[Partially solved] How to - QTC files

Hi,
How do i convert png files to qtc files??

I figured that Manila Editor can be used to replace existing qtc file but still not sure on how to create a new one (I think there is no need to create a new one )

Click to collapse
For image editing type mods, you can use Mode9 Editor to convert the original manila file into a PNG file.
Then, using image editing software such as PhotoShop, Fireworks etc, edit the image as you prefer.
Use Mode9 Editor to convert your newly edited file back into a manila file.
Copy and paste the new manila file back into your device's 'Windows' directory (using Resco, Total Commander or similar to ensure the original file is overwritten).
Don't forget, if you're going to mess with manila files... backup, backup, backup!

Are they stored in a database or as individual image files in the file system?
If I am rooted, can I access them?

DCIM directory rename?

Hi there
I wanted to know if i can change the name of the directory for where photos/videos I capture are saved? Renaming the file itself doesn't work as Android just creates a new "100ANDRO" file instead and continues to save new files there.
No you cannot, until you edit the camera application.
The app dsc-rename can move the pic's automaticly in another folder
