Bitmoji AOD Clock removal - OnePlus Nord Questions & Answers

I want to get rid of the Bitmoji aod clock from my Oneplus Nord. I tried looking through all the packages on my phone so that i could uninstall it using the adb shell, but i could not find a package specific to this. I found a package for the "insight" clock (net.oneplus.odm.provider) but not the bitmoji one. Could someone help me out?

So i tried uninstalling the insight clock package, but that didn't work either
pm uninstall --user 0 net.oneplus.odm.provider
It uninstalled the package but the clock is still available and functional.
I'd like to get rid of this and the bitmoji aod clock

Has nobody found a solution to get rid of these stupid bitmoji things?
Please help!

I found it myself:
Settings- Customization- Clock on ambient display
Now choose anything other then Bitmoji and you're done!

I have tried that, the brightness slider is still visiable.
Yeah but not so obvious, it's a good compromise for me. I don't know another way atm sorry
Install this APK and reboot phone. Root is not needed.
Author - hawst (4pda).
Brightness bar disappears.
For Brightness bar returning go to applications manager - more - show system apps - find com.android.system ui-overlay - remove - reboot smart.
thanks, i have tried that and it works!
what about remove the notification toggles and clean the notification panel?

can confirm this works on edge+
How about removing the labels as well?
Thank you
the best way I've used on past devices is thru Xposed and GravityBox/Wanam. Alternate it with swiping the top status bar which is much cooler and minimalistic. But Xposed for the S7 is still underway. So...patience mate.

I believe it can also be removed via ADB with the following: adb shell settings put system notification_panel_brightness_adjustment 0

I got a chance to try it out as well. Doesn't look like it works for the S7, though it was previously used with success on a S6.
Have you guys tried the apk from @sergmarin (a few posts above) ? Works for me on note 5, marshmallow.

I feel silly for not noticing it earlier

In settings, if you go to Display>Advanced>Display Size and turn it to small it makes content on the display smaller.

Enable developer options and set smallest width to 500 .You might want to also max out text size in display settings. Still not small enough, go up to 580!
Anyone know a launcher which will hide the navbar. I know lineage OS has the option to hide status and/or navbar.. I don't feel like using the adb hack to go immersive mode, would be nice if a launcher offered the option

I know you didn't feel like using the adb hack, but if you were happy to have a single adb session you could use SystemUI Tuner - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zacharee1.systemuituner . You just need to set give it the required permissions in adb and then you can control immersive mode from the app whenever you fancy.
It also allows a couple of other handy things like setting custom notification snooze durations.
Thanks I will try this.

Thanks. I am looking to hide it like lineage OS where you can swipe up to see it again, not totally remove it. Was hoping a launcher might have that but haven't seen one yet.

[HOW TO]Move the clock in Android Pie

How to move the clock on the right or put it in the center on android pie
There is a way to move the clock on the right where it was. For me, personally, I get used to to be in the left, but I also like to be able to personalize my phone on the way I want. Now, this is possible
1. You need to install an app called System UI Tuner and register for the beta program. After this, you have to receive an update of the app. Update it.
2. Need to give it permission through ADB. Here are the commands:
adb shell pm grant com.zacharee1.systemuituner android.permission.WRITE_SECURE_SETTINGS
adb shell pm grant com.zacharee1.systemuituner android.permission.PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS
adb shell pm grant com.zacharee1.systemuituner android.permission.DUMP
3.Go to Status bar > Custom and click Add item. Enter the key "right_clock_position". Enter whatever name for it you want. The new item will be created. Toggle it OFF.

The littles little buggy for me, just keep it in mind. Also, the clock can be moved in the center with "middle_clock_position"

Thank you sooooooo much for this FIX, it was driving me nuts!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! Best pie mod ever!
fantastic app, there is the option to hide status bar e recall it with a swype when needed
Wish this had come out sooner, but LOVE it!
OK, I'm an idiot...where do I sign up for the beta of System UI Tuner?
I found it.... (I'm still an idiot)
From the last update of the app, you don't need anymore to add keys. There is option for moving the clock.

So glad to have the clock back where it belongs

So where is it?
After you have installed the app, wait about 15 - 20 minutes, and go back into the play store on that app, and you should see a link to join the beta program. I did it from the phone, I don't know if it shows up on a PC.
AWESOME!!! Thanks ?
Does it have date in status bar?

FYI,to the OP and everyone who used this method: You don't need to do anything in special to accomplish this. Go to settings>press the magnifying glass and type in "clock"> go to "clock style" and choose whatever one you desire including the big font one prior to android pie. Your welcome.

Must of overlooked the status bar part.
Good lock app is now available in Galaxy Store with a module to move the clock position in the status bar, as well as tons more awesome customization options. For those of you who have disabled galaxy store, the apk for Good Lock and its modules can also be found on apkmirror.com
I had never used this app prior to Pie but I must say, its pretty friggin sweet! I highly recommend it to all galaxy device owners (unfortunately it's not yet compatible with Galaxy S10(+) apparently)

Anyway to show date on the status bar without an app?
I don't think is possible? At least I don't know.
PS:
About the guide in OP. Now is kinda useless because you can do this with Good Lock.
I tried it on my huawei mate 10 and it didn't work. Is a reboot needed after, perhaps? I prefer the clock in the middle.

Can't reach to pull down the Quick Settings

So I've just jumped from a Samsung A5 2017 to a P30 and generally loving it. But it's a tad taller and on Samsung's UI its easy to swipe down from the middle of the screen to pull down new Notifications or the QuickSettings menu. On the P30 this doesn't work. Instead swiping down from middle of Home Screen invokes the Search the phone function... Is there something I'm missing in the customisation options to be able to set this up? I have the Gestures set to old school three buttons at the moment. The new Android style swipe gestures seem a bit slower for me to navigate. I see under 'Suggested Apps' on the right of this screen a suggested app 'Navigation Gestures'. I see in the video it offers a swipe up from bottom to invoke Notifications so this could be an answer but I would have thought there would have been some kind of simple configuring I could do which would solve what is a major UI problem - unless you have hands like an Orangutan that is.
Sounds like "Hisearch" causing it
Either install a different launcher (Do yourself a favour and install Nova launcher) or use ADB commands to disable Hisearch (Instructions here on XDA for debloating)
Where are those instructions for debloating?

is it me or these pm commands no longer work on Android 10? just tried this via 2 machines on my P30 and no joy. note that I am a seasoned ADB user and have had zero issues debloating my Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro.

Any way to remove the clock from the status bar?

So, my status bar looks pretty clean already after tweaking it a little bit with the help of SystemUI Tuner -
but - I kinda want to take it a step further and remove the clock from my status bar, as I don't need it
because I've already got a clock widget on my homescreen. I tried removing it through the SystemUI Tuner, but this doesn't seem to work, so I wanna know if there is any other way to get rid of it, through adb or something maybe? thanks in advance
I see your having uploaded image issues too! I have asked admin to take a look in to this as i gave had a few uploaded files that are not available from the post link

Haven't tried it specifically on the clock, but the "adb shell settings put secure icon_blacklist" code works for the alarm icon, so should work for the clock...
Code:
adb shell settings put secure icon_blacklist clock
Then reboot.

I thought that it might just be an error because of the small filesize (66? kb) ^^
thanks for clearing that up
