Hardly needs help - General Questions and Answers

Hi All,
I locked the bootloader of my redmi 9 power and after the lock device doesn't start and shows "the system has been destroyed".
I can only enter in fastboot. Is there a possibility to fix it?

Once you relock a bootloader a phone only can get booted into its original Stock ROM. Hence re-flash the original Stock ROM.

Assuming that you at least have stock os on the device you can install Samsung Kies on a pc, plug the device in and use Kies to restore your os to stock.
Note: This will not hide the fact that you have altered your phone and your warranty will still be invalid.
As I am new to the forum I am unable to post a link so my recommendation is to google "reinstall stock rom kies".
Good Luck.

Hi mate
Try this
Thanks, guys.

stuck on bootloader mode

I wanted to root my phone using the xda tutorial, everything was going well until i flashed twrp. Minute 5:14 in the tutorial
Then as it is shown in the tutorial I went to recovery mode but nothing happened, it just goes into the oneplus logo and shows the bootloader advice and then goes back to the bootloader.
I used the latest version of everything and checked it was the right model.
How did you flash twrp without having twrp in the first place?
You can only "fastboot boot" it?
i did that, sorry if i'm not clear i've never rooted any phone before
we are going to need more info
what OS version are you on and model of phone (Global, 5G, Tmobo, or EU)
what version of twrp did you try to flash?

Most probable you did not Format data after you flashed the stock ROM. Download the fastboot of the stock ROM you wanna use, unzip it and flash it with MiFlash tool.

Nope...format data is needed (this one when you have to type ”yes”)
Even though I get this message error the phone booted the rom, weird...
So can I try flashing other roms like lineageos using this tool or do I need twrp? Could the wifi error on the other roms be from not properly formatting the folders?

Yeah, you got that error because you did not lock your bootloader, but ROM will work just fine. You can use MiFlash for stock ROMs only.
The Wi-Fi problems are usually related by flashing the custom ROM from the wrong stock firmware and vendor version. Just read the first page (OP) of the ROM you wanna flash and see what version of the stock ROM is needed (most of them ask for 12.0.3.0 version, but some ask for 12.0.2.0 or 12.0.4.0).

If you already unlock. Then flash with fastboot, phone will lock again. And you can instant unlock again because your Mi Account have permission to unlock your device.
