Introductions:
Xiaomi Redmi 10 / 10 Prime with codename selene with model names 21061119AG, 21061119AL, 21061119BI includes Global Firmware (Global ROM) which can be flashed with clean all and lock methods. Currently available firmware are Global, Indian, Indonesian(Indo), Taiwan, European(EEA) and Russian.Reference
Background:
I bought Redmi 10 prime a month back with 21061119BI model which had Indian variant ROM (RKUINMX).
Indian ROM (RKUINMX) Features:
Contacts and Dialer: Google
Messages: Google
Calendar: Xiaomi
Region: Ability to Change
Browser: Chrome, (No Mi Browser)
ADS: Lots
Theme Store: Fonts availability as region change
Even after changing the region there were ads showing up in some apps. So I google it and found that it can be disabled using apps (toggle show ads to off, personal recommendations to off) or using adb and remove bloatware.
XiaomiADBFastbootTools(Ref) is a beautiful tool to remove bloatwares from xiaomi devices. However, After using it and removing some applications I realized I have to reboot to connect to wifi always. I still haven't found the culprit app but these days I remove very few of them. Solution was factory reset.
My bootloader was still locked. I used Miflash_unlock tool(Ref) and need to wait for few days to flash other Global ROM.
However, there is a tool to flash global rom without unlocking bootloader. XiaoMiTool V2 (XMT2)(Ref) worked fine for me which uses ADB sideload procedure to flash Global Variant ROM. My phone still shows model as 21061119BI but all apps and software now detect it as 21061119AG.
Global ROM (RKUMIMX) Features:
Contacts and Dialer: Google
Messages: Google
Calendar: Google
Region: Ability to Change
Browser: Chrome, (No Mi Browser)
ADS: Slight Less, depends on your region now.
Theme Store: Fonts availability as region change
I couldn't flash indonesian/EEA rom using XiaoMiTool V2
As my waiting time was over, I used Mi Flash Unlock to to unlock my bootloader and then Flash the Indonesian ROM using miflash tool(Ref)
Indo ROM (RKUIDMX) Features:
Contacts and Dialer: Xiaomi
Messages: Xiaomi
Calendar: Xiaomi
Region: Ability to Change
Browser: Chrome and Mi Browser)
ADS: Slight Less, depends on your region now.
Theme Store: Fonts availability as region change
I tried Taiwan ROM too.
Taiwan ROM (RKUTWMX) Features:
Contacts and Dialer: Xiaomi
Messages: Xiaomi
Calendar: Google
Region: No settings to change region.
Browser: Chrome (No Mi Browser)
ADS: Slight Less, need to turn off using apps.
Theme Store: Fonts not available.
This is the small size ROM, maybe because they remove many things like region based apps.
I settle with Indo ROM. All ROMs have sim activation issues if your carrier doesn't support it. I have not yet tried EEA and Russian ROM. If anyone have it feel free to share the app features in various ROMs.
ROMs can be downloaded at mifirm(Ref). I used clean all and lock method but it is not advisable, do try with clean all only first.
Thanks. Do we have any Custom ROMs or have to wait for it?
I can't find the Redmi 10 forum anywhere. Is it not on xda yet?

Hey xda admins we need a dedicated forum for Redmi 10 / 10 Prime (selene) phone, there are many custom roms and recoveries and we need an official source
***Need Help***
I need twrp recovery for redmi 10 selene 12.5.10 rkuidxm android 11
can confirm that the custom rom from "Nusantara Project" works
it is an android 12 rom based on AOSP
(i successfully flashed it and have been using it for just over a month)
page for redmi 10 (selene)
a working twrp is also available.
a working orange fox is supposedly available, but i have never used it.
the support team and all detailed flashing information is managed on a telegram group.
almost everyone speaks the native language of Singapore i believe.
but there is a bot that provides all the details we need when prompted.
im not sure if im allowed to add the steps here or not, or even the link to the telegram group.
ill ask them and update this post.

I just checked official download page for MIUI and there's no MIUI download for Mi 4c/s. Anyone know why?
Is Xiaomi dropped support for Mi 4c or they're just working on it? As we know the MIUI 10 updates are coming in batch.
Now all China only release Xiaomi phone (Mi4c, Mi5c, Mi5X, etc.) no longer visible in MIUI global site. Don't worry, our Mi4c still got supports. You can check Mi4c ROM download in MIUI china site.

Global ROM and Global EEA ROM (EU version) differs a little in privacy policy, GDPR etc. It shows less ads, some ads can be completely turned off in settings etc. And (as xiaomi states) EEA ROMs have some final polishes to LTE variants used in Europe.
The question is, can we switch Global ROM to Global EEA ROM and vice versa WITHOUT unlocking bootloader?
If anyone has figured the conversion process please help others,, thanks

There are two options:
1) you purchased Redmi K30 with so called "Global ROM" (firmware from Poco X2). In this case you'll have NFC but it's removed from X2 Settings (software). So, install TWRP and flash xiaomi.eu ROM (latest so far is 20.3.5 or Stable 11.0.13.0), then flash patch for hiding root and unlocked bootloader from Google Services - and you have NFC working!
2) you purchased pure Poco X2. In this case I'm afraid you don't have NFC anyway

Magisk is a bit buggy. Fails CTS profile and stuck on bootlogo upon installing certain modules.
How do you install magisk anyway? I am currently using MIUIeu 11.0.13. Patched boot.img with magisk & flashed using Twrp. Passed ctsprofile.

Redmi K30 is the chinese version, so there's clearly chinese apps.
The bootloader is sure unlockable. TWRP, root and custom ROMs (xiaomi.eu) are available, so installing multi language ROM with no chinese apps is sure possible.
Redmi Note 9 Max... - I'm not sure that it was presented at global market... I know for sure that Redm8i Note 9s is the global version of RN9 (not Max).
Bottom line:
if you find clearly "global version" RN9 Max - and YOU'RE OK WITH NO NFC - go for it. Its advantage over K30 is bigger battery (5020 mAh vs 4500 mAh).
The major advantage of K30 is NFC (and Sony IMX 686) over the Redmi Note 9 series.
The processors (730G vs 720G) are quite on peer (730G has a bit overlocked GPU and that's it).

Well, I love my K30 (however in my particular item the screen goes a little bit into yellow shades).
The great performance, battery life, camera and NFC make it a great choice.
The only thing which is better in Redmi Note 9 series is a bigger battery. In all other K30 is IMHO a bit better.

Here's xiaomi.eu website:
https://xiaomi.eu/community/
Chose MIUI 12 dowmloads or MIUI 11 stable ROMs. Then find your device in the firmware list.
Just flash it via TWRP, no "hiding" patches are needed, GPay will work at default.
If you want to back your phone into Poco x2, try these simple solutions
1. Download both fastboot rom for k30 (China) and Poco x2 (global).
2. Extract both ROMs on your computer desktop.
3. Open China rom folder then delete the images folder.
4. Open global rom folder then copy and paste images folder into the China rom folder
5. Flash China fastboot rom, it boot to Poco x2 global rom

3. what is the up side with cn version the global rom ?
3. does all the app working with global rom ? or some app canot be play because the global rom unlock

You can't use some bank apps and google pay with unlock bootloader. For global ROM, it allow integration with google.
However someone with installing of twrp recovery and magisk can overcome these apps install

I just flashed the Xiaomi.eu rom for my Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G India device, according to which the device codename is peux. The same can be seen in the pinned post of this forum, which says the Indian device has the codename peux.
However, I cannot find a stock ROM with the same codename at xiaomifirmwareupdater.com.
To quote xiaomiui.net, the rom codename should be peux:
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G India model will be the same as the global Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (veux). Although the codename is “veux”, the ROM codename is “peux”. To summarize, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G Global (veux) will be available in India as Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G.

And as per gizmochina.com, the rom codename should be veux:
The Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G that debuted in global markets recently is codenamed as “peux,” but its ROM codename is “veux.” As can be seen in the screenshot of the Mi code shared by Xiaomiui, the device with the “peux_in” codename will be arriving in India with the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G.

One thing is for sure. The Global Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Indian Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus have the same specs and therefore should support the same rom. This can be seen in Xiaomi.eu's download chart as well.
My only concern would be the codename reported in build props and elsewhere if I use the veux ROM from xiaomifirmwareupdater.com.
I would appreciate any kind of help/pointers.
PS: This device is not to be confused with Redmi Note 11 Pro+ China which has the codename pissaro.

Unfortunately, I didn't record any details of the stock ROM that shipped with the device before flashing the EU ROM. I didn't anticipate such a situation.
According to getdroidtips.com, the version should be V13.0.6.0.RKCINXM.
And here's what the Xiaomi.eu ROM reports now: V13.0.14.0.RKCMIXM 2201116SI
If compared with the screenshot provided by xiaomiui.net, the EU ROM reports veux/veux:11 in the device's fingerprint (could be because it's based on global version of MIUI), while the Indian ROM reports peux_in/peux:11 in the fingerprint.

If you look closely, both ROM codenames have been given as VEUXG, which means that the ROMs are the same.
Also, is there a way to read build.prop from a ROM's zip file without installing it? That might resolve some doubts.

It's just, I saw the top line.
It is surely good.
Is there no way to get the actual ROM that shipped with the device that will report the fingerprint to be peux_in/peux:11? Or is it the same as the veux's India ROM at xiaomifirmwareupdater.com?
I also checked their official site for ROM download, but to no avail.

Surely but the other 5g versions too.
Alright. I just flashed the veux India ROM from xiaomifirmwareupdater.com, and I can confirm that the fingerprint has been restored to reporting peux_in/peux:11 just as it should be.
So, the answer to my original question would be:
The official stock ROM for peux devices, i.e. Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G India, is the Indian version of veux's ROM as listed at xiaomifirmwareupdater.com.

I think you are confused between the official EU region ROM offered by Xiaomi and the Xiaomi.eu ROM I talked about here. The Xiaomi.eu rom is a modded version of the MIUI for this device with bloatware and ads stripped and with some added extra features. Installation process is similar to installing any other custom ROM.

I get notifications for the update but I don't want to update it. A person I know has the same device and they updated it to Android 12.
The Google Dialer is full of bugs and now much worse than before. The caller id never shows up and the phone just freeze on that screen. This the reason why I decided not to update it.
