PA = Paranoid Android, and here is the link for R7 Plus:
http://community.oppo.com/en/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=42195&extra=
They said that it's running smoothly without any issue, so can you test it
Thanks.
thx, tested the PA rom today, and it is in early stage of development, no features yet. Cant even change the buttons yet. But it is great there is another alternative to original ColorOS rom
I see some Android devices already have Android 6.1 but it seems the Nexus 5 is still only coming with 6.0.1. Will the Nexus 5 still get official updates to 6.1 this summer? Or is the device getting closer to "End of Life"?
Also, my girlfriend has a Oneplus 1 which recently upgraded to Cyanogenmod 13.1, I suppose which is based on Android 6.1. However, I can't find any 13.1 snapshots, not even nightlies for the Hammerhead on the Cyanogenmod project page: download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=hammerhead
Is it too early to ask for CM 13.1? What about Android 6.1? Does anyone have any information or ideas about that?
Where did you see an official Android 6.1???
There's no official CM nightly called CM13.1 for bacon: https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=bacon

Its not Cyanogenmod 13.1, but stock rom CyanogenOS 13.1. Its different, and based on 6.0.1
Google didnt announded Android 6.1. Maybe Android Nougat will be, but more probably it will be 7.0.
Nexus 5 shouldnt recieve official Android Nougat update, but u will see some CM or AOSP roms for Nexus 5 based on Android Nougat AOSP code.

Well, there is an image called
Code:
cm-13.1-ZNH2KAS1KN-bacon-signed-88797441b5.zip
on cyngn.com/support
The cm-13.1 part looks like a reference to Cyanogenmod 13.1, but as dekefake already pointed out, it's CyanogenOS which I was not aware of. Also, I just noticed they changed the name in the first column from 13.1 to 13.0.1, so I guess it is just a typo (however, the filename still contains the 13.1 reference).

I did a quick google search regarding Android 6.1 and there are a ton of media items announcing Android 6.1 in June 2016, but also I guess it's just a poor researched reference to 6.0.1.
Sorry for the confusion, but it seems I'm not the only one who is confused here
There are big differences between CyanogenMod and Cyanogen OS, mainly open source vs closed-source & Microsoft apps.
There's no CM13.1 (CyanogenMod ROM), no announcement on their blog and Android Nougat 7 will be the next Android update for Nexus 5.

AFAIK the AOSP code is still maintained by Google so we will have a clean version of Android 7 (no need to port from a newer Nexus device => instability).
Anyway, we will have perfect custom roms from Android 7 AOSP branches.
this can be a silly question to ask but please answer this question...!!
I want to switch to resurrection remix as cyanogen is dead now, and lineage might take a while to give the final build for kiwi(there are only nightly builds and I don't want to take chances as this is my main phone I use for work also!!
this is the name of the file on source forge download page of resurrection remix RR-N-v5.8.2-20170305-kiwi-Official.zip
I want to know if this is a nightly build or final build, also I want to know what version of android does this ROM has? Android 5, 6 or 7?
its been uploaded to source forge on the fifth or march 2017...!!
please help!!
hello,
LOS 15.1 is released, is there any information, when the One will get the version official?
thanks
If you mean CyanoGenOS 15.1, released by CyanogenInc, the answer is pretty clear: NEVER. COS is updated to Android 6.0.1, that's it. CyanogenInc doesn't work on OS anymore, Oneplus is never going to release an Oxygen OS build for OPO, so if you want install LOS or others custom ROM, but do not expect anything official at all.

Hi,
i mean lineageos , the offical 15.1 was released at 26 february.
At the moment the lattest official build is 14.1 but for the oneplus 3 and 5 lineage released an official 15.1.
I know that lineage is no "official" release.
My question is when will there an official release for the one?
I want no custom build.
Thanks
So you better check the title of the thread you started, becouse you wrote COS! Anyway, we have to still wait for an official release of LOS and any custom ROM based on it, as there are few problems with camera (not working) and other things not working, so they plan to solve them first and then release. The other roms using Android 8.1 use Sultan Blobs or other to make camera works etc, but it is not the same. You just have to wait.
Feel free to testdrive my LOS build from the official sources at https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/development/rom-lineageos-15-1-unofficial-t3758211

You might want to start by building an AOSP ROM for your device. Here's some info to get you started.
