Hi!
My Samsung J4+ gets stuck on the "Android Starting" screen during bootup then hangs. Whenever this happens, there are red dotted lines on some parts of the screen then the phone reboots only to go through the exact same thing again. Any idea how I can fix this? I haven't activated usb debugging on my phone unfortunately since it won't boot past that screen. Sometimes, it doesn't even get to the "Android Starting" Screen. It just reboots after showing the Samsung logo. I really hope you guys could help me out. I have zero knowledge on how to do things so a step by step guide would be deeply appreciated. I don't mind having my files deleted, I just really need to get my phone working again. Thank you very much!
That's called being soft bricked, use odin, go into download mode, flash twrp install a custom rom install magisk.

First off, I am only average at understanding a lot of the tech language that can come in some of these solutions, so english and explaining would be much appreciated. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that has hyperdrive rom and is rooted. I restarted phone yesterday and am now stuck in bootloop. When the phone is booting up, right before booting android, it says at the bottom,
Initialisation finished...
Activating root access...
Beginning Android Boot sequence.
Then it just gets stuck there. I left the phone on overnight to see if it would move past there on its own and in the morning it is still stuck on that screen. I can remove the battery to restart the process. It starts to boot and safestrap: enabled appears. At the bottom it has recovery on the left and continue on the right. If press continue, then the next screen is where it gets stuck - Initialisation finished... Activating root access... Beginning Android Boot sequence. The recovery area is TWRP and where I don't quite understand everything. I came across where I could load the stock rom and was able to get past the bootloop screen, but then when I try to enter my security pattern it doesn't accept it. Is there any way to get past the security pattern/pin?
I would like to get past this bootloop screen, but would settle if I am able to just get all the data off the phone - contacts, texts, voice recordings, pics.
Please let me know what you think and how to fix this. THANK YOU THANK YOU!
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. Could you let me know what variant of the S4 you have, i337, i9500, etc.? Try to recover your data by booting into your custom recovery. MTP file transfer should work from there.
I have a T-Mobile Galaxy S5, stock and rooted. Today, I used Kies to update to the latest G900TUVS1FOJ4 patch. That worked fine with no issue, but it did clear my root. No problem. So then I used the tutorial on this site:
http://nasirtech.blogspot.com/2015/02/root-g900tuvu1dob1-android-50-stock.html
to try to re-obtain root. (This was the tutorial I used previously and it worked fine.) However, this time, at the end, after Odin said "PASS" and the phone rebooted, it got stuck on the Samsung logo screen, and it will not go past it. I have gone into recovery and cleared the cache and done a factory wipe/reset, but it still gets stuck on the logo screen.
[Edit:] I am adding that after a long time of showing the Samsung logo screen (not sure how long), it does switch over to the white T-Mobile logo screen. Then that screen stays for a long time. I gave up and pulled battery to start over, but now it's doing it all over again.
[Edit 2:] I also want to add that the Samsung logo screen it is stuck on is not the colorful one, but the static black&white one, with "Powered by Android" at the bottom. In case that matters.
I can't figure out what to do next. I'm wary of following a tutorial on the web now, for fear it will be incorrect and do more damage.
What I want is to get past this, and end up with my phone on the new G900TUVS1FOJ4 patch, stock, and rooted.
Thank you,
Chris
Ok, I was able to flash stock G900TUVS1FOJ4, so my phone is no longer stuck, and I'm on the latest stock, but unrooted.
Now I am having trouble finding how to safely root it without doing the same thing again.
Any instructions out there for safely rooting this version?

Hey guys, I've got a Kyocera Brigadier and I decided to change the runtime from Dalvik to ART. Now the phone is stuck on loadscreen and I don't know how to fix it. The phone is rooted using the KingRoot app, but I don't know if that would help in any way.
Please help me guys!
Similar Issue
I am have a very similar issue, I also rooted my Brigadier with Kingroot and all went well. However, I attempted to flash the Xposed Framework onto it using Flashify. After doing such it got stuck in a bootloop, I was able to fix that problem by booting into fastboot mode and using fastboot to push stock firmware back onto my device. However now I have an even bigger problem where my phone boots up to the Powered by Android screen and then to the Kyocera screen, however instead of continuing to boot to the Verizon Wireless screen and then into the phone, it gets stuck at a black screen. I have tried waiting for hours and nothing at all happens, also I can no longer seem to boot into fastboot mode or in other words the Powered by Android screen with the little 1 in the top left corner of the screen. Fastboot nor ADB recognizes the device when plugged into my computer, as neither list anything when ran. Please help, I don't want to have to pay and end up sending my phone into Verizon to be unbricked.

I have the same problem. I bought a new a Brigadier that was on 4.4.2. I rooted with Kingroot ran update and now my phone will not boot past Kyocera screen. It goes black with the back light on. Did factory wipe and still nothing. I am shocked that KK has killed yet another phone of mine. I very much dislike KK ROM. What did you find out?
Hi, I'm having some problems with my Samsung S7 (G930F) recently after installing Pixel Experience, everything worked fine for 2 days until now, I rebooted it to flash a custom boot animation, but instead of entering TWRP, it showed the TWRP screen and rebooted, showed it again and rebooted.... I can't access Android, and I've tried to reflash TWRP with JOdin (Odin for Linux) but when it tries to generate a PIT, it generates it, but its blank, so I don't know what to do now. If anyone knows how to fix this, please help me, any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hello,
i wanted to root my Samsung Galaxy A50. I watched a Tutorial and i am stuck at 5:02 in the Booting screen (just the Samsung logo). Everytime after a while of showing the booting screen it restarts and shows: "The Phone is not running samsungs official software. You may have problems with features or security. and you wont be able to download Software updates". Then after a while it shows the booting screen again. This repeats all the time. I already googled and found nothing that can help me.
