Who is having trouble with their vacation card

Hi,
I will be traveling to US in few weeks. Can you please suggest me the best local prepaid card for data?
I found this:
http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.com/prepaid-phone/Mobile-Broadband-SIM-ONLY-KIT-Prepaid
It's $10 for the SIM card and $10 for each 1 GB pass (or $30 for 3 GB)? That's all I have to pay and it will work in relay?
Thanks a lot.
Straight talk has a tmo based Sim card...its what I've used on my relay
Want to use sprint tab 3 on prepaid network???
Ok so I just got this Samsung tab 3 from a pawn shop for 25 bucks (in pretty good condition) and it had a SIM card in it. I bought it kinda on a impulse and didn't know it was a Sprint tablet. Now...the SIM card of whoever owned it before was still in there..and mobile data is still working. So I turned it off (I'm not a jerk lol) and I'm wanting to use it on a prepaid network. It's not a huge deal to me to have it with 3g/4g so I don't want to put it on my cell plan with Verizon. So I'm wondering if I can use it on straight talk or another prepaid network if I unlock it. Which ones are decent? I'd be looking for like 2 gigs a month. Thanks!
I'm grandfathered into a sprint unlimited plan which is no credit check meaning no contract and I only pay $50 a month and the thing is I went to the store to see if I can upgrade but they said I can but I'd have to get a new account and pay wayy more since the promotion I have is no longer available, now my question is can I buy an s7 and unlock it and put my s5 sim card into this s7? Does it even work that way? Because I also was considering on buying flagship killer but idk how that works, like when the phone arrives do I just put my sprint sim into it? Thanks in advance!
Just added my card. Better late than never.
yeah, i tried with those vending machine for the first time with this bank and shortly samsung gave me $30 gift card. i'd chosen best buy
Unlocked Bootloader > Samsung Pay
Shouldn't we have an answer right now? All I see is T-Mobile blaming Samsung and Samsung blaming T-Mobile. This is seriously getting annoying. I think I might just end up returning the phone. I switched from an iPhone thinking about the exploration of the unlocking/rooting world. This phone had a lot of potential but has failed.
I need an emergency backup phone today as my old phone died. I am traveling and staying in a small town and am able to buy a Samsung J1 for $50 at a local Wal-Mart. I heard it was decent for the price. The catch is it is a boxed Verizon prepaid phone.
I am currently on Verizon unlimited subscription plan. I thought maybe I could take my sim from my old phone and put it in the prepaid phone and presto it would work. I still wanted to make sure before I spent $50.
I got online and several people on a couple different forums said that you can't just place your old sim in and if you do the phone is hotlined and locked immediately by Verizon
.
They said you have to pay $30 prepaid fee for 1st month and then phone IMMEDIATELY unlocks and you can use it on your regular subscription plan with your old phones sim.
The Verizon rep at 1-800 and at the local store told me yes you have to pay for the first month but also WAIT 30 DAYS before it is able to use (on your regular plan).
Which is it?

I'd go with what the Verizon rep said, waiting 30 days sounds right to me.
