we all know that after installing twrp + multidisableb samsung and rooting samsung, all fingerprint lock, pattern, face lock are disabled, this must be due to samsung???
Can anyone tell me if there is a solution to this? , for example a fingerprint and face replacement from a third party or how to re-enable samsung device encryption??.

I can't unlock my S7 with fingerprint when I lock the device with an app like "Screen off and lock". When i lock the device with the power button unlocking with my fingerprint works fine. When i use an app to lock the phone i have always to enter my pin. Any solutions?
It should work. Maybe the developer is calling an old method or something like it.
I use the built in lock shortcut from nova launcher and fingerprint works like it should.
Sent from my SM-G930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
I tried various apps. None of them worked.
Locking with physical power button: fingerprint unlock works
Locking with app: fingerprint unlock does not work

Pls let me know if you find a solution to this.
You can try this app - Screen Lock and enable its experimental function - "Fix fingerprint unlock not work".

Great! Really works!
Great! Really works smoothly on my Galaxy s8+ Oreo rom (disables that stupid fingerprint limitation ) . Many many thanks.
Hi, I hate having i screenlock, be it password, pattern or fingerprint - it's just to uncomfortable, especially being lefthanded and having a flipcover.
But, I'd still like to use fingerprint authentication in certain apps, like my bank's app. However it doesn't seem possible to activate the scanning functions and registering prints without having a screen lock active.
Does anyone know how to get around this (no root)?
I would also like to know as well. I am using Microsoft Next as my lock screen and I apparently am unable to only use the lock screen with the fingerprint scanner. I keep getting forced to have a pin or pattern which sucks.

You can pair your phone with a Bluetooth device, such as Bluetooth wristband, and enable Smart Unlock then you may bypass the PIN.

Sure, but then I'll have to walk around with some bluetooth thing. I don't want that, I just want to be able to use the fingerprint selectively, without it locking the phone.

Had never heard of Next, now I already love it - thanks!
I think that's not possible. Fingerprint adds a security layer, but if for some reason it's not supported by an app or if for any reason you cut your finger and your fingerprint it's not readable anymore, you must have a backup unlock method.
I have an s6 edge on RR 7.1.2 rooted and I use the fingerprint scanner always, but I would like the fingerprint to work always, I had an app in some rom it was called The Nexus, I could turn that on but I cant find the app, so anyone knows how to make this work? pls
I have an issue on Samsung A515U
I already did factory data reset and upgraded to Android 11, nothing works.
I'm searching for firmware of Android 9 for this model and haven't found it yet.
Can anyone help me pls
Hello!
You can check the Samsung Fingerprint Sensor with Samsung Phone Code.
Just dial (like typing in a phone number) the Samsung Sensor Code: *#0*#
Then tap on Sensor, where you can check Samsung Accelerometer Sensor, Gyroscope Sensor, DL Magnetic Sensor, and Fingerprint Sensor.
In the Fingerprint section, Tap on “Normal Scan” and see which tests it passes and which one fails.
This is just an information, you can't repair or change anything.
Your plan to downgrade to an older android version is NOT a good idea.
They made very important changes (filesystem, security, framework structure....) in the newer versions. You might brick your phone and can't use it anymore.

Good luck!
Thanx for answering
I've already done what you mentioned and didn't work. I checked the sensor dialing that code and it seems to be good
Same issue here... did you get yours fixed yet?
same here, I do factory reset but no fix.
why this happen ?
solution: I went to a service store and they replace the sensor.
The test reports that the sensor is ok (all tests show as PASS), but I still get the "Fingerprint sensor calibration needed" message.
How can I calibrate the sensor? Where can I find the procedure?

Well this looks like a problem faced by most Samsung users after updating their phones. There is no exact way to fix this since Samsung is yet to release a fix to this issue.
But you can try this:
Change your lock, to swipe to unlock, which will delete your fingerprint data. Then set up your fingerprint lock again, rescanning your fingerprints like you did the first time you set your lock screen options.
I had/have the same issue after installing a backup of one A51 to another A51.
All runs fine, but the fingerprint.
Doing a factory reset -> fingerprint is OK and working.
Using the copy on the "wrong" phone -> fingerprint is NOT working
So it's no hardware issue, but I have not found a solution yet
Try to reflash the whole system with Odin and get the software from samfw
Just curious, you know how if you use the wrong fingerprint several times in a row, it will password lock you out? Is there a way to make it password lock you out of the fingerprint scanner if I use a certain finger just once to "unlock" the phone?
It's possible to disable / remove the fingerprint scanner, but the method may vary by wireless service provider, software version, and device model.
