Galaxy S6 Unlock to any UK carrier. - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
I have a routed Galaxy S6, (SM-G920F), and I'm looking for a way to unlock it to any UK carrier.
I'm happy to flash a new ROM if that's what it takes.
I don't know what the carrier is that it's currently locked to.
Thanks in advance.

Locked botloader for G930A/G930V variants?

Hi everyone!
I'm planning on importing one S7 from the US since in Europe we just have the Exynos version. After checking the bands for each variant, the ones that matches the Spanish ones are the G930A (AT&T, Cricket) and G930V (Verizon). I would like to know if there is any of them that have the botloader unlocked.
Thank you in advance!
most likely no. Verizon and att lock bootloaders hard.

[Completed] Need an information on Galaxy S5 (G900F) upgrade

I bought a Galaxy S5 (G900F- International Model) two years ago. It was locked by carrier. I can't use any network sim from my country. So I spend some money to unlock the carrier (Country Unlock - This is what we name it). It was&is on Android Kitkat. Now I planned to upgrade it to latest marshmallow from official update using Odin and it's files. I just want to know Will it lock the carrier again?

T-mobile - Galaxy S7 - SM-G930T- Android 6.0.1 - Desimlock and root questions

Hello,
I live in France and I just bought from USA this phone : T-mobile - Galaxy S7 - SM-G930T- Android 6.0.1 - Baseband G930TUVU4APK1, to use with my european sim card.
Sorry many questions, I'm lost completely, between all the forums and different answers.
It seems even if I buy an unlock code it will not work, with T-mobile the only way to unlock is from the T-mobile device unlock app?
Do you think I can root it or flash a rom to remove all the T-mobile things and maybe I could unlock with a code?
If yes I can only install the roms of Sm-g930T I can find on sammobile website? (looks like only Tmobile firemware) or others for galaxy s7
Or what could I do to unlock my phone?
I'm looking on the forums and I tried to root it but didn't work with CFroot.
It seems more complicated with my usa version because from what I understand the bootloader is locked
Thanks a lot

If you install G930U firmware from sammobile it will still lock the SIM. I have done this with my G930T phone. T-Mobile got the patent of their SIM locking technology which they introduce in Qualcomm phone S7, S7E, S8 & S8+. It is completely different method from other carriers' locking method. Till now there is not unlocking method other than server unlock which cost you $150.
I was afraid about the server unlock, so expensive..
I was hoping if I put a firmware with nothing about Tmobile, and then maybe it will ask for a normal unlock code like on other phones and that is like 20or30$.
Thanks for your reply

you CANT use att unlocked s8+ on verizon, it only works on GSM carriers. if you want to use verizon, sell the att s8+ and get Verizon s8+
i have unlocked att s8+ when i put in Xfinity mobile simcard which uses verizon towers. my unlocked att s8+ got no signal.
Oreo is out for at&t users anyway, look in the guides section. Apply update from SD. Easy and smooth.

walmart j337tl unlock/flash prime firmware

I recently received my j3 Luna pro from Walmart and checked the specs, of which seem to be the exynos.
is there a legit free way to get this unlocked so I can use it on tmobile, and if there isn't can I flash the j327t or j327u firmware onto it?
any help would be appreciated!!

Look at the Build number, specifically at the letter after J327(?) which would identify what state your device is in. The t stands for T-Mobile (GSM a global phone) the U and the W are I believe from Canada and are carrier unlocked. You should be able to call 1-800-T-mobile and they may unlock it if you will use their network.
