I've been wondering if there's any way to run stock MIUI camera app on PixelPlusUI. Yes, I've tried ANX camera, and it did not work.
.what about g-Cam?? ,what do you think?
Is there any camera app that allows 48M pixels?

So of now im using the latest baked rom and I think it is doing good so far. My only issue is that after taking 1 picture the camera messes up and the only way to fix it is to reboot my camera every time. This can get pretty annoying so i was wondering if it was at all possible to just install a tw camera and gallary with this rom or any aosp 4.2 build in general?
Nope. Touchwiz needs touchwiz to run properly in a nutshell. There are many options you can try from the play store though.
I'm using baked and have no problems with the camera... did you try reflashing ?
So does anyone know which files are needed from the new camera app to use them on a non stock ROM? Kinda like how we could get HDR+ back on ROM's that didn't use the stock Google camera. For example SlimKat.
Any way I can get the stock camera software after installing a custom ROM?
edit: It's in the damn app store
Been using Xiaomi.eu since unlocking my bootloader, but i really like stock/vanilla Android interfaces. Is there a Custom ROM with Working Stock MIUI Camera and Gallery? i think stock MIUI Camera and Gallery are the only parts of MIUI that i miss when using custom ROM. Appreciate the feedback!
look for custom ROMs with preinstalled ANX camera, but I doubt that there is on also with MIUI gallery...

Click to collapse
thanks for the suggestion.
yeah i think at this point, i'll gave up the gallery apps.
Does a modded stock ROM exist like this? Would like to keep the stock camera intact.
Thanks in advance!
I'll rephrase the question...
Is there a custom ROM out there that has a working stock oneplus camera app for 8T that utilizes all of the megapixels?
Interested, too, but mostly for microG and yes also for camera.
