My technical skills when comes to android phones is next to zero, but I have been running linux (Fedora, Endeavour, currently Debian 11), I am not affraid of the terminal.
I have bought a Blu g9 pro, like 3 months ago, it came out of the box with android 9, then It updated to android 10.

It is very close to stock android, and I am mostly ok with it, exept for a few creepy apps that I would like to remove,
I would like your input on what is the safest aproach, can I just 'debloat' the current system? or might as well replace it with something else?

I've had a question I've been wanting to ask because I can't find any answers anywhere honestly I love this phone with me coming from a samsung galaxy with android pie installed I've been wanting to know if it's possible for this phone to get android pie on it because it's my favorite don't like the gome system I wanted it to change over to android pie I'll give as much information as possible I just want android pie on this device I miss the feel of it.
Good question. I too have the Gome U9 handset but the Gome OS sadly isn't all that and I'd like to get Android Pie on it if possible (missed it so much I went and bought an Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and updated to it lol).

Sorry, this is probably a newbie question, but is it possible to update Android version when running a custom ROM such as Pixel Experience? To be more specific, I am still running MIUI on my Pocophone F1 and I am looking to flash something different soon, but I have noticed that there is a Beta version out for PE to be run on Android 11. The question is how do I upgrade if I am running Android 10 and the developers have not yet sent an update out? Who knows whether there will be an option to upgrade to Android 11 if Pocophone X2 is their priority now. Thank you in advance.

Hopefully I have read your question correctly.
If a custom ROM is released for Android 11 you won't need the official system to be 11 first as the ROM itself will be built from/based on 11 so it will update your system accordingly when flashed.
Example, Nexus 5x ended official support on Android 8 but custom ROM builds took it to 9 and now 10.
As long as you follow the flashing instructions supplied by the ROM of choice you should be golden.

Got this brand-new Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S that was running MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box. The upgrade to (still Android 10-based) MIUI 12 went without a hitch, but I can't upgrade to Android 11 via OTA, regardless of how many times I tried.
I know for a fact that an upgrade to Android 11 is out and abound for this phone.
My phone runs on a Global ROM (I live in France).
Do you guys know of a way to upgrade via OTA? I don't want to have to download and manually flash a new ROM.

Android is in a high G flat spin and it's auguring in hard and fast. Pie was the last good OS these idiots put out, it just goes down like a rock from there
