Hello people. I have downgrade my phone with hisuite proxy, from 11 to 10.
I didnt look good, and instead of n29 i have installed n39. on my phone is writen nx9 model so i was belived that is ok to install n39.
I have installed that version, install GMS, was working ok. I didnt look at charge, but fast charge and pc connect not working anymore.
I try to connect the phone to pc, to reinstall the right version. but no chance, i have try eRecovery, not working also,
The only thing i can access tru update otg.
I have download dload n29 emui 11, but when i try to install is not working. what can i do now to come back to normal.
to install n39 emui 11?
Many guys tried to change to nx9 after that from this point but no success. It wasn't tryed to update to the last Emui11 of n39, maybe the connection to the computers will be activated again. After that use HiSuite proxy to change to nx9.
so, should i wait? and use like this with no fast charge? or try to update emui 11 from n39
You have no alternative. If I were you I would try to update.

More than that? I told what I would do. I don't tell what to do. In fact, I dont know if the update is possible to EMUi11 n39. But you can try.

Hey man. I'm in the same boat. Unfortunately, I don't think we are able to downgrade to a lower version. So, we are stuck without Google. The only negative of not having GMS is the delay or no notifications coming in at all. Hopefully apps will be updated to work well with HUAWEI notification eco system.

Well, after multiple attempts using different firmware versions, the update fails after it has reached the 100% download. Have no clue what else to do. Firewalls are off, antivirus off. Anybody?

I followed this guide: Make sure those selections matches your phones need (region, etc..). If they don't match,..you know what might happen.

BUT like I mentioned at a different thread. If downgrading to 10, Googlefier Wouldn't work. Also, I had lost USB connection and fast/super charge. But I think downgrading to a lower 11 should be ok. But I don't know. If you loose that, just upgrade again.

I did the downgrade from 11.0.0.0 to 10.1.0.135, region c605, i already updated in OTA to 11.0.0.194 and still no usb

just literally done latest ota update to 194 was 4.8gb in size and after reboot mtp working and all apps are fine ie google apps
did anyone find a solution to this problem without having to update via OTA?

Never. Huawei made changes on the firmware to dont downgrade anymore to 10.1 and so. If the downgrade will be available again in HiSuite, I think it would be till this version (19x), not bellow.

Sorry, the only solution for me was the update via OTA, after some updates the USB comes back normal

i´ve downgrade my P40 Pro C432 from 11.0.0.196 to 10.1.0.176 via the last HisuiteProxy and Hisuite 10.1.0.550 with the right Preload and Cust. The USB connection works without problems.
After that you could downgrade to 121 or 131 via Dload Method

I have a question you use Hisuite 10.1.0.550 to downgrade EMUI 11 specifically 11.0.0.196 to 10.1.0.176 as far as I know, Hisuite 10.1.0. i have done many times report cant support installing on phone, how did you downgrade from EMUI 11 to EMUI 10 with Hisuite 10.1.0.550 please let me know thanks,

I have install the Hisuite 10.1.0.550 on my PC. Then i connect the P40 and Hisuite. Usualy he installed an version of the Hisuite App on the Phone. If the connention is ok, then you couldt close the Hisuite on the PC and on the P40. After that you start the Hisuite Proxy and look on the firmfinder.ml site for the correct base, cust and preload Firmware and press on add Rom. After that, press setup on the Hisuite Proxy and an log console is opening. After he is finishing, in the Console writes, that you could proceed with the installation. Then open the Hisuite on you pc, connect it with you P40 an press on the update button. In this time in the debug console of the Hisuite Proxy must you seen some links for the Firmware.
Sometimes you need activate the USB Debugging on the phone. Usually i reset the phone before the downgrade and set up it only with my wifi settings.

Why don't you downgrade to 11.0.0.196 to 10.1.0.121 or 131 but have to downgrade to 10.1.0.176 and then use dload to downgrade, instead of directly downgrade on Hisuite

Because you lost the USB connectionand fastcharge when you directly downgrade to .131 from EMUI 11.
When you downgade from 11.0.0.193 to 10.1.0.176 with Hisuite and Hisuite Proxy the USB Connection will remains.

How do you know if you downgrade from 11.0.0.193 to 10.1.0.176, the USB will still work or is it a coincidence when you choose the downgrade version?

Because i have done this kind of downgrade a couple of times and the USB Connection works after it.
The downgrade was official avalible till 11.0.0.176 Firmware via Hisuite. At this time Hisuite makes an downgrade to the 10.1.0.176 and then you could downgrade to .121 or .131 via Dload or Hisuite Proxy. That is the reason, why i tested it and the result was an working USB Connection.

Wich Firmware do you will install? i think it is the Modell LIO-L29 or an other?
Hi guys and girls.
I downgraded to 10.1.0.131 to install GMS, then upgraded to 10.1.0.176 (C432E7R4P1) and I can't upgrade further. "Your software is up to date". I lost PC connectivity, so HiSuite and HiSuite Proxy isn't an option for me. eRecovery also doesn't work - "Get package info failed".
Firmware finder app also not helping, "Most likely the firmware was removed from the server".
Please help me to get it to EMUI 11 to get back fast charging and PC connectivity. At this point I stopped caring for GMS, I'll just use the phone as is for a few months and then get something with Google Certification.
I've got a 256GB USB and a OTG USB-A to USB-C cable.

You need to try using the Support app (now called MyHuawei) , go to support options and tap on the "Software update" button from there. It will perform a no-cached force recheck option and launch the software updater for you. Try it five to ten times.
If it still says it is the latest version then you need to wait a few days. It is well-known that after a downgrade, the latest version is not offered to prevent accidentally upgrading back to something you came off from. But it will eventually be offered again, there is just a grace period.
In the event it is not offered after a few days, and as you do not currently have USB, then you need to obtain a NanoMemory card and use dload method to load a sufficient EMUI 11 firmware (EMUI 11.0.0.151 as that is the EMUI10->11 upgrader fw).

These will not work in your current condition. You need a NanoMemory card OR a Type-C to Type-C USB cable. There are reports of successful USB connections with Type-C to Type-C cables.

NO! DO NOT DO THAT! Erase this thought immediately. P40 Pro+ differs in hardware, and has a separate identifier. Do not ever try to load Pro+ firmware on your Pro, because you will either brick it immediately or lose a portion of your camera functions, including the zoom camera, and eRecovery won't be able to help you.

You don't need it to be bootable.
All you need is a FAT32 filesystem, an USB OTG cable, a USB flashdrive, create a folder called "dload" and put update.app into there, and launch recovery update mode.

That's why I asked about the Plus software. I just tried with C-C cable that I got with the Pixel 6 Pro I bought today, only charging.
I also tried My Huawei, it just brings me to the default update page in the settings and says that I'm up to date.
Is there any solution to help me? I have got P40 Pro and I wanted to flash GMS and of course i had to do downgrade. By big mistake I flashed ROM from P40 Pro+ (ELS-LGRP6-OVS 10.1.0.136). At this moment my phone is turning on, but rebooting after 30-40 seconds. WiFi is working, but i havent IMEI in settings (empty place)...
Did I broke my phone?

So i can not flash the Version 10.1.0.131 to install Google Services?
OTA i update to 11.0.0.230 and get my usb connection and fastboot back. Then downgrade with proxy to 10.1.0.154 = works
But how i come from this Version to 10.1.0.131 to install Google.
With 10.....154 and 10.....176 odb isnt working.

Hello, I need help. I have a Huawei Mate Xs and I'm currently on EMUI 12.0.0.290. A month ago, I downgraded to EMUI 11 and then to EMUI 10. Now, after a month, when I try the same downgrade (absolutely the same version of the system, using the same method), the lowest I can go is EMUI 11.0.0.168. When I try to roll back to EMUI 10, any version, the device goes into bootloop and nothing helps (delete cache memory, factory reset). The only way is System Recovery via HiSuite Proxy on EMUI 11 and that's it. Has anyone else had a similar problem and is there a chance that Huawei will put some sort of ban on it with the 12.0.0.290 update

i solve it ,thanks badmania
the problem was when i downgrad to emui 11...186 i lost usb connection and i try many versions ( 11 or 10) to downgrad but no results so i update it to emui 11...260 then i try with Hisuite it worked to downgrad to emui 10....131
and after installing GMS i upgrade it to emui 12 step by step by wifi
now every thing good
I bought a second hand ELS-N29 that is on EMUI 12 and the previous owner told me they flashed it. I noticed that vibration is weak except the indicator that you've reached the maximum/minimum volume, in that case the vibration strength is normal, and USB connection isn't recognized on either PC or phone and SuperCharge isn't working. When I put my phone in fastboot mode, however, the PC recognizes it and when I enter system recovery on HiSuite while the phone is in fastboot, the phone recognizes that I've entered recovery mode. So I'm thinking it's a software issue and not a hardware issue. Is there anyone that can help me with this? eRecovery didn't help. I can't seem to find C185 full OTA anywhere on the internet to try dload (I have an NM card).
If reset to factoy settings doesnt help you, it should be a hardware issue. Also be sure that you use an original USB cable + original 40W charger to have fast charging.
You also be sure that you have installed HiSuite on computer.

When in fastboot mode, the PC recognizes that there's a device connected in recovery mode and the phone does the same so I don't think it's hardware. Failure for that recognition when the phone is powered up is why I think it's a software issue. So I want to flash a full ota or any other means people might suggest here because I can't seem to find firmware for my region.

Btw could you help as i've flashed with 102.0.0.325, thinking its harmony OS as firmware database state.
But its just an ordinary EMUI 12 that i can't downgrade through HIsuite / proxy / dload.
Help appriciated.
During DLOAD i get verification error, HiSuite gives me package error.

I don't know what phone do you have, what firmware is on it now or was before you upgraded. A screenshot of About phone is needed.
The simultaneous loss of usb2.0 transfer and Huawei fast charging is a sign of triggering anti-rollback. Usually it is caused by downgrading from a version released after fixing the checkmate 30 vulnerability. Just wireless OTA upgrade to fix it， or you can purchase an harmony tp cable to restore USB 2.0 tranfer, or using a USB 3.0 cable connected to USB 3.0 port to transfer data.

You are right if the firmware were under 11.0.0.190 but he said it is Emui12

P40 Pro ELS-n29 C10 region.
Originally it was on R3 firmare.
Post an image of firmware that you used for upgrade.

I appreciate your help and managed to downgrade to EMIU 11 with HiSuite OVA 11 + China DNS. Without lan settings i had connection error. Thx a lot any way
