Yeah if you were on any Linux4 based rom such as official lineageos or similarly based rom that is what you have to do.
look good
Download link do not work for me
I dont know whats wrong with all the damn threads here with ROMs. You spend time making the rom, which i am grateful for, and making the rom banners, but can not freaking put a damn image with it so we can see how it looks after installing. 90% of the rom threads are missing the screenshots.

I have too agree, it's not like the good ol' days where you had screen shots for almost every rom on here. Yet if your a flashoholic like I am you soon come too realise you don't need screenshots. The name is just a name when the bases of the rom is LineageOS or One UI a few system changes here a bit of colour there yet the UI will remain the same.
The excitement of flashing a new rom has almost faded when you already know what too expect. You can't even customize your phone like you used too without jumping through hoops or worse Bootloops.

Do you think you can add the ram plus feature into this rom?
Hi, Imma try to install this rom on my note 10+ but I haven't done this since I was a kid and much has changed and slipped my memory. Are there any good guides to installing this to a vanilla unmodded plain phone? my main concerns are if I need to root beforehand and if any ol tutorial for any other rom will work and if this one requires any special preparation.

CarbonROM is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look, build, and use our code at CarbonROM's GitHub and at CarbonROM Gerrit.

While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
We recommend MindTheGApps. OpenGApps should work, but please make sure you clearly mention the gapps you're using when reporting bugs.

Hey another day another rom, that's what you might be thinking. but we at stag (I'll try not to use big words, because the idea is to be simple) aim at something towards elegance. We are learners just like everyone out there, This is small something we have started which helps us learn every single day. Why Stag, you might question, my answer would be why not. After all Harry's patronus was a stag(pun intended). Anyway, so the aim here is to provide a really good experience to everyone who uses, everyone on telegram channel can contact us and request, everything will be considered, because if you as users feel something missing, it obviously must be missing. So looking forward for people using our StagOS and giving us all your precious feedback.

I deleted Data, cache and system from my device via Orangefox recovery.
Then i restartet to boot in recovery again.
And thats the problem. It looks like my boot partition is now dead. Everytime if i try to boot it just get in fastboot mode.
Flashing recovery via fastboot or try to boot it doesnt work.
EDIT: There is a new thread now: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/help/phone-stucks-fastboot-fastboot-devices-t4077795

*As I did not add a switch to change refresh rate, it is stuck at 90hz ( fixed on 13/06/21)
*Screen-of-FOD make your screen go black after locking. Better disable for now

Awesome
DotOS has a gorgeous quick settings UI. Reminds me of A12. Thanks for sharing
Is it going to be official anytime soon??
Does it come with stock oos camera ?
This looks really good. Hopefully I'll flash it soon. Are there any known bugs as of now?

You should try it out first, instead of doing this kind of questions

Thank you so much for this ROM. Idc if it's official or unofficial if everything is working as intended... The only issues are auto brightness and the AOD not using the proximity sensor, which are also present in the other custom ROM's (I was on yaap before this). Installed this at once as this is so good looking and bonus is that almost everything works. On initial usage it looks stable enough to be daily drived. Hopefully this gets support for a long time.
Thanks. I like the look of DotOs. Works well except for FP which has always been hit and miss an all ROMs it seems.

Are you on stock kernel? This one don't have the latest FOD changes, so updating kernel might break it

Well, I can't flash a whole rom just to check if something works/broken.
You see, i am someone who you might call a camera junkie (not in the case of selfies tho). So small stuffs like these matter a lot before I flash a rom.

Status: STABLE
Current Stable Version: v5.1.1
Stable Release Date: 10-06-2021
good to see DotOS 5 on this device thank you !
i will try it.
Great ROM. The battery life is satisfactory for me. I haven't checked the NFC yet, but the rest works fine. I just can't set my own theme font color, because I get the message: "Monet engine is enabled." How do I turn it off?
@Accuface93 Had the same issue with dotOS for my pixel 3a. It took me forever, but I found where you can disable the Monet Engine:
Settings -> Customization -> The Lab -> Enable Engine (disable it)
Honestly, if they put the toggle in such an obscure place like 'The Lab', tapping or holding the red monet warning should have at least navigated to the location where you can change the setting it complains about.
i cant flash it.... say that '' Updater process ended with Error 1
Error installing bla blabla... Whats wrong?

Same, I have tried flash firmware from miui 12.0 (10 android), from miui 12.5 (11 android) and nothing changed. But I tried exactly firmware (around 70 mb) not a miui rom.
I saw some indian video where man was flashing Evo x on mi 9t and he used some file to decrytion phone.
