I'm sure you guys will find me real dumb here, but - how do you get texts to vibrate?? Android 11/One is driving me nuts and default, stock app just doesn't vibrate at all regardless of what settings I've played with.....
Lads and ladettes, could anyone chime in if they have this issue or is it just me?

i have had this problem since i got my touch pro....i have a .mp3 as my notification for SMS and its about a min long. after i read a message, respond, and close it the .mp3 keeps playing..i would prefer the sound to stop after i open the message.....is there some tweak or perhaps program that can resolve this?? Any responses are welcome and thanks in advance
im guessing no one else is having this same problem....come on devs im sure there is some way to resolve this...im sure there are a few people with SMS notifications that are longer than a min....on my old MOTO a1200 i culd simply push the volume togggler either up or down and be able to silence the ringer immediately..and this phone is far more advanced
I am guessing most people just have shorter notification sounds. I never made mine longer because i never thought there was a way for any device to cut off the sound.

hello everyone, I am new here and doesnt know a lot about root/rom stuff.
so i got someone to do a full root on my sprint htc hero, decided to change rom to crunchysoft 2.1.6. then later updated to 2.1.7.
I am having problems with ringtones, I seem to not have any other options for my default ringtones.
when i go to settings - sound n display - phone ringtone = my options are just "silent" but it actually makes a ringing sound.
how can i get other ringtones? also, when i get a text msg, its just vibrates. i already when to the setting on the sms and tried to change the notification sound but it too only has "silent" as an option.
any help is appreciated. thanks
lbrwrx, I am having the same problem. I just flashed the csrom last night and couldn't get my notification sound to work. Also, phone ringer just has one ringer option. I love this rom, but I need sound for my text messages. Anyone?
Rookie here too trying to learn more. Have you tried htcevohacks.com? they do other phones too.
I still couldnt find anything. I am also experiencing a lot of forced re-boot with this rom. Im gonna try to look for another rom or go back to stock.

Whenever I make a call to someone, they always complain of feedback on their end. I have taken off the case and it helps some but there is still some feedback/echo during the call. I turned off voice privacy and suppression to see if corrects it but it does seem to do much.
Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?
Anyone experiencing this bug? I use DND mode a lot, for example at night when I want all calls to come through, and not messages of any kind. When I set it this way (calls from everyone, messages none), and turn DND on. It after sometime changes these setting spontaneously in "calls: none, messages: all"). This is really annoying, as I need calls to come through at night for my work, some are urgent.
Anyone sees this behaviour also, and knows what causes this?
I will try to disable Renovate ICE 2.0, which could cause this (but I do not expect this to be the reason).

I've got only 1 issue with my OP7 pro.
I get text on Verizon no issue I did the needed CDMA-less nonsense. But I'm not getting notification sounds when I get a text.
Emails are fine and messenger works but with stock message app or the messages+ app that I prefer I get no sound.
Yes the switch is on ring mode all the way down.
Yes I've gone in to settings and set a custom text sound and still no luck. Media and ring volume all the way up. Anyone else have this issue?

call Verizon again they didn't do it right the first time they did the same thing to me
Oh I misread I wasn't getting text messages when they did it wrong with me I don't know about the sound issue
Figured it out my stupid do not disturbed was on.
Found it on 2018 forum post for the OP6 lol I've NEVER used it. With the toggle on side of phone idk why there's even that option. I guess for automation it's a decent option to have. I was getting very frustrated. Funny and dumb issue.
