MIUI 12.5.2 India Bug - Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC Questions & Answers

The Indian variant of POCO X3 just received an update to MIUI 12.5 and I'm facing an annoying bug.
1: While taking a screenshot, the mini preview on the top right is unclickable. Meaning you can't preview the image, can't click scroll. An error "Couldn't find this image" is given.
2: In the gallery however the image actually exists and can be modified and sent. But the problem is while trying to attach these images from within WhatsApp, those images are "file not supported" error. All other images and files work, only the screenshot images show this error and blank thumbnail.
Please assist.

Exif date problem

Hi folks,
Exactly as described in the link below, I am running in the exif date on my stock OPO:
https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/2002-12-08-exif-date-problem.104599/
In particular, if you take a picture (it is not important if with the Cyano camera or Google's one), you will find that the exif metadata "Create Date" is always "Create Date 2002:12:08 12:00:00" and it does not display the right data.
This bug has been experienced both on CM11s and on CM12s.
You can find a screen cast of the issue here:
https://youtu.be/bgsED_ty9Sc
How to reproduce the bug (from the phone):
1. take a picture
2. open the picture with Exifviewer
3. you will see that "Date/Time Digitized" (which is the same tag of "Create Date" on exiftool) is 2002:12:08 12:00:00 instead of "Date/Time Original (with the right date)".

The support service at OPO proposed me to install this batch file containing CM11S44S version of the ROM "which has a new kernel, updated drivers and a few partition reset which is known to fix some of the most common issues that some users have already faced with their device in the past" (their words): https://s3.amazonaws.com/oneplussupport/ONEPLUS+ONE-FIX-Windows.zip
Unfortunately this solution didn't work and upgrading to CM12 didn't solve the issue either.
The final suggestion received by the OPO support was to flash the OxygenOS (following the link below https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/oxygenos-is-here-installation-guide.289398/) as they claim that this will fix the issue (the same thing they said with the initial solution).
I didn't tried to install the OxygenOS yet as I would prefer to stay with the CM and before wiping everything again I would like to be sure it works.
If you wonder to know, this bug has a major impact on my backup and archiving strategy on my NAS: http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=108692
The same impact will be with whatever photo collection manager software you will use.
Could someone help me finding a solution with the CM12s or anyone could kindly confirm me that this bug does not exist on the OxygenOS?
Thanks,
giopas

Honor x2 reporting emui 2.0

Honor x2 reporting emui 2.0 an incorrect amount of RAM and the wrong resolution on the screen. I have not change the resolution and the build.prop file. And I have not done anything else other than remove the China China apps from the phone and installed official apps. What could cause this? Look at the image below.

When you go into the Cust folder and delete certain xml files that's what happens. It will display the wrong information in About Phone. I think it's the hw_defaults.xml file. If you delete that it will show you EMUI 2.0 etc in about phone. I had the same problem when I deleted the entire Cust folder.
I went ahead and reinstalled b015 and restore my twrp image and everything is OK. Thanks for the info.

Can you restart the device and check again?
If it's required clear MX Player data & check again.
Do you have similar issues with previous versions too?

No, restarting and clearing isn't help, also as another version. I asked another owners of this phone, they said that they haven't this problem. I'll try to unroot my phone and if it don't help then I'll reload firmware

If you are using a modified or patched version of the Pro versions, it may happen.
If you are using genuine pro version, then the issue might be with your firmware (as another user with the same device doesn't have issues)
Hi move it to the internal storage and it works fine.

[APP] Gboard - The Google Keyboard - Bugs and Fixes

Is there anyone else around here facing these problems? If yes, how to solve them?
I commented on these bugs to the Google team by the means I found to do this. But I very much doubt that they will at least read the bugs I reported. So, what to do?!
Thank you in advance.

updating to pie its not working by sideloading you need to save the pie file to your storage and if you cant access your phone you can try flash the latest RAW File just find in other forums.
Well, after trying the RAW file a second time, it is now working. No clue what the deal was before. It shouldn't have even had Magisk installed still after flashing that RAW file, but it did, and was causing the problems.
Second flash actually reset everything. Can't delete this post though.
