Update COL-L29 9.1.0.325(C432E4R1P12) arrived in UK

Just got the 9.1.0.325 update in the UK.
No visible differences that I can see, and appears to be a little faster.

U can use hisuite launcher to get new firmware

9.1.0.326 is told to be the next one for C432

9.1.0.326 is here now. It's 3.89GB. Seems to be big for regular security patch for August 2019.....

Already occured some times in the past.
Bet they have to adapt their EMUI to fit the latest security patch or requirements.

How is this firmware in terms of performance compared to emui 9.0?
I have to run in performance mode to get smoothness on emui 9, so are there any differences?
Can I revert back to emui 8.1?
Actually I can with emui 9 and the installed firmware.

I got that update today. But 4.4GB is NOT a patch!

The whole 35x branch fixed the problem with video recording getting out of focus.

Another day, another update here in the UK. A welcome surprise. Hopefully EMUI 10 soon.

Not sure but FUT sign-up is underway if want to join beta install FUT app and sign-up in it.

In France we signed up and accepted but it only worked with 353, also I'm not sure if I can just update to 355 now that I'm accepted or not it's all weird and confusing

Google Huawei beta and it'll give you a link to the Huawei beta app, it's called 'friendly user test' (FUT).
Once you install you can go to personal > join project > available projects.. and if you can get beta it will be in there.
Not available for me atm though, in UK

Need an account created in the same region as your phone also set phone region to yours

Emui 10 beta for p20 pro europe

Looks like emui 10 beta program is rolling out for Europe. Probably only for Unlocked c432 phones.. not sure how it works with Huawei. Kinda new to them.

I did absolutely nothing... installed beta app and emui 10.0 beta was listed in available projects.
I'm on 9.1.0.328, CLT-L09 C432 variant originally locked to Vodafone UK but unlocked with code from eBay and used on giffgaff network.
Is yours C432 or C782??

I've signed up at start in DE. My phone (C432 L29) was at 9.1.0.328 but after updating to 9.1.0.345 (official OTA, no FF) the beta is gone.
Does anyone know how "signing up" really works? Have I just registered my IMEI for the beta-program so the disappearing of the project doesn't matter? Or does that mean that I lost my seat in the beta project and have to wait/hope that it will be available for the latest Update?
P.S.

Hard to say. The last beta had the case that many people on the board were able to join, but most people never got the update. Must people who wanted the update before the official release needed to use FunkyH.
I would not count on ever getting the update during the beta. Huawei is one of the worst in the industry when it comes to getting timely updates.
Certainly I would never get another one.
Sadly, if you want to have a phone which actually gets updates your only choice is the iPhone.

Beta is starting. So as said I only needed 9.1.0.328 to register. I'm currently receiving the beta while I'm on 9.1.0.345.

Huawei Beta App cannot install.

Hello, i have problem on my P30 ELE-L29 with Android 10. Im trying install Huawei Beta App, but i got problem, when i try install the app i got message, "App is not installed" trying old versions, but the same. Any solution.

I was having same issue, solved by setting phone and support region to China, when you set up betta apk you can change back to your region and everything works like a charm. Cheers :laugh:

That's because must match model and build number of update being released...
Our c431 model don't have projects yet.

[App] Googlefier Easiest Way to Install GMS or GApps

I read about Googlefier a week ago in an XDA article over here and was overwhelmed to see how easy the process has become to install GMS.
Guys who don't have Google Mobile Services yet and want to try their hands on after knowing how easy the process is now, can head to the thread in the below link and try themselves.

Don't forget to report here if it worked for you or not so that other P40/P40 Pro users can benefit.

I had GMS installed on my phone since June until 3 days ago. Everything was working flawlessly until i changed password on Google. Hence changed password i had to login everywhere again. That's when nightmare began.
I had to redo my phone, so I made a backup via HiSuite(latest version) and then used HiSuiteProxy to downgrade, but it didn't work with last version. I installed older version of HiSuite on my PC(550 I think) and was be able to downgrade.
After downgrade I tried Googlefeier. At first it didn't work and I was a bit stressed because everything took a lot of time then I had in plan to invest into this process. I tried to restore back up but it didn't work. While restoring password prompted was not right. I fixed this by updating HiSuite. So remember, you can restore your back up made by HiSuite only with same version of program. You can't use different versions of HiSuite to make/restore backups.
Ok, back to Googlefeier: Read and remember carefully instructions said by program. Watch some video clips. After about 3 times with trying to install/deleting, i was finally able to do it. But keep in mind that I came to step 8 and stopped there because everything works now.
I send picture of how program should look like.
If you fail with it, delete everything through program and re-do.
Also one very big thing not mentioned by Googlefeier. Once chinese G application has been installed on your device, press home and launch the app. Click on only one option you can click, written on chinese and then switch to Googlefeier app, continue set up.
One more time, do not continue set up without launching chinese application. Run it as soon as you install it because Googlefeier wont do it for you.

My emui version is 10.1.
When I try to install Google fier and after backup the G app doesn't work. It says it is not compatible with your device in Chinese. Or something like that.
Yesterday my phone updated but the G app wasn't working on the older version as well.
IDK from which emui it updated to which. But current version is 10.1.
I think I checked before and before it was also emui 10.1
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Don't know about your phone but for P40 pro, we had to downgrade to 10.1.0.131 or older

Try enter HiCare app (ou Support app, dont know that app name in english), chance your country to another, for example Portugal etc, then check "Quick Services", and tap on "Updates". In that way It will work. If it's not, change country... In onde time or another, It will work.

My devide is P40 Pro, but In Emui 10.1.0.131, Googlefier Will work.
When you update It to Emui 10.1.0.176, It won't work anymore. I hope It help you.

I wouldn't bother mate.. I bought this phone after seeing the dual space way of getting Google apps. Installed them all and worked fine even getting notifications, next day nothing worked.. Installed all again, logged in etc, again next day nothing worked...Seems I was actually lucky to get them installing as a lot of people just get spinning downloading from play store and never install. I'm now just trying to live life without Google and logging in online for all my banking / shares / pension stuff etc

Just receive newest update EMUI11 from phone but not sure if can update to it as I have GMS install... anyone can confirm if can update to this latest EMUI 11

I'm from Malaysia, previously from 10.1.0.131...update it using Hisuite proxy to 10.1.0.182 and get the latest EMUI11 from phone OTA... my version is same as yours ELS-NX9

Now I'm not sure if i should do the update...
I'm from EU Switzerland... And the 11.0.0.151 Version i get over the Service app.. At the normal system update in the menu, the version isn't on... Until i go to the suppprt app from huawei, i get the info to update to MiUI 11... I'm confused...
I'm now on 10.1.0.176 that i get over OTA since i get the thing with GSM and Googliefer app....
@skylinestan.. Try the Huawei Support app on your phone... There ist a update button, there you get in the normal Update function of the phone and you'll get the info that you can uograde to MiUI 11....

Android 11 still on release.... not sure when will get update, maybe next year

Cinfirmed that GMS is working fine after the EMUI 11 update.

+1, today updated emui10 176 to emui 151 via OTA in Greece. Phone seems MUCH more smooth and fast, but I think Internet is a bit laggy, dunno if it is random tho.
