Hello, I bought car (Peugeot 307, 2005 - restyle) with already installed px5 headunit. The seller gave me a link where he bought it: https://www.erisin.com/erisin-es788...seat-peugeot-307-dab-gps-dvd-p0178-p0178.html
"(...) 7" All-in-One Design for old VW Cars with built-in CanBus Decoder..."
Car has no working steering wheel control (no external canbus decoder), but the auction on aliexpress says it has Build-in canbus decoder. I tried to activate it in Car Settings. I plug can-H and can-L wires into big black plug (numbered as 17 in the photo), taking schematic from this auction (where my friend with skoda superb bought the very same looking headunit);

My question: is there a chance to run it without external canbus decoder? How to do so?
Is it an MTCD
it is MTCE unit

I just bought a Belsee PX5 Octo Core Android Head Unit for my 2016 Hyundai Veloster. It has a custom harness made for the car. It works great, except there is no sound. The backup camera works, the steering wheel controls work. Everything works....except sound. I am trying to work with Belsee via Email, but we all know how that goes. I am wondering if any of you fine people might have any suggestions that I can try.
I have gone into Factory Settings menu and changed the CANBUS to Hyundai &KIA, still no sound. The Veloster requires a signal over the CANBUS to turn the factory Amp on and produce sound.
Thanx in advance.
what did the reseller suggest when you contacted them for support? Was that to change CanBus settings?
Hi, i have the same problem after upgrading from px3... Did you resolve the problem?
I now have sound..had to swap to a harness with a CANBUS controller on it. But, the EQ does not work, the rear speakers are super low, and there is that electrical whine from the engine. But at least there is sound.
Hi I am new here but I also had the same issue with my Nissan qashqai and the Bose system. I have found that on my vehicle in the Belsee power harness that pin 1 was not present which is the 12v positive that feeds the Bose sound system. I would suggest you get a wiring diagram for the cars head unit and check to see if this is the problem.

The steering wheel controls are not working. I loaded the steering wheel keys app. The app does not show any key as being pressed/detected.
There are 4 plugs on the Dasaita harness. There are two connectors in car plus antenna.

The Nissan medium plug and the low plug are the same. Medium plug has more wires in it.
I connected only these two plugs from Dasiata harness to the nissan car harness

What is your HU model number?
Check under Factory settings/canbus for a suitable option for your car; based on some Dasaita units wiring information your car need a decoder named CB008 if you previously had the default 7" screen unit
Usually you need a canbus decoder box to retain SWC controls or maybe you need connect wires named KEY1, KEY2, KEY GND to steering wheel for use controls.
Hi
Thank you for replying. Mr car did not have the 7 inch screen (NAV).

I got the Dasaita radio with the CB011 option.
I have this OEM radio (LHS)

I tried changing the canbus option to number 37(on the radio) but this does not work.
Do you know which of the plugs need to be connected?(see original post)
On a different note. I put the OEM radio back into the car.
It now says "Locked, contact dealer"
What do I do to get this working?

Hi All,
What is the best way to update the CANBUS clock on my car's instrument panel?
The clock on my instrument panel is apparently controlled by the head unit over the CANBUS. Now that I have an Xtrons PX5 MTCE GS unit head unit, the clock on the dash board just stays at 12:00pm. I drive a Ford Mondeo MK4.
My old PX3 Eonon unit could send radio station data to the instrument panel, but the new Xtrons one sends nothing.
I was thinking of a USB->CANBUS adapter on the head unit and writing an Android script to push the current time to the instrument panel, but wanted to see if anyone's got any better ideas first.
From my limited understanding, the CANBUS adapters supplied with the head units are tied to the MCU's and are solely designed to transfer steering wheel keys - the fact my previous Eonon unit did confuses me..
Many thanks for any input,
Tim
I have a HU that is from the manufacturer Autonavigo (purchased from Amazon), it does not have a 100% compatible canbus with the buttons of my vehicle and at the time it sold me one that has 75% compatibility but some buttons on the steering wheel and some functions the vehicle does not. By chance, one day, I found a CANBUS BOX decoder on Aliexpress that is 100% compatible with all the functions of my car (confirmed with the seller) and I am tempted to buy it but the seller does not comment on whether it would be compatible with my HU.
I have a high level of electronics and I have observed that the MOLEX connector that this CANBUS decoder has is exactly the same (even the same number of pins). It has the typical CANBUS + and CANBUS- and other power supplies from the CANBUS box. The question I have is if the pins match, I would like to know what pinout these boxes have exactly and the possibility of adapting it to a HU from another manufacturer. What do you think about it? THx
Every PX5 and PX head unit can work with a canbus decoder from different manufacturers. You have to go to Android Settings > Car settings > Factory settings (password: 126) > Canbus tab > Select the manufacturer of your canbus decoder and the car model.
I have a PX5 head unit with a canbus decoder from "Simple", and when it broke, I replaced it with "Raise" and it works.
I recommend to review the list of supported canbus decoders in your head unit in the Factory settings, before purchasing a new one.
Hi everyone
I have a facelift 2010 Lexus IS250 F Sport, I've had some large success installing this XTRONS head unit for it and I am largely satisfied with it. I am however having an issue with getting Steering Wheel Controls to work with the head unit.

XTRONS PMA10ISLS is a 10.1" large screen car stereo with customized face panel and optimized CANbus Decoding for Lexus. It supports CarAutoPlay, built-in DSP, PIP mode enabled ,Dual Theme, Instant Rear Vision and so on.

This is the unit I purchased, alongside a special wiring harness so that I could use it with my vehicle as its a facelift Navi.
With the default CANbus setting on my head unit, only Volume control seems to work and the phone call buttons and voice command buttons are mapped to functions like Radio and Hey Google but I cannot programme these on the app. With an alternative CANbus setting I get skip track functionality but I get different AC Controls and lose access to my factory amp settings.
The original wiring harness I got for the headhunt has not been used at all as I was instructed to usr the special harness, and that original harness had a CANBUS decoder. XTRONS claim that I am unable to programme the SWC due to the CANBUS needing to decode it, although I have played around with the settings and selected various different CANBUS settings.
Would anyone be able to advise me on how I can get the SWC working, would it involve plugging the CANbus decoder into the head unit? There is a 12 pin connection spare at the back but I am unsure if that would make the difference or not.
