So sorry for posting about diffrent phone in this thread, i just don't see the A31 thread anywhere. Can someone help me im trying to install any rom (without gapps) on A31, but it seems that none of the custom roms have A31 as their supported device and im looking for any custom rom and TWRP because i can't even find TWRP for it. Is the phone just hard to custom rom or what? i searched for 3 hours and coudn't find anything worthy of trying. Thanks ! and once again sorry for posting in diffrent thread!
your best bet is trying out a gsi by flashing it with fastboot devs cant get roms for everyphone and the a31 must not be on their list
my a30s has no custom roms so i had to get it working myself

and since im a newbie here at xda im not allowed to post there yet and this is the only place im allowed to post.
I had some troubles using those tutorials like set_perm but i solved it myself. And it seems like everything is working fine. no error no nothing. and it flashed fine. but i cant get seem to get past the boot animation. Im stuck.
Now the question is. What do I do?
btw im using Pantech Sky a840s on an unofficial port Paranoid Android Build 2.99 by Mizal (pa_ef44s-2.99-27DEC2012-211136-PARANOID.zip) Which is the ROM im using for my BASE. Rooted and on CWM 6.0.1.3

Im doing everything that i can too. but it seems like when i try to copy framework it just stops there.
i tried 4.1 to 4.1 4.2 to 4.2. used ROM porter 3-4 manual port instructions... to no avail. i tried posting my question to each and every1 but no one can answer. hmm... im stuck.

I tried alot of roms too.
But i really want to try LiquidSmooth ROM / Paranoid Android 3+... *sighs*

Man, the stock ROM for vega s5 is very good (of course you have only 2 option for language but I think English is very good). I am newbie too and if you really want to progress on your project, please share with me and we can do it together like a team. The reason noone answered is cos' a840s is very rare here
For the port ROM, I suggest we should use the Panaroid source for S3 north america or htc one x north america which is same hardware as pantech
Hi I just got an A84oSP, I'm in Korea and it's loaded with a ton of bloatware that I want to remove. Any link to a proceedure for rooting it, links to custom recoveries or links to ROMs, nothing fancy, (Stability > Battery > Preformance) would usually be my priorities for a ROM...Usually basic CM does that for me, but can't find any..

I decided to create this new discussion because I have some questions about this device. I have already rooted it, but I have something that I'm not able to do. I tried to find custom recovery for this device, but the only way I found was via Odin. Is any other simpler options? And I was even looking for a custom ROM, because the original one is incredibly slow, but I didn't find anything. Thank you for any advice and help

Flashing most custom recoveries to a samsung phone requires Odin, to be honest it is the simplest method. I know it looks confusing but after a few attempts it becomes seccond nature.

Try all of them, my personal favorite is Paranoid Android
Just try until you find one that you like

It's very simple.
Do a google search for:
"Custom ROMs for (your model number)"
If that doesn't give you any good links to follow then there aren't any ROMs for your model number. Its possible that your device is the same as another device and that you could use its ROMs but you'd have to research, compare the devices and ask experienced members that own both of the devices you're comparing if they can use the same ROMs.
If you don't find anything, the next option is to port a ROM from a similar device to work on yours, you can find guides for learning how to port ROMs, there are many guides all over Google.

I have already seen that thread. In that thread the thread creater have only told that he will make CyanogenMod for Samsung Galaxy Grand max one day which he have not done till now and i guess he will never do that so please someone else make a rom and recovery for this device.

Hello. I just have a new Galaxy Grand Max (Korean 4g). I'm trying my best to create cm13 and panaroid 6. The problem is...well... many.
1 : I don't have any skill in programming make me difficult to compile rom.
2 : I think that only a few people buy this phone make it difficult to find someone that can help us.

I already have a rooted nexus 6 with the Lineage OS custom rom and it's pretty good but it was launch on 2014, the battery is fast tired, and he fears water.
I have looking for a Blackview BV9100 because, as I see on some sites like below it's possible to flash a rom custom on it.

I have bought it, and following multiples tutorials I have unlock the bootloader, flash TWRP as the custom recovery with adb and fastboot on my Debian Linux, like I have do on the Nexus 6 few years ago.
The problem is a bootloop after the flash of the system.img, I have try a lot of times and with many ways but the device show me the Blackview logo and reboot all the times.
-Has anyone made it with the BV9100 and the GSI rom ??
-I don't have any save of the stock rom so I can't reflash it, any ideas for unbrick the device ?
-Can I find the stock rom on the internet and reflash it or it is bricked-bricked ?
-As I see we can't trust these sites... or it's me ?
-I don't want a Blackview in particular but I like these devices. I also see Ulefone, Crosscall, Oukitel, AGM ... have you flash custom roms on it ?
I am not very interested by a stock rom + root only and probable there are options with roms custom.
I search a lightweight open source system like the AOSP or LineageOS.
So if it's not possible with the BV9100 (it is ?) or to unbrick it (it is ?), I search other candidate,
