Hi tech wizards of the sony world,
I'm curious if there is by any chance, a custom rom for the Sony XZs (SOV35) version. I did some snooping around in the custom rom/kernel section but didn't find anything eye catching to my interest (just wanted a compact version of android). I hope there are some answers around here .

My question is whether the software and roms developed for other phones, particularly the HTC magic, will work on other Android platforms such as the SE Xperia.

I'm fresh android user. Just bought used phone from gf. Next day I received IPEGA (PG-9017).
What a disappointment was on my face when i could not connect it. All over the Sony forums Admin and other says that "Xperia Tipo does not support HID". And that's end of these posts.
Is that the end of the story? Tipo doesn't support HID, period?
Can I install different ROM with android for my phone? Or maybe Sony not provided drivers? Or bluetooth hardware doesn't support HID? (I don't think so).
Please xda, tell me can if I use this gamepad with my smartphone? Or if I can not - please tell my why.
If you don't know the answer, at least redirect me somewhere where I can receive one...
Hey guys, I'm Joel16 and I'm just here to question if anyone's interested in buying an xperia L. The reason why I'm asking this is because there is a serious lack of development on xperria L. Not only that but when I went to the sony stores at first I was wanting to buy an Xperia J, and the co workers there had told me Xperia J had quite a bit of problems and that the Xperia L was a remake of Xperia J. I'm not too sure about that but it seems Xperia L has quite a bit of problems too, and that is the lack of custom roms. We have absolutely NO ROMS, NONE at all. I'm looking forward to see if anyone's interested in purchasing this device? if so I'd be happy to donate. Thankyou

I ordered my Z5 today and I'm pretty excited about it. I come from HTC One m7 which had a wonderful, very active, developer community with all sorts of roms and customisations. I just checked the Z3 section of the forum and things look a bit deserted out there... so what do you think?

There will be a few custom roms eventually but nothing like M7. HTC has a robust group of developers and their devices are easier to work with. Sony devices lose some camera functionality and drm keys when bootloader unlocked so that discourages development slightly.
