Apple released their newest iMAC's. I own the 24 inch one since two weeks after almost 40 years of using Microsoft devices. Since I'm familiar already with other Apple products (iWatch - iPhone - iPAD), I got used to the iMAC rather quickly. I must say, compared to my previous Microsoft devices, that the switch to the iMAC was not only a magnificant decision, but also one I've should have done times ago. The 4K Retina display is simply amazing and the software is fast as hell. In almost all aspects, this is a major upgrade. Are the also disadvantages? Yes, Finder is a pain in the ass versus the Explorer and the connection of an external SDD/HDD takes longer than in Windows. But all in all, Apple wins for more than 95% versus Windows, kindest regards kuzibri

Can this be done with HTC phones?
I like the concept. It's about time, we can get a picture of our own phone/mp3 player on the screen, color included. Itunes has only done that for about 4 versions now.
Here is the link to the developer kit: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/DeviceExperience/Dev-Kit.mspx
Which I assume will never get utilized by phone manufacturers, since Microsoft is leaving it up to them. Maybe for the newest ones.
Nice article about it: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2354491,00.asp
If there is a place likely to develop these custom .xml profiles before waiting for the phone companies to do it, XDA seems like the place.
Any takers on cooking these profiles up? 1 Vote for the Tilt.

I've gone through a few phones recently and many of them already do this in WMDC but I suspect you need a manufacturer that can be bothered. In fact, I remember my tosh g900 doing this a couple of years ago.
I mean.. check it out http://www.nokiawindows.co.cc/nokia-shows-off-nokia-x7-symbian-phone/
To mee it looks awful , but good TECH!
It looks like an iPhone

Good Tech? It's got an Arm11 cpu in it! Biggest issue with symbian phones, they don't push for high end hardware.
My now 7 year old 6630 is still flawless, after it lost 3 batteries and 2 panels. When I saw this I can't help but notice that the UI is pretty much the same, except for the touch screen. Otherwise it is a flawless phone, but you can't use the same UI for 10 years, except for apple though, they can
Looks awesome, but I'm not going to buy it as it has symbian :/
I've nothing against symbian and nokia, but it's too much presenting phone with 680Mhz while at same time HTC presenting 1.2GHz dual core. Both phones cost almost the same while symbian won't be supported in near future by nokia (as far as I heard it was official annouced by nokia)
X7 has outdated specification (CPU+GPU+RAM+360x640)
No AF
but it have 4 speakers and this is cool (but only this)
Samsung Galaxy Q : Folding Tablet
Samsung Galaxy Q, a 5.3 inch tablet is coming to IFA, the exhibition of consumer electronics this September. The Galaxy Q reminds of the Imerj : SmartPad. So, what makes Samasung Galaxy Q special is its AMOLED display developed by Samsung which could be folded 100000 Times before it starts to deteriorate.

The two screen/displays are connected with thin silicone rubber and can last for 5 years easily with 50 folds on average daily. Though the technology is still on testing stages, this is next generation device we have been waiting for.
Talking of the technical specifications, the device has a SUPER AMOLED Display with 960 by 800 pixel ratio and supports 4G LTE Network. The device runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

I think it's a pretty nice concept perhaps not for a normal user but for some people who go around allot and don't actually wanna drag a tablet around this is a good solution.
It stays compact but with a bigger screen can give you more view space to read mails & agenda.
I like it.

What's your opinion about this product?rubbish or valuable goods?
I use Kingston widrive or the air stash. The Kingston also works with Android. Pretty cool products.
Over a year since it was announced at CES, said to be a prototype, that was definitely coming to market
Shock Resistant - 10 ft.
Pressure Resistant - 1 Ton
Water Proof - 10 Meters.
Gorilla Glass
maybe has GPS, a compass, an Altitude reader, and a Barometer
most people at CES likely thought this was a new GPS device and passed it right over
its the coolest phone I've ever seen, and i'm glad it hasnt come out yet, since hardware a year ago was no where even close to where it is today
Where is this Phone?
I would pay any price for this phone..

Ya'know... I can't find anything on it. No news reports have been made in several months and Casio's site shows nothing on it. It seems as if they've given up on this specific prototype and are possibly working on one that is a bit more appealing to the general smartphone market.
Their previous phones weren't bad (my friend had the Commando). It had really nice build quality and the screen wasn't half bad either. I'd be interested in a new Casio G-Shock phone...
What a shame. I would love to have one as a backup device for when I go hiking/mountaineering.
