Is there a way to put a real web browser on the sda?
If not ,what phone will?
Is firefox mobile good?
The closest thing I've seen to a real web browser on a Microsoft phone is the Picsel browser for the touchscreen phones.
It can't hold a candle to iPhone's Safari, so I've been told.
Opera mini can show pages like that. The only problem is that some scripts are disabled. Other than that pages look more or less the same as they would look on desktop. It also reduces the amount of loading time.
Other browser was Microsoft Deepfish, but there is not much news about that one.
sda?
Will any of these browsers work on sda?
Just interested in streaming the site "slacker".com
Are they safe?
2nd on Opera Mini, its great and amazingly fast. It makes mobile browsing awesome esp once you get to know the shortcuts, and esp when you like to go back and forward through your history a lot. Its soo damned fast at that. Just make sure you get Mini, not Mobile.
ohh streaming is another story...I know there are some streaming video options/flv options. I just haven't kept up with those options. I'm sure if you did a search on playing youtube, you'd come up with something.
But if you could deal w/not using Slacker.com. These two sites are formatted for mobile use and work excellently in Pocket IE.

Radiotime has real radio stations and a really cool format that allows you to change stations and genres using your joystick.
I have HTC One X, and I am unable to load web pages using Firefox, Opera Mini, Opera Mobile. But other browsers - Chrome and Stock browser seem to be working fine. Also all the other apps like Tumblr, Google+, Gmail are working fine. Its just the browsers are not able to load any web pages and that too only Firefox, Opera Mini, Opera Mobile.
I though AVG might be blocking connection so I uninstalled it and restarted the phone but still no luck. Has Google gone Apple's way of not allowing other browsers or is there a problem with my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a problem with the internet...I connect it to my router, and the asus browser works great, but google play, facebook and every game or app that uses internet besides the stock browser can't work...? any solution?
I've done some considerable searching, but cant find a web browser (other than chrome, or built in android browser) with Google bookmark support (that doesn't require a desktop browser with plugins to link/sync bookmarks)
If i can find an alternative browser for my aging tablet that i can save bookmarks on, and they show up on my n4 in chrome browser, and vice versa, i would be very happy. Chrome struggles on my tablet.
Anyone have any suggestions?

How To Make Your Opera Browser Load Faster Even With Slow Connection
Am going to teach you guys how to make your opera browser load faster even
with slow connection using Opera Turbo.
FEATURES
Great speed, wherever you go
You cannot always get fast web access. Perhaps you have to connect with
Wi-Fi in a busy cafe or use a laptop connected to a mobile phone.
In these situations, surfing the web can be frustratingly slow. That is why
the Opera browser includes the unique Opera Turbo mode that can load
webpages up to five times faster than other browsers.
No privacy worries
Even while using Opera Turbo, secured connections do not go through Opera's
servers. This means that when you are using your bank or transmitting
sensitive data, you are talking directly with the website.
How we squeeze out all that speed
When Opera Turbo is enabled, webpages are compressed via Opera's servers so
that they use much less data than the originals. This means that there is
less to download, so you can see your webpages more quickly.
Enabling Opera Turbo is as simple as clicking the Opera Turbo icon at the
bottom-left of the Opera browser window. When you are on a fast connection
again and Opera Turbo is not needed, the Opera browser will automatically
disable it.
HOW TO MAKE YOUR OPERAMINI BROWSER LOAD FASTER WHEN BROWSING
Visit this link: http://opera.com/portal/turbo
You will get a message like this: Opera Turbo enabled.
Now, you can browse the web faster on slow connections.
Exit or close the operamini browser.
Then open/launch your operamini browser again and experience the speed of
browsing.
