Always loved immersive mode on my Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 (on Pie, and using an app and tweaking adb)
Wondering if that's possible on the Poco F2 Pro because I've read it doesn't work on MIUI, and worried might break something.
Would it be the same method, or a different one for Android 10?
Thanks.
Well the status bar is hidden when the app you're running is in fullscreen mode (Settings>App>You App>turn on fullscreen mode to force it)...
But I don't think you can disable it on non-fullscreen apps or on the home screen without root..

Thanks. I tried your suggestion but the status bar icons are still there.
My ZenFone isn't rooted actually. Am. Just using an immersive mode app on the Play Store which asks you to plug in your phone to the PC and access adb via CMD, and type in some strings of command.
I suppose I could do it on this Poco as well, but was just wondering if there's any advice against doing that. It's my first time to use Xiaomi.
EDIT
Tried the app last night but only getting bounced on ADB.
As the title suggests, the task viewer on my poco x3 nfc (MIUI 12.0.1.0RJGMIXM) doesn't work properly. There's no split screen option unless I hold an app, I can't change the style of how I view my background apps, and there is no other shortcuts. I don't even see my ram usage. I've recently updated from MIUI 12.0.9.0 (Android 10) to MIUI 12.0.1.0RJGMIXM (Android 11). Thanks in Advance.
What do you mean by 'Task Viewer'?
Do you mean the recent apps screen?
The settings for those are within Poco Launcher settings. Open Poco Launcher, long press empty space, select settings, select home screen = Show Suggestions + Show memory status.
If it still doesn't work, clear data of Poco Launcher and restart the device.
I factory reset the device as there is so many bugs on that update. Now it's fixed. Most Android 11 features are also gone I think. Thanks btw.
face an issue in
Redmi Note 7 Pro - MIUI 12 - Android 10.
The override force dark mode option was existing before. And it was enabled at that time. Now it's gone. In Google phone app when in a call if I tap speaker button, the white overlay is black and can't even find if it's in speaker mode.
Is there any ADB code so that I can manually disable it.
I experienced the same thing, and see the "Individual apps" listed under Dark mode in settings *only when dark mode is enabled*
When the switch is set to off, the advanced options is hidden. Nice UX
Device: Poco X4 Pro 5G
MIUI Global 13.0.8(RKCEUXM)
When i go into the dark mode options to activate/deactivate the dark mode for selected apps like on MIUI 12 there are no apps at all. the trick with the bar to scroll doesnt work too. after a while i found THIS magisk module that i installed .. dont work too
the module only works with ForceDarkAppSettings.json and packages.list files. booth files are NOT in the etc folder.
how can i fix this? amazon in white is disgusting
I don't think that there is a fix.
Is there a way to turn on dark mode without having the apps going dark? I want to keep all apps light but have system dark mode on.
OnePlus 8t android 13.

I think apps choose theme according to which system is using at the moment.
If android is set to dark mode, apps will be with dark theme too.
Some apps though allow to manually set desired theme.
