Just got Pixel Experience (rooted) on my Poco F1. While so far great, i am currently missing the call recording feature that was natively included in MIUI.
Looking for the best option to record all calls (doesn't matter if root or non-root).

Has anyone used (successfully) a program for recording conversations on H6 L-04 on android Lollipop?
Until now I had BoldBeast Recorder in the PRO version. Everything worked beautifully. Now it does not record the mid calls. He records what he wants and when he wants. Or the same incoming or outgoing, now what thou hast coming again. I am no longer able to adjust.
Today I tried yet Total Recall. One outgoing conversation recorded, the next one outgoing no recorded.
I'm pretty sure that this fault new Android on Honor 6, rather than recording programs, because both have the same problems.
Does anyone know how to to get around, except back to EMUI 3.0?
Hi Guys,
Those who are looking for stock call recording option pls go through.
1. Download the hwcallrecorder.apk from mentioned link and install like normal apk.
2.Restart your mobile.
3. Now u can see the record options in call gui.
Tested in H60-L04 emui 3.1 (B510,520,521)
Note: Working fine no issues. But its not automated call recording app. If you want to record press record button on in call gui manually.

Hello All,
I am new to this space. Unfortunately, after being forced to update to Android 9, I lost my call recording feature. I absolutely need this feature because I travel all the time. Rooting is not an option for me because I would lose the warranty. Plus, I have accidentally bricked a phone in the past. I saw that people have reported that call recording works in Android 9 in some countries.
I am curious about two things:
1) Do we know which phone models and region will support call recording?
2) Given that we know that XYZ model with Android 9.0 supports call recording, if I buy a phone from another country and use it in the US, will call recording work? Any idea?
I thought of asking everyone on this forum before making an investment in two things a) a $1K phone b) a recorder app. I have tried other options such mic-based call recording etc., but they are not as good as an app doing the call recording.
I am really pissed off with Google for banning this feature.

Hi
I have Samsung galaxy S8+ exynos running pie
I have tested a lot of call recording application, even I used nice shot but cannot record calls,
Can you give me a solution for call recording in android pie, My phone is already rooted, I will refer Native call recording which is available in call UI
Does this apply for the Poco f2 Pro too? Can someone confirm? Im on miui.eu atm...
I installed the Google phone app and Google contacts. The call recording feature worked for a few minutes, but then disappeared. I've got an F2, with the Xiaomi.EU ROM. The built in dialler supports call recording. Also I'm in the UK.
What I think is happening is that once the phone app establishes I'm in the UK it disables call recording. But if I was in another country it might keep working. Tbh, not too sure.
Hi, can you guys recommend a mid to high end Android phone with a built in call recorder?
I know both Huawei and Mi phones used to have them until around 2018 / 2019. Now none of the new phones seems to have inbuilt call recording. For my job it is a must to have call recording.
Currently, I have my eyes set on Huawei P30 Pro because, people have told me this comes with both Google play services and inbuilt call recorder. Can anyone confirm this and is their anything more recent out there?
My budget is around USD 600 to 800.
Thanks very much in advance.
Anyone?
I bought an Infinix smartphone from india and its awesome for the purpose you are looking for. This phone has an excellent built in call recorder which not only automatically records call, but also each speaker gets separate (left and right) channels, so its super easy listening to who is saying what.
I know i am replying very late, but i thought better late than never.
In fact i was searching for built in call recorder for custom roms and haven't found any solution yet.
