General Update your Adreno GPU drivers to [email protected] - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

Hi,
I found out how to update your Adreno GPU drivers.
You need root and Magisk.
Just Install Drivers like Magisk Module and reboot.
With LYB Kernel and Arrow os my AnTuTu score is 602k.
Update decrease the score to 598k but because I gives more performance to GPU and slightly lower performance to CPU.
In the attachment is newfw version with works like a charm.
You can use stock , newfw or fake your Adreno name to be Adreno 660.
Original link is on LYB Kernel page
I tested and is giving me better results in Vulkan than before.
I found it on LYB Kernel Page which is the best Kernel in the time.
{Mod edit: Link removed}

vayu is msmnile....

Can I use in global ROM with root?

Hello, I have rooted Android 10.0.16 with custom blu_spark kernel and magisk installed. My phone is OnePlus 7t SD 855+ with adreno 640. Can I install these drivers with magisk and they work on my phone?

Yes this is drivers for any 855 device 860 is 855. In first boot you can face glitch on lock by wait and try unlock phone when you do restart and everything is working without any bugs or glitches. GPU driver must kick in so it need one minute.
Just flash and you have 6% more GPU performance that on stock Android 11 drivers

Push thought . I had this problem on every first boot on any ROM. Drivers must load up but lock screen is blocking it.
Remove pin and any locks and install when boots try wiping up to get to home screen then wait until drivers load up and then reboot. This only appears on first boot after 1min on home screen should be gone and you will never see this again.
When you don't have lock screen is easier to get this gone .
I used it for two months and any problems besides first boot after installing this driver for the first time.

Anyone tried v614 on poco x3 pro?

I create a Magisk Module of the v631 today as an experiment, I'm using the Poco X3 Pro on Miui 12.5.1 and it boots and both Vulkan and OpenGL is working, here's a link to the file, you can try.
Remember it's a Magisk Module.

Successfully able to boot Project Treble/AOSP rom

This is not a guide as such but more of direction to other peoples hard work and effort. I am not a developer, just an experimenter!
Main Credits - @MishaalRahman and @phhusson.
For me one of the main selling points of the Mediapad M5 was being Project Treble enabled. Being a big Nexus/Pixel fan I am not particularly fond of EMUI.
So after reading this detailed and clear guide by Mishaal Rahman http://www.xda-developers.com/flash-generic-system-image-project-treble-device/, I was able to successfully install an AOSP Generic System Image by phhusion http://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development/experimental-phh-treble-t3709659
My device - CMR-W09 (10.8" non pro wifi).
I flashed v17 with Gapps and SU and apart from an Android System error upon boot it seems to work ok. I have not had much time to play with it but so far Wifi, Bluetooth, sound, camera, fingerprint sensor, MTP and SD card appear to be working. I had issues with google play not downloading apps but worked after clearing data/cache on google play and google play services. Also have issues with superuser force closing.
For the nervous and unsure, you can easily return to stock Huawei firmware by flashing your devices stock system.img in fastboot.
Obviously bootloader needs to be unlocked see guide - https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m5/how-to/bootloader-unlock-guide-t3781275 by @Apo11on. You can use Apo11on's root guide to download your firmware to get your stock system.img.
OEM needs to be disabled in developer options.
It is best to factory reset via recovery mode and then boot straight into bootloader to keep FRP unlocked.
Do this at your own risk but please read all the available information and guides on XDA.
pphusion has made other Project Treble roms but I have yet to try them. Hopefully it would be nice if someone could fully develop Lineage for this device.
which rom did you use ? the A/B one or A only ?
It's an A-only device.
I tried AOSP with GAPPS and SU but SuperSU shows the su binary as being occupied through several reboots. Getting the Lineage GSI now and will root with magisk.
Edit:
Blah... Lineage is not an option until we have twrp :/ (at least for me) No way to install GAPPS.
Edit:
SU works with phh's super user available from the play store.
Yes i have the AOSP one now on my AL-09 and it works fine till now. Bugs : home Button not working but fingerprint works, supersu with the phhs one works. Bluetooth sometimes gives an error message. Battery drain is a little bit high. I installed the Huawei camera apk from treble forum and This works also good.
Another Bug is Apps sometimes force closing but Not often.
How is Lineage performing?
A little bit off topic, but how did you unlock the bootloader on the Wifi only version since the website for the code is offline for a few weeks now?
Thanks in advance.
Fantastic to see that Treble works.
On my AL09(ASOP with gapps and su) bluetooth never connects to any of my devices and fc on pairing.
Lineage was a non-starter, since I was unable to get gapps running. I was also getting a vendor mismatch toast. I'm back on the stock .125(C00), no working tether is infinitely more useable than no BT.
It was nice to be able to flash something that didn't brick it and was partially useable.

I think so, if you look at the github comments there is a huawei phone having the same problem, so as long as a phone is having problems it should get fixed
We would like some screenshots to see if this is real @AndDiSa @rcstar6696 @phhusson @MishaalRahman
Just installed it, attached a few screenshots. Haven't tested it a lot, but it boots.
Wie are Not joking, its real ??
Delete, double post
I will be getting my Mediapad M5 8.4 tomorrow and will be flashing the AOSP treble build straight away. Just a heads up a updated build has just been posted with some Huawei related fixes.
i flash it now, and give feedback tomorrow
I flashed the new one with gapps and su, and for the sht-l09 there is no working bluetooth, so that's as far as I go. It will be nice when the BT is fixed for this device.
Works good with dirty flash, Home Button is working now and also Automatic Brightness, but battery draining is really high and it gets hot.

Have you tried changing the cpu governor? Is it set to something like interactive? I got my Mediapad today but I am waiting for the bootloader unlock code from Huawei.

Might be worth experimenting with. Try conservative or ondemand if they are available. You can always change back if it doesn't make any difference.

Latest GPU Drivers for Mi A2 Lite

Hello guys, i'm presenting latest GPU Drivers for Mi A2 Lite.
Info
- This driver increase device's UI performance.
- This driver upstreamed v335 OLD stock drivers to v415.
- This driver working all Pie and Q roms.
- DO NOT FLASH IN MIUI!!!
Installation steps is easy; just mount vendor and flash.
Download!
work in all roms?
Does it work in stock?
What about using it with custom kernel like DH?
OpenGl is not a driver
Do not install it to HybridOS !!!
Installed in Arrow GSI Pie, just great! Thanks!
Sent from my Phh-Treble vanilla using Tapatalk
I installed this on latest havoc os 2.9 (pie) GSI with 10.0.13 base. I tried it with and without butterfly kernel and in both cases I was stuck in booting the os with a black screen and flickering backlight. So the screen was just quickly and randomly turning on and off. Also the device didn't boot in 20 minutes.
I don't know if it matters, but I have goodix touchscreen.
Did anybody had the same problem?

same thing happened to me on HavocOs 3(pie custom rom).
can i install OpenCL GPU graphic driver?..
This is OpenGL GPU... But I want to change.. can it possible?

can someone compile me a kernel with lower default clock speeds?

i was having problems with almost all the custom roms, i tried many things and tons of roms but finally i found the problem
my cpu's little cores can't handle 1.1ghz, it works ok at 998mhz but crashes and reboots at 1113mhz. big cores are fine. they're stable at 1.5ghz.
there's a kernel source code available here: https://github.com/AkagiShiroe/ICEY/releases i'm using the no_cc one, guess its the better option.
also i want icey because i can use it with all both nougat and pie.
what i want is to have all the little cores limited to 998mhz.
1113mhz for little cores should be completely removed from the kernel.
i confirmed that 1.5big 1.0little is completely stable.
right now i can't even complete my first boot in pie roms, so i can't install a kernel manager and lower my clocks...
i managed to install a nougat rom and it's stable once i lower my clock speeds with a kernel manager, but it takes more than 5 minutes with multiple reboots to be able to boot properly most of the time. its unstable while its booting, till the kernel manager applies its settings. i can rarely boot at the first attempt.
i believe i could boot properly and install pie roms without an issue if i had a kernel without 1.1ghz for little
i removed 1113600 lines from some files. not sure if it'll work but it might.. tho i can't compile it. i get errors and i don't know much about linux
ICEY-continuous-Yata-no-Kagami.zip
drive.google.com
Z00T_defconfig
can someone atleast just compile this as it is? i'd like to try it.

Hey Whats up with Magisk?

Has anyone else noticed that magisk has stopped working? The latest addition? There is no longer any access to hide magisk features with the latest features?
For instance for Pokemon Go to work on a custom rom you need magisk hide to hide magisk an hide from app.
I cannot even get it to open after it forces update?

Happy new year. Maybe reinstall Magisk manager? For me it works perfectly, just be sure to install 21.2 magisk and you should be good to go.

I actually listened to another members post an have had success flashing an rooting 3 roms that I could not do either of those with. Apparently there is some kind of conflict bwteeen something in android 10 an android 11. So Ofox 12.0.6 an global firmware for surya 12.0.3.0 are the solutions.
Magish 21.0 worked every time with an android 11. Neither 21.1 or 21.2 worked for me with A11 roms. Only magisk 21 had full functionality

Weird . For me it was the opposite. I had to flash global MIUI 12.0.4.0 to make anything custom work. Until I upgraded to 12.0.7.0, ever since everything works perfectly. Magisk below 21.0 never worked for me on this device.
I have a hypothesis, that all device variants (Indonesian, European, global, Russian) have different vendors and not 100% compatible, Maybe different modem configuration as well. I noticed in mine (European version) that LTE battery consumption is a lot better (by 2hrs SOT!!!) so i'm confused on what to do. Should I stay on MIUI with all it's issues or switch to a custom ROM and lose 1-2 hours of screen on time.

I've sorted everything out. I recommend the firmware you already use for android 11 custom roms. One rom I read other guides for an watched YouTube guides. It's EvolutionX 5.2. It has basically converted my Poco X3 NFC global into a Google pixel 5.
This rom is head an shoulders the best rom for our device. It only needs firmware 12.0.7.0. Which I also found solved all issues an to be flashed from the phones internal memory.
It's beautiful. No bugs. I only use that new twrp ending in 15 an magisk 21. Newer magisks fail to root.
But yes could be to do with different countries.
Edit: Evolution is not the highest benchmarking. An is not the fastest. Its an all round rom for daily driver use. Antutu bench's in the mid 270-280k area.
