Thanks for replying it works.
The only thing to note that after changing the country code the pad will reset automatically.

What's the point in doing this?
Can you explain?
Also, when you say reset, you mean losing all the data?
Thanks

same question here: why change the country code. What good or bad does it take?
Thank you.

There is no search when I lower the top bar... (A11)

I would like to know how to get this working on TB-J716F. With ####6020# I get the menu, but it's empty (no list of countries).
For those who are wondering: Tablet is currently on China region, which has some 5 GHz WiFi channels locked - I cannot set channel manually on my WiFi.

Mine won't show a list of countries. Have you found a fix?

Does your Google Assistant work (Hey Google or OK Google)? Mine is broken. I have converted my CN ROM to Global ROM, Changed the Country Code (####6020#) to my country and set the Region Code to 02 via QFIL.

you need to go to settings --> system --> regional settings, then click on the time tab and change the time style to h:mm:ss tt...if you don't see the option hit up on until it highlights.

this doesn't work on my device, does it affect by the "Region" as well ? because I am using Chinese(HK) as Region, however..... i tested changing EN(US) or (UK) and reboot....The HTC home Clock still in 24H, but the small time beside the "X" is 12h time

under the "region" tab, I believe you can have whatever you want...it's under the "time" tab that you should change the "time style" to h:mm:ss tt. the region tab i think is probably used for internet related stuff to determine the content based on your location (such as localized language on your pc), the time section will give you the actual selection on format.
OR
it could be the version of the home plugin you have installed. I think there were a few that were floating around. In most cases, the above has worked for me...so if the setting is correct, dunno why it's not working...

SamsungDive - Find your Lost/Stolen Phone

http://www.phonearena.com/news/SamsungDive-helps-getting-your-lost-or-stolen-smartphone-back_id20604
Has anyone found an APK in English for this? Looks like a good free app that tracks your phone etc etc. Sadly it only seems to be out in the UK and Germany. Anyone have a UK version?
It's built into the phone firmware on compatible models, so you can't just sideload an apk:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",

}
And on top of that it looks like you have to have registered a compatible model on Samsung's website to even log in to the web interface, so unless you have an extra British Galaxy S serial number handy, good luck.
There are a number of apps with similar functions on the Android Market, though.

Thanks for the infoz.
"This function is not supported for your area"
I decided to try out Samsungdive with my GT-I9003.
Managed to register account and phone details and when I log into Samsungdive my phone and number show up correctly.
However if I try to do anything from the webpage( like Location Info Request) I receive a message "This function is not supported for your area".
Can find no relevant info on this message anywhere.
Does the service not cover New Zealand?
I recently flashed phone with XXKPH ROM from Samsungfirmware. That may have some bearing on the problem.
Any recommendations for an app that has the same functions as Samsungdive?

It was reported as available in NZ here:-
http://www.androidmobile.co.nz/rece...g-dive-track-and-control-your-device-remotely
There are also a number of people in NZ using it successfully according to posts on Geekzone.co.nz.
The only difference would seem to be the fact that I bought my phone online and have put a custom Rom on.

Match Criteria Option missing in Auto Reject List

I can’t find the „Match Criteria“ in Auto reject list, so that I can block with the “Starts with” option numbers.
I can only enter a number and press the + symbol.
Is this Match Criteria Option removed on Android 5.0.2 or Samsung S6?
Am I the only one missing this option?
Everybody else, with 5.0.2 have this option?

Well, unfortunately, Samsung removed those options. It was bothering me too, so I coded a solution.. It needs root and is a bit complicated at the moment. Good news is that, it works with Samsung way and no 3rd party blocker.
Match Criteria
Hi, do you publish your solution or have any tutorial on how to enable "Match Criteria" in Block numbers? I have a Galaxy S7 Edge with Android 7.0 Rooted.
Thanks for any help.

I was directly editing the database file but after Lollipop, Samsung started to ignore those options as well. Send me a screenshot of your block numbers page with a random number like 1234 added and I will tell you if it will work for you.
Match Criteria
Hi and thanks for the fast replay. Here are a ScreenShot of my "Block numbers" page.
I have SQLite Editor pro installed if it comes handy to achieve the task.
Thansk a lot!

Yeah, just as I suspected, it won't work. The Lollipop version still had the match criteria(like starts with etc) written under the number although it provided no means of entering this data. So you could edit the db file and change these criteria.

If you still would like to give it a try edit:
/data/data/com.android.phone/databases/autoreject.db file.
the screenshot is for "includes" criteria.
I'll give it a try and report back if it works or not. Thanks for the support!

What happens if you switch 4G data from sim 2 to sim 1? Will that other network indicates correctly then?
I think they removed it in latest update?
I used to see 4g icon even when connected to wifi now it disappear when on wifi.
So maybe they disabled one when the other is active.
Between which region you got?
It depends by region. Don't know why...
There is system setting in local.prop, so it can be changed if you have root and cust partition read/write.

Xiaomi Beebest intercom app problem (Beebest Walkie talkie A308)

Has anyone here had the same problem with the Beebest A308 walkie talkie? can't login and register in the app? The problem was they wanted me to register and they only offered me a way to register via a mobile number from China (+86). I tried going through the "mi button" which is on the bottom left in the image, I logged in with my Mi account and then it took me back to the same screen and asked for a phone with +86. Has anyone managed to register on that app or something similar? App in Chinese btw
Thanks&Best regards

I have the same problem, but i hadn't had any luck with how to get around it. I tried using "online sms only" +86 phone numbers to try to make something happen but to no avail.
Also only chinese language in the app does not help. I tried mailing Xiaomi, they said A308 beebest is intended for only China market. So i'm hoping someone will make an app that will work or something at this point.

Do you have any advice on how I could do this same de/recompiling? I have the a306 and I'm suffering from the same problem; the app you linked above only lists the a308 and a108 Plus as supported devices.
