Hi,
Is there a way to turn off the Network Indicator if mobile data is off? Thanks!
possibly with Tasker and System UI apps

I have this problem since the first day of Samsung Galaxy Pocket purchasing. Not quite sure that it is a hardware, software or network problem. Please suggest if you have any idea.
(Sorry I just notice I put wrong model name in Title, the phone in question is Samsung Galaxy Pocket (S5300) not Galaxy Plus).
My SGP data (HSPA) will stop (no movement of data icon in status bar, no network connection response from all network relate application) after I enable packet data and set network mode to GSM/WCDMA (this will make SGP to clamp on 3G most of the time) and leave it for 8-10 hours. My mobile network operator operate both GSM and WCDMA/HSPA with same network code and frequency band.
I tried to upgrade firmware (Stock), claim a new phone, flash custom ROM (Hyperion 1x and 2x) but still got the same problem.
Anyone having same problem or have any suggestion?

Hello,
after the last Droid Ultra Update to 4.4.4 I've started having this weird behavior. I'm a T-Mobile, locked bootloader.
When I'm connected to a WiFi network, the phone status bars shows signal strenght + the LTE or HSDPA symbols
When I'm NOT connect to a WiFi network the LTE or H(SDPA) icon goes away... I can do phone calls but mobile data is indeed disabled. I've double checked all the settings menu entries and data should be enabled - also the APN settings are fine ... even so the LTE/H icons appears only once I connect to WiFi.
It' driving me crazy.
Thanks.
When you turn on hotspot 4GLTE logo shows up, right? Unfortunate for everyone. It is some problem with the system which Verizon has populated the build.prop to disable the data outside of Verizon. Nothing could be done, as far as I could tell, until root is achieved (bootloader unlock).
How can I access the Note 5 advanced wi-fi settings? I have the Verizon Note 5, but I'm located permanently outside of US. My old Samsung Galaxy S4 Int. sees like 2-3 times as many Wi-Fi networks around and it has a switch in WiFi settings of setting the WiFi region. Where can I access such setting on the Verizon Note 5?
I've tried *#0011# but it shows code no accessible.
I'm on N920VVRS3BQA1.
Hello,
i have a problem with my samsung 3g network. By defaul samsung has LTE/3g/2g, 3g only, 3g/2g and 2g only automatic switching profiles. Is it possible to add a new LTE/2g profile without 3g switching?

i could swear that i saw apps that switch network preferences for you like that automagically. Look for an app called "network switcher" it has a green circle and a cartoony image of a padlock and the 2g/3G logos
