Accessing Huawei Stock Roms from official Huawei Site - Huawei P9 Guides, News, & Discussion

Little Background for starting post
Spoiler: Background Info
Just received a second EVA-L09 P9 today from Ebay for a family member. Third one in house now, they're still pretty good devices for around £40.
The device I received is stuck on A7-Nougat and NRD90M test-keys build number. I found many threads explaining how to fix this issue: rollback->update to intermediate -> update to A6 MarshMellow -> update to A7 EMU5 properly.
But after hours of searching could not find any sources I trusted or with speeds worth downloading.
The best I found was
Download Huawei P9 EVA-L09 firmware 1.53GB Update
Download Stock Rom for Huawei P9 (EVA-L09) 1.53GB
huawei-update.com
and a .ru repository.
TLR;
Received P9 stuck on NRD90M test-key build number - found instructions to fix but needed Stock Roms to rollback and Fix device firmware.
REASON FOR POST
Thought I would start this thread to allow anyone still using or buying P9's to be able to find official download links for their version etc.
I'm Hoping anyone using this thread could update below with any ID's and description of files they come across using the method below.
So You can use this link:
https://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=
followed by an ID and query strings to access the files on Huawei servers.
for example:
https://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91764
will download:
HUAWEI_P9_Firmware_EVA-L09_Andriod 6.0_EMUI 4.1_C432B166_United Kingdom_Channel-Others.zip
Others found:
91623 - HUAWEI_P9_Rollback Package_EVA-L09_from Android 7.0_EMUI 5.0_to Android 6.0_EMUI 4.1_C900B300.zip
91664 - HUAWEI_P9_Rollback_Package_EVA-L09_EMUI5.0+Android7.0 rollback to EMUI4.1+Android 6.0_C900B300.zip
91768 - the beta tester rar for upgrading to the beta A7-EMU5
it's Just a process of elimination, incrementing and decrimenting the IDs
I've also found many links to download-c.huawei.com...... in the forum are mostly broken due to them being unsecure links (http). If you change to https the site works better.

Do you thing it is secure to do this trick?
If not does anyone now how to root an IV100 build?
That's my first Android and my first root so i'm a little affraid to break my phone so i'm asking for help and eventually feedbacks of people who already did it.
Thanks a lot for your help.

[Completed] [Q] Huawei Ascend G6-U251 firmware

Hello everyone,
The question I have is: where can I find the firmware for the Huawei Ascend G6-U251? it seems to be unavailable from the Huawei site and searches online mostly come up empty.
Is it technically possible for another user with the same phone model to extract the firmware from their phone (forgive my ignorance, I am still figuring out how installations and backups work and I am not quite clear yet on it all yet).
Some context about my situation if anyone cares to read through it all and make any suggestion.
Thank you all in advance.
After rooting and messing with my Huawei Ascend G6 I managed to get into a state where the phone is:
- rooted
- I am able to remove annoying bloatware apps
- I am able to move apps to the SD card to avoid the "not enough storage on device to install this app"
That's all nice, but in my enthusiasm I also removed an app called SystemUI.system.apk. I believe this app deals with the status bar, and my phone is now in a state where it starts up and generally works, but there is no status bar and there are no notifications.
I've spent a fair amount of time searching things online to get the status bar working again, but information is scant on this huawei model. There are no custom ROMS that I can install. So I started searching for the Firmware, to restore everything to its original state. The firmware I think is available on the huawei site, look for EMUI Firmware (I'd post the link but as this is my first post xda is preventing from doing so).
Note, one thing that took me a while to figure out is that the Huawei firmware is distributed under the EMUI name (huawei's android brand I think, correct me if I am wrong). I am currently downloading this:
Version: G6-L11/G6-L22/G6-L33,kernel.tar.gz
MD5: 022A448C0D1314F69F4266DE6FEAB4F1
Size: 108.60MB
although it doesn't list the U251 model, I'll give it a shot and see if I can pull just that SystemUI.system.apk file.
Also, for anyone going through the same pain of searching for this firmware or information on updates for the G6 - find the Huawei Ascend G6 group on facebook. It's quite active and seems to have good info on updates for the Ascend G6 (there is another post on xda pointing you to it).
Good luck and thanks.
Hi there,
I'm sorry but I can't find anything related to your question/device.

Well , if it's working, that would be a big news! You should open a dedicated thread here if you are the porter:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-x2/development
describing the source used, the install ways, the known bugs, and the test needed (in english)
thanks
My English is very bad. I can briefly describe how I did it. I took CM13 from Honor 7. Installed on my device.
Works: communication, wifi , gps , bluetooth
The camera is not working . Double tap
Installation requirements:
1 on the phone should stand 6 android no matter what location
2 installed twrp
Installation
1 will be loaded into twrp
2 make backup of your firmware
3 in twrp make wipe date factori reset
4 Flash the archive with firmware
5 if you need gappsy then we sew an archive with them
6 Root is getting a firmware file with super su
7 Loading in the system and going through the initial settings
8 Play market will offer to update super su to the current versionWe update at will and after updating also update binary files
Download
Unofficial_CM13_Port for X2.zip
open_gapps-arm64-6.0-pico-20170309.zip
SuperSU_v2_71.zip
video
thanks for quick reply. So the known bugs are:
- Camera does not work
- double tap does not work
that's it?
Hope other people here will test!
Nice idea to port it anyway, thanks again
once again you should open up a dedicated thread in X2 android developement forum.:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-x2/development
(do you want me to open it?)
you might have a lot of people interested!

Let's leave present thread to its original subject: nougat for X2 (let's remind that the X2 is NOT on the Huawei devices list that will receive nougat... and without processor source, CM14 will not be ported on the Soc)
some updates showed recently, but you have to use huawei firmware finder to find tham and install them:

No Nougat scheduled by huawei for the X2. No lineage OS neither, at least we are lucky enough to have a CyanogenMod 13 port for the X2:

[PROJECT] FIH Firmware Download Site

Hi all,
Few users may have found my topic on DOSPY forum that I provided firmware download for Chinese users via Baidu Netdisk.
Because Chinese users can obtain free 2TB storage space on Baidu Netdisk, it's pretty convenient to provide huge amounts of firmware at once, although download speed is limited without premium account and users outside China may need some tricks to download files from Baidu Netdisk.
Now let me introduce my new project - FIH Android Phone firmware download site.
First, here's the temporary version I placed on my website:
https://fih-firmware.hikaricalyx.com/index_en.html
I've ordered business class Box account for firmware uploading. The benefit is, this can be done with interested users around the world.
The final form I want is a website with standalone domain name similar to lumiafirmware.com by @Cholens , but use Material Design instead of Fluent Design, and can provide multi language and multi cloud drive download choices from Baidu Netdisk (For most Chinese users), Tencent Weiyun (For Xinjiang users), Box (For International users) and Google Drive as backup.
Anyway, with this project, it will be convenient for Nokia enthusiasts in XDA to download firmwares.
Want to join our project and upload firmware?
PM me your Email and I'll invite you to Box.com for firmware and OTA packages upload.
Allowed files:
- Stock firmware, either nb0 or extracted fimwares (with mlf)
- OTA packages from either Googleapis, Internal Azure Server or FIH OTA Server
- Encrypted nbX firmware isn't allowed currently
Without @blackpanther0582 , @heineken78 and other elses, this can be only done in China - or simply impossible.
Thank you very much ????
please work on some custom rom.
Hello. Any news with the download site? The temporary one seems to not be working.
OST error message File dame of rom D1C-562C-0-00CN-B01. Nokia 6 (TA-1000). Can not flash, upload file may be error, please take a look.

Try a different firmware. I think you may have chosen a wrong flash file.

[Factory ROMS] Unihertz Jelly Pro N [7.0 no GMS & 8.1] --Please mirror

I have 2 of these tiny Unihertz Jelly Pro's, a black one and a Blue one, my blue one has an N in the model number . I couldn't find any downloads on their official website for anything other than the ATOM.
After writing an email requesting the stock ROM or it's source and making sure to copy [email protected] I received direct links to download 7.1 with no GMS or OTA, and 8.1.
Not knowing how long these links will stay alive, and I cannot post links here, I have requested android file host
So if you know the google drive url format this info will get you there, otherwise I will post real links if They dont reject my request.

Hello I just purchased a Jelly Pro today and definitely want to upgrade to Oreo. Could you directly send me the link for Oreo? Also, could you inform me on how to update the UI on the Jelly Pro after getting the link?

Thank you Downloading now.
I think all versions are available on a Google drive with fast downloads - you can probably find the links at the Unihertz forum ( can't post them here as a new user. )
