I see it in my profile but when I tap it it will only take me to my camera with no way of getting to any files & whenever I try to just take a picture, no matter what size or settings I use, it says it's too big. Help please

This works for me: Go to your account details (https://forum.xda-developers.com/account/), scroll down to "profile banner" and click "Edit profile banner" (I don't remember if there's a differently named button when you haven't set a profile banner yet). At "Upload new profile banner" click search and select via the explorer the image file you want to set as profile banner.

I have a gps cab when I install it the cab auto install it in my device. but I want it on my CF card so what I did is cut and paste the gps file from my device to my cf and when I use file explorer I can access the program from there. How can I add a shortcut on my device so dont have to do thru file explorer to start the gps program. I did a search and no info on this thanks
just select the exe file and select "copy", then go to "\windows\startmenu\programs" and click somewhere into
the white background at the end of the list for some seconds and choose "paste shortcut" and you're done....

I have a HTC Hero CMDA and the screen is pretty small... my problem is, when I go to share something, there is no way to scroll the screen to see more apps listed towards the top of the screen. Like if I want to share something using "Messaging" I can't get to it because it is off the top of the screen with no way to scroll up to it.
Is there a way to move these entries around and/or delete some etc?
Example:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Anyone? I mean there has to be a local file or something that stores these entries that can be modified/adjusted. When you install apps, they are obviously adding entries somewhere.
In short, no.

Whether or not you can scroll the list seems to depend on the individual app. For example you can't in the default Gallery, but you can in the Gallery replacement Quickpic. At least, that's what i gleaned from searching for and reading those threads.
I had a mass updating of apps a few days ago and ever since, I've been CONSTANTLY interrupted no matter what I'm doing. This stupid screen pops up and it doesn't care how many times I decline.

They did indeed have the answer.
Thank you so so so so so so very much!
The solution for me was to DECLINE the pop up every time.
Open the stock contacts app (orange button) and open my own profile (shown at the top of the contacts list).
From my profile, the first option was profile sharing, which was turned off. Click it on the text.. Don't toggle it on or off, you may hang up your phone.
It'll display your registered number at the bottom. Ignore that. You're going to deregister your number but you don't do it from there.
Click the menu or 'more' button at the top. Deregister your phone number.
Done.
On my Pixel 3, in Settings > About phone, I get a "2" beside a generic profile picture icon. I'm not sure what that means. I can only guess it's supposed to show my name and my profile picture? Problem is, I am unable to change it. Anybody knows how to do it?

Try settings>system>advanced>multiple users. Touch your name and you should be able to change it there. You can also add a picture for your profile icon there if you want.

Go to settings > more features > entertainment toolbox
You can not move it to a different place sadly for now maybe in the future
Thank you very much Koudy69
