This is the newest firmware from miui 9 beta rom .
Baseband version : 8953_GEN_PACK-1.98593.1.102026.1
Use this for Nougat roms.
I tested this with Slim Rom weekly. But i guess work with Lineage OS too.
Intallation :
1. Install this firmware
2. Install a Rom and then Gapps

if anyone needs it. this firmware fixes all pokemon go plus issues on miui nougat roms . <3 not a huge thing but nice to be back on miui again

Can I flash this firmware without wiping my phone (clear cache/dalvik etc)?

Surprisingly speaker output is loud on new official built, don't know if this is because of new firmware?

What is the advantage of this over the older modem?

Getting random shutdowns with this new firmware. LOS 14.1 official, stock kernel, no root.

It works well in resurrection remix rom, so far no problems found.

Any other host pls, mega forcing you download their app and create an account!

The easiest way to DL without mega app/account is just open the link with Chrome and request desktop site, tap download using browser. There ya go.

LineageOS, like many other roms, is a custom Android rom based on the Android Open Source Project - no bloatware, no sluggish skins like the one from LG/Samsung/Huawei/Xiaomi/etc.
The LED is used for notifications, among other things.
A rom's thread is not a place to ask for peripherals. Try the accessories section.

Installation
If you are currently running first release of the ROM, just boot to TWRP and flash the V2.0 release and then Update 3 without any wipe. In case of error, you’ll have to wipe data and cache then. Else, follow these steps below.
If you're on an Android 6.0 ROM or LineageOS 14.1 for Y6, download and install official Nougat for DOOGEE Y6 first. It's available on needrom.com
You can skip this step if you're already running Android 7.0 official.
Download and install this TWRP: https://www.needrom.com/download/twrp_302_doogee_y6/
Any TWRP should work. Skip it if you already have one installed.
Boot from that TWRP.
Backup NVRAM and NVDATA partitions (this step is important)
Wipe data. Click "Advanced". Check "Data", "Dalvik/Art Cache", "System" and wipe.
Install the ROM zip file
Restore the NVRAM and NVDATA backup
Reboot. First boot shouldn't exceed 10 minutes!

On-screen navigation bar has been disabled in update 3. You'll need to use an app like Buttons Remapper to remap "MENU" key so that it can launch "Recents" instead of "Menu".

I think I already know what the problem was, a module I installed, Stratosphere, in stock works normally, I installed Pixel Experience and put the module and the headphone also bugged.

does fingerprint sensor work?

fingerprint sensor still works, just ilke stock rom. as i replaced my display with a aftermarket one, mine had some trouble registering my finger at first but it works just fine now. if you have the original display you shouldnt have any problems
