Hi all,
A few months ago I've installed a Developer Preview of Android 6.0 on my Nexus 5. It has worked surprisingly well and today I've updated manually to the latest build (MRA58N). So no root, official recovery...
Android itself works well, but many apps from the Play Store stop with the famous "Unfortunately [App name] has stopped" message. Virtually half of them.
I've tried the usual ways to fix the problem like the cache cleaning and so on, but nothing works. The only way is to uninstall the app and to install it again. Of course, every one needs to be configured next.
What can I do? Of course, I can reinstall and reconfigure every single app, but maybe there is a global fix already available?
[Update]: I continue to investigate the issue because my other Nexus 5 has been updated perfectly. It seems the problem is related to the app permissions as some of them can't access the files, other launch, but can't open any file. Any way to repair the permissions?
Thanks in advance.
Hi, I have Google Play Services (beta tester) at Play Store.
Recently and last days sometimes I received a message system from my Mate 30 Pro 5G that says:
Battery usage details:
Google Services Framework continuously searches for bluetooth devices in the background. Force stop to save power. (in Spanish).
And as you can see I cannot force the stop because the button is not enabled.
Should I leave Play Services Beta tester ??

And I have got the same Google Services Framewrok as you ...
I had a problem with the Google services framework on my Mate 30 Pro.
The Huawei system kept telling me that this service framework drains the battery quickly.
Wanting to see a bit what was happening, I fiddled where I shouldn't have and deleted the data from the Play Services app ... and hat the Mate 30 Pro that I had with Google services installed since December 2019 has gone to hell !!!
My fault for doing what I should NOT do.
Following your last tutorial, and after a factory reset of the phone, when you want to install in STEP-1 the 2 apk files of the Backups (previously uninstalled following your video tutorial, the Mate 30 tells me that the Backup app exists a newer version on my device, and remove it.
And of course, I can't find it, and the Backup Copy doesn't appear in the Settings menu now to continue with the rest of the tutorial.
What can happen to me ??
Thanks and sorry for this
PS: I don't know if the new EMUI 11 version that it has causes it to generate any conflict.
The issue is that with this method, if I delete the Backup app that comes with the Mate 30 Pro, and I try to install the 2 apks that you provide in step-1, the phone won't let me install them because it already tells me that I have one latest version.
And then when I go to Settings, Backup is gone ... because I have uninstalled it as you mark in the tutorial.
ADDED: The message that I get after successfully uninstalling Backup, and installing the first Backup apk is:
Install failed
Reason: You already have a newer version of this application.
I asked to Eloy Gomez at a Spanish forum becuase he teached to me last december, 2019 how to install them following his tutorial but at the moment I don't received any reply.

It seems like on most roms for redmi note 10 ok google doesnt work from sleep. I tired all the methods and even installing google as system app which failed (says no enough space in the partition like priv-app folder and system/app folder ).
I am using elixir rom on android 12. I have tried downloading languages and other methods via the app itself. I was hoping if someone could help me on this I would really appreciate it.
since back in the day on my oneplus one I could just flash gapps via twrp but on android 12 I cant find a Gapps that has ok google enabled. I have been out of the loop for a while so I apologize for any mistakes. Thank you
don't install app as a system app.if you do that you phone will be slow.so don't do that.
you can force stop google assistance app and google app then try again
give all permissions to those two apps
check ok google works or not .if not try uninstall those two apps and reinstall those
if your problem sloved plese give a reaction.
if your problem not sloved please tell me
I have done all of those methods and can you tell my why will it be slow? I had no issues on my note 10 with it as system app.
Hi, my facebook app and messenger app don't want to turn on. But speaking from the beginning.
1: I installed root and magisk,
2: I installed ios emoji module https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...e-messenger-fb-emoji-to-ios-14-emoji.4214993/
3: Everything was fine until today when the system emotes changed to the old ones, these on facebook and messenger were still from ios
4: I deleted the cache from both apps, didn't work
5: I reinstalled both apps, didn't work
6: I reinstalled magisk module, didn't work
7: I reinstalled root and magisk, didn't work and now apps dont want to turn on. They close immediately. Facebook lite and messenger lite work normally.
Any ideas, maybe remove any files or something?

Do a logcat to get reason why the 2 mentioned apps are closing immediately.

One of your modules is causing the problem. I dealt with this today.
Hi,
I was following this amazing guide about debloat your phone https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/ and um I removed some system apps. stuff like xclub and xclone and xaccounts (mostly by infinix) and carlcare and phone master plus some google apps like google play and google play servers and google maps
Now after this, I noticed when I go to system updates and click 'online update' nothing happens like it's broken. usually it leads me to system update application (which is still installed btw) but that do not happen so I'm little unsure which app I removed caused or broke my phone update functionality. so if you could help me determine which package actually I removed caused this or a way to fix it without hard reset and uninstall and reinstall applications again.
Thanks in advance.
Refllash phone's Stock ROM to get rid off of all mods you applied so far.
Removing system apps - what requires Android is got rooted - is never a good idea because they are part of Android OS.
