How to uninstall Viper4Android on LineageOS 18.1 / OnePlus 8T? - OnePlus 8T Questions & Answers

Hello,
I've recently installed Viper4Android - soon after installing the driver it provided - then rebooted, my sound stopped working. Phone doesnt ring, doesnt play any sound file, doesn't play sound in youtube, no sound at all.
I've uninstalled Viper4Android and unfortunately it seems that either the driver is still installed? Something is preventing my stock sound from working. I have AudioFX 2.2.0 / org.lineageos.audiofx app installed. I've already tried disabling - rebooting, enabling - rebooting, still no sound.

[Q] CM10.2 and DSP / Equalizer App

Hi!
I upgraded to the latest stable CM to get rid of the annoying upgrade toast. The updating of TWRP and flashing itself went smoothly.
But now I can't get either DSP Manager or my beloved Equalizer App to work. There is no error, but neither is there any change in the sound when I enable them. Tried uninstalling Equalizer App and running only DSP Manager but no luck. Then I read on random forums that it might only work on Apollo. (I use DI.fm), but not even in Apollo would it refurbish my sound.
Any 2 cents on this?

viper4android on nougat roms?

Hello guys,
Has anybody successfully using viper4android on nougat (AICP, XOSP, Commotio, Lineage, Mokee) ?
I installed, driver status says everything is ok but it is not processing. No effect whatsoever.
if you use AICP you can install viper4android for magisk, since AICP have magisk preinstalled. Viper is working fine here.
Did you tried the Arise sound system instead. It works for me.

How'd you make it work? I'm on AICP and the last time I tried swan song (forgot the exact version) I needed to turn viper off and on in order for it to actually process the effects on the track. I need to do it everytime I skip a track. It sounded really good but it was beyond annoying to do the whole turning on and off process each time I skip a track.

It just works out of the box for mee for the headset. Just noticed that if I want to use both headset and speaker,it cuts it for headset.
Use ViPER4Arise Aroma package and install everything one-by-one (first viper4android core, skip everything, reboot, install next package (eg icesound), reboot, install next package.... worked for me like that.
If it doesnt work in eleven/stock media player just use the esira player from newest ViPER4Arise (i have no effects on eleven but esira works fine)
I'd also recommend u to not install am3d as it produces processing errors for me (viper says everything is fine but driver isn't processing)
(For MIUI: remove MusicFX) Download zip package and install via TWRP:

How can I get a working Dolby Atmos Mod on Stock 8.1?

I have Magisk with Stock Recovery and I receive a security update today - but the strange part is, the installation failed!
The only mod I have is the Dolby Atmos Mod by guitardedhero and SelinuxModeChanger on "permissive". Before the OTA, I went back to "enforcing" ...
Okay... I flashed the whole Factory Image without wipe my Data and after this, Google Play Store says "Device is not certified" ahhh
Also after that, I wiped the Play Store and Google Play Store Cache/Data, also wiped the Cache/Dalvik with temp TWRP and get it "certified" ...
But I can't get a running Dolby Atmos Mod, always FC, before that it still worked with SelinuxModeChanger on "permissive" ... any suggestions for a good "systemwide Equalizer for a good Bass on the Pixel Speakers?
Thanks!

[GUIDE] [All devices] [NO ROOT/ROOT] [Lollipop-Pie] How to record internal audio

Since Android 7, only Samsung device were able to record internal audio. But today I found a way to record internal audio with probably any Android 5 and above (tested on op5t 8.1 and 9.0).
Update: MIUI 10 (Android 8) have an inbuilt screen recorder that can record internal sound, but I don't know about MIUI pie.
It works on rooted and on some non rooted (confirmed working on OnePlus, Xiaomi, and few Moto) devices.
Install ScreenCam Screen Recorder (It's open-source!).
You can choose between 3 audio recording method :
-Mic : only mic
-Internal audio (Default source) : internal audio + mic, no root, confirmed working by dev on OnePlus, Xiaomi, and few Moto
-Internal audio (System app, R_Submix) : internal audio only, but need to be rooted and install a magisk module
Instructions for Internal audio (System app, R_Submix):
-Download and install the magisk module (latest stable worked for me)
-Reboot
-Enjoy!
Alternative(root, Nougat-Pie):
Method 1:
You need to be rooted
Install Internal Audio Plugin, click enable then reboot.
Method 2:
You need to be rooted with magisk
1. install App systemizer from magisk repo and reboot
2. Install Internal Audio Plugin
3. With Terminal Emulator , enter the following lines :
:su
:systemize
Choose "Systemize Installed Apps (Enter label)" , enter "com.mobzapp.internalaudioplugin" then choose priv-app and reboot.
Then you can record your screen with internal audio with RecMe or you can stream with internal audio with ScreenStream. Don't forget to set audio source to internal sound.
If it says your device isn't compatible :

Okay Guys I Finally Got The Solution For Android Internal Recording!
This Is A Temporary Fix/Solution But As Said Something Is Better Than Nothing!
Okay Guys So You Have To Follow All The Steps In The Guide Except The App Systemizing Part It's Pretty Simpe After Enabling The Audio Plugin And Configuring The Audio Source To (Internal Only) You Have To Make Sure That You Open REC Me App Right After It. I Mean In Recent Tab First Open Internal Audio Plugin And Then Open The REC Me App One Below The Other Or Whatever You're Recent Style Is It Just Has To Be One After The Other. 1) Internal Audio Plugin Then REC Me App And Start You're Recording. Then It Should Work Perfectly Fine That's All I Got Hope This Helps!
Peace

But sadly internal audio plugin process is sometime killed by android so you can't record for long time and that's why sometimes sound recording suddenly stop. At the moment the only solution is to downgrade :

Guys I Have Seen In The Lastest Version Of REC Me App That The Recorded Video Slows Down And The There No Sound In The Video For This I Came Up With This Old Version Of The App Which Supports Lag Free Recording And Internal Audio Just Follow My Previous Step's With This App And Every Thing Should Be Fine!

Go Ahead And Install It Now And Let Me Know If It Worked For You.
And Make Sure Not To Change The Storage Path In The Prefrence.
And Once You Have Configured Internal Audio In The Audio Settings Do Not Change It Even After Restarting App Shows Only Normal Option Like File, Mic ETC Once It's Selected It Should Work Perfectly Fine!

Holy hell it worked! Thanks for this. I've been trying to figure out for hours how to screenrecord using internal audio. High rated apps from playstore failed me but this.
Finally! Oh, thank you, man. ? Have waited so long. You're amazing.
it works, but how do I keep the internal audio during the recording, for example while I'm playing, I can not hear the game

Retry after reboot, you can check if you can only disable the app it means it's done
And if it still fail contact the creator of this magsik module
EDIT : don't work anymore on Pie.
It works, and you can keep internal audio but it's heavily delayed and a bit distorted...
Wish azscreenrecorder supported this plugin

It says failed but the internal recording does work

What is the fix for the heavy distortion?
Worked for me! but audio is popping a bit. The delay is expected but the audio popping is a little annoying
I already toggled the keep playing internal audio, but I can't hear a thing when I try record. I'm using OnePlus 5T. What should I do?

[V4A] Fix for some Samsung devices

Hello,
if you see this you probably have problems using Viper4Android on a samsung device.
Problem: Viper4Android is not working, no difference in sound.
Fix: Download "Titanium Backup" on google playstore, search for "SoundAlive" in titanium backup, uninstall it.
Should work without restarting, if not restart then try if V4A works.
Hope i could help. Fixxed everything for me.
