Question Barometer showing wrong air pressure - Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Is there any solution to adjust the indicated Air Pressure? My watch is showing 5 hPa too low compared to real air pressure. I cant find any settings to manually calibrate it.

Battery display.

Double two finger taps brings up Battery level on watch face screen. Do not set Direct Access to "ON" it gets it's self in a tangle, had to reboot S3 to gain settings. One bug?
Edit, It did work and now after reset not. Playing around and it's back working! Is it working for others?
This probably depends on the watch face. It's definitely not a stock feature.
Maybe you are taping on a shortcut location on the watch face?
Simply pull down the tray from top and you can view the battery level

Helo! The alwase on display is not working on my gear s3 classic.

I noticed this problem from day one, when I turn the always on display settings ON the watch face enters the ambient mode then goes blank after 15-20sec.
Sometimes the watch face didn't even enter the ambient mode it directly goes blank. Does anyone have this issue ? Any way to fix this problem?
Do you have a tattoo on your wrist?

Try cleaning the heart rate sensor. I think the watch uses it to detect whether the watch is still on your wrist. If it thinks that it's not on your wrist, your screen will go blank rather than going into AOD.
Im right handed so always wore my watches on my left wrist. Turns out the tattoo on my left wrist screwed with the sensors so it never knew I was wearing it. AOD, & heart rate weren't working. Even worst, I set up samsung pay so I had to enter a pin everytime I looked at my watch for notifications! I've since switched my Gear s3 to my right wrist (tattoo free) and havent had any problems. AOD & Heart rate works, and only have to enter pin if I take watch off or fall asleep wearing it.
I have somehow the same problem. I want to use a nato strap though the HR sensor is blocked. Do I have any options to use the AOD without the HR sensor and have the AOD watchfaces available? My preference would be to use the dimmed watchface and not to set the display to 3 and have it always on (using a app).

calibrate altimeter

does anybody know how to calibrate the altimeter on the watch 2? it does work very precise tracking how many meters you ascent or descent while out and about, but knowing your excact altitude depends on barometric presure which is variable and needs calibrating. there is one standard watch face included called 'outside' on the watch which shows pressure and current altitude, but i cant seem to find a way to calibrate the altimeter. anybody any ideas?

Did you ever find a way? I'm at sea level and it tells me I'm -21m

It's not that simple, and it's probably nothing that should be calibrated too. Giving you the altitude, based only on the barometic pressure (which is the sensor that the watch has), it's impossible. You need the local temperature too. Since the watch doesn't have a temp sensor, it relies on the temperature received from the internet to calculate the altitude. So, if the temperature is not accurate enough, it wil show you incorrect altitude "readings".
you can calibrate it by tapping the weather icon on Outdoor watch face ( see https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/faqs/detail/?id=154328&name=HUAWEI WATCH 2 ) .It has nothing (or very little) to do with temperature. Altitude can be directly estimated from pressure, the problem is that air pressure varies over time (cyclone, anticyclone...).
More to the point is how to calibrate the barometer. It reads way too low (by 9mb/hPa).

Question Barometer react to display tap/pressure?

Can someone confirm that this is present on yours X5III? Wondering if this is by design or some fault.
I'm using barometer to log an altitude of my trips..
->
Open app showing barometer data (preferably Phyphox), run pressure test.
Tapping or making pressure to middle part of the display makes pressure go peaking high and low. Like this:
Probably normal, you're changing the internal pressure when you do that.
Means the watertight seal still intact.
Fun fact: this water-tight seal, plus a barometric sensor, has been used by apps to simulate features like the side squeeze Pixels had from series 2 thru 3a.
I tried the same thing on my old X Compact and it does the same thing. Only the sensor on XC has a lot slower readout so it does not show so rapidly and sometimes it smooth it out. Well, need to be more soft on tapping while also recording altitude with barometet ) thx for replies

rotate the AOD? + what is sunlight-booster?

heya good day!
i am working on reusing this second hand xperia 5 ii as a car dash computer.
getting pretty close. I've managed to rotate apple music and edit it's scaling to be fit for landscape use.
i also need to try and get the always on display rotated.
but i cant seem to find the package or whatever is responsible for the AOD
in setting's it's called ambient display. but even with those search tag's i couldn't find the process..
does anyone know what the package name is for sony's AOD? or perhaps know how to modify the AOD to be usable in landscape?
while searching i did find something interesting. a package called "Sunlight-booster"
i did notice whenever i have my brightness maxed. and i then move the phone into a bright light. the display boosts the brightness.
is there a way to get that extra bit of brightness on the normal brightness slider? or to manually activate the extreme brightness?
since this will be mounted in a car's dash. the sensor might never actually face direct sunlight. while the screen could still be hard to see. so I'd like to make it a tad more sensitive.
Thank you in advance!
