I've been messing with magisk and EDxposed installer onmy phone and acidentally wiped the imei from it (the current imei is all 0's).
Can someone help me fix this?
Unless you've made an EFS backup there's no other way than reflashing stock firmware.

Same Problem here
Hi I'm using the Galaxy J700H phone its like 2mos old, and have the exact same problem, so please can someone help? My problem is, I think also is my IMEI number? When i dialed *#06# on my phone my IMEI is 350000000006 and FTW that's not even my IMEI anymore, I have the original IMEI number here backed up but i tried everything, step by step. But sadly nothing worked out. I used this sim card in all of my phones and lastly when i wiped out my phone and flashed custom rom in it, then this happened, then i decided to flash the stock rom that has been downloaded from the sammbobile.com website, after that nothing happened. My phone always displays EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY.. pls help
i had corrupted efs partition i took it to a local repair shop they fixed it. it was rooted and downgraded to 5.1.1 and the imei was changed,..right after that i backed up my efs, flashed official 6.0.1using odin and then i flashed xtrestolite rom.but in xtresolite rom it does not shows imei while i press *#06# but it shows imei in about device/status/imei information and there is no issues like emergency call only.i tried flashing my backed up efs partition but the result was same. now the question is it fixable ? and can i restore my original imei as i am planing to sell the device.
It's just a ROM problem. If you want to sell the device, just install stock ROM.
I dunno, I have XtreStoLite and *#06# shows IMEI & S/N. Don't think it's a ROM problem. Did you ask guys at repair shop about it?

I flashed a TWRP MOAR backup, 1 day after that, my carrier blocked my phone, they said the TAC (first 8 imei's numers) was from another model, a samsung galaxy prime (I have an SM-N920P) so they blocked that imei. The point is I didn't do anything to change that imei, I just made a full backup and restore (including EFS folder). Any way to get my original imei? I already tried flashing the backup again. I don't have any other copy.
Hi folks,
I tried to install MicroG-LineageOS14.1 https://download.lineage.microg.org/a5y17lte/ but noticed that SIM card, IMEI are not recognized with this ROM.
So I decided to going back to stock Android8 Oreo, but now, SIM card is recognized, but I don't have any IMEI number if I call *#06# or by looking in phone information.
What can I do to recover the IMEI ? I have a Nandroid backup of LineageOS 14.1, maybe /efs (if it's the good partition) have the good informations ?
(I know my real IMEI number)
Any hint to recover my phone please ?
Regards
OK, figured myself by searching, reading, digging a lot:
