Ok I unlocked the boot while on Android Q and it messed up my fingerprint sensor. I was told that if you downgrade to Android Pie that it would fix my issue. What i need to know is , does this phone have a kfuse that stops us from downgrading like some other brand phones? How do i flash the downgrade zip from Asus website? Any help is appreciated. Also has anyone else in here downgraded from Android Q to Android Pie without making a brick lol .

I updated to Android 11 Developer Preview by OTA on my Verizon Pixel 3 only to find that ADB sideloading and any normal path to downgrade has been disabled. Does anyone have any idea of how I would get back to Android 10 now? This variant does not have to option to unlock the bootloader.

As far as I know from my little research you can't downgrade without a unlockable bootloader. You have to wait till it goes from a developer preview to beta then you should be able to downgrade by opting in and take the OTA to beta then opting out and taking the OTA to downgrade back to Android 10, same as prior years.

As mentioned above you have to wait for the public beta and opt into that and take that ota. Then opt out and, if it is the same as prior years, you will get an ota to downgrade you.
I do have an unlocked bootloader pixel 3a and ran the official Android 10 since I got it. Then decided to try Android 11 Dev preview for a few days and now would like to go back to official Android 10. Is there a step by step tutorial or even possible to go back? Or am I stuck with it.
Edit: NVM I've got it back to official stock Android 10 latest update.
There was a huge performance drop on Android 12, so I want to downgrade to Android 11.
Can I flash the file mentioned in this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/asus-rog-phone-5-raw-firmware-flash-file-fastboot-ww-rom.4268331/) on a locked bootloader?
Hello, I suppose you are on WW-31.0810.1226.91 firmware, so in order to go back to A11 you should use the provided firmware from ASUS, which is named ''Version Android 12 to Android 11''.
You download it from this page https://www.asus.com/supportonly/ROG Phone 5 (ZS673KS)/HelpDesk_BIOS/ and will have this name UL-ASUS_I005_1-ASUS-99.0840.2201.226-1.1.102-user.zip and you rename it to a later version like UL-ASUS_I005_1-ASUS-100.0850.2202.227-1.1.159-user.zip that is a completly arbitrary name but will allow to install an older update over a newer one. I can not guarantee this will work or doesn't break your device, because with RP5 is a matter of luck.
Wish You good luck and let me know.
Hello. I installed Android 13 and I am not satisfied. I would like to return to Android 12. I understood that it is possible to downgrade by downloading the related file for Android 12 which will be placed in the root directory of the phone and then downgrade from the local installation. Oneplus support told me that they are not allowed to help me... Can you help me with a link where I can download the official, stock version of Oxygen 12? Has anyone successfully done this before? Thank you.
