[INFO] Xperia L firmware customizations (region/branding) and SI numbers
These lists are based on official information from Sony.
They can be useful to correctly specify the branding when making FTF files with Flashtool, to identify FTF files if the branding has not been (correctly) specified by the uploader and to download a different firmware customization with Sony PC Companion.
The lists are sorted by region. Look up customization numbers or SI numbers easily by pressing Ctrl-F (Windows/Linux) or Command-F (Mac).
Branding: carrier name or "Generic" for unbranded devices, followed by the ISO code of the country. Enter this into the "Branding" field when creating an FTF file with Flashtool.
Cust. no.: customization number, can be found in your service menu (dial *#*#7378423#*#* > 'Service info' > 'Software info' > 'Customization Version').
SI number: Sales Item, can be found on your box and perhaps on your receipt, but not on your phone. There are multiple SI numbers with the same customization, because every color (black/white/purple) has its own SI number.
Guide: download ANY firmware customization with Sony Update Service and create an FTF with Flashtool
Info: latest firmware version per customization (region/branding)

[CSC's] Mod's CSC by default to install on Customer Recovery >< New BTU+ITV >< N9005
First of all this need access root to /system and one Customer Recovery or MobileOdin Pro v4.00 (see Note).
Based on CacheRiper from AdamLange Dev, Thanks @AdamLange, I made Mod's to flash by Customer Recover the CSC's, first the TPH by default tested by me, and the XEF by default will be tested by Yours.
I made this first on a Note2 N7100 whit 4.3 to see if it work, and worked alright.
Then I made here on Note3 the TPH by default and is good. Now I want Man testers for XEF by default.
Here are the Mods, try it please and give feedback: N9005-NB4-TPH + N9005-NB4-XEF. To Rom XXUENB4.
To validate the CSC correctly we must make after this change a full wipe on Customer Recovery: Data + cache + dalvik.
PS: This not wipe the Internal Sdcard or internal storage (/data/media).
Note: To use MobileOdin Pro option ZIP, if You have already root SuperSU 1.93, untick the inject SuperSU. 1.89 will be injected, MOP is not updated.
EDIT-1: A confirmed try of mine that this work well.
I flashed the Asia Rom NB4 from Singapore XSP. This Rom have 10 csc's from 4 Asian Countries. All configured on Rom to XSP csc.
After have a Costumer Recovery and root access to /system I flashed the Mod N9005-NB4-TPH. After flash, all csc files from OXX/TPH was on is usual places.
Full wipe data + cache + dalvik and the Rom are all configured now to TPH csc. Alright. :good:
EDIT-2: If You want a Mod to Your CSC post here and I make it if is available.
I have the Multi-CSC's OXXENB1, OLBENA3 and more. See Post #2.
If this is useful to You.... look the THANKS button please. :good:

One example.
You are from Philippines alright? But on SamMobile You have Rom's N9005XXUENB4 to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand only. And the Multi-csc N9005OLBENA3 have 10 CSC's where 3 are from Philippines, XTC, SMA and XTE.
If You want flash a Rom to Your CSC/Country what Rom You flash? In this case, if Your CSC is XTE, You can flash one for example from Thailand but this have one CSC from this Country. Then You flash now a Mod CSC of mine to XTE and Your Rom now is Philippines XTE, work well whit Your carrier XTE. (example).
It's alright? If yes... look the THANKS button.:good:

If You have 3G /4G well, no problem, stay w/ this Rom. I tested it also and it seems to me is a good Rom.

First of all this need access root to /system and one Customer Recovery.
:good:

Nope! To KSA not have yet a Kitkat Rom to extract the CSC. There are only the 4.3.
I had already a Member from Saudi Arabic that had a KK but no 3G nor 4G. He must have a APN from carrier Zain and the Kitkat Rom's can't create it to KSA carrier Zain. I'm not arrived to help him. Then I wrote for him to contact the assistance service from Zain to have the parameters from Zain APN and create it. He not post to me more and I don't know if solved his case.
The APN to 3G 4G (LTE) is on Settings / More networks / Mobile networks / Access Poit Names / APNs -> here You must have a APN active whit a green light. What You have here if touch on it? I want Know the Name =, APN =, Port =, MCC =, and MNC =.

WARNING WARNING
The Rom's XXUENB4 Multi-CSC = VFGENA4 to Vodafone have a hidden.img.ext4 from 86.661 KB, more biggest then Germany DBT that have a hidden from 53.125 KB. We have doubt if the Pit file to DBT from is good to them or if need one more big partition Hidden.
The normal Rom's to Poland, France, etc have a hidden from 8.441 KB.
If someone want flash a Rom from VFG csc's try using the pit file from DBT and give feedback.
If it Fail (Size) after hidden, re-flash the XEO or XEF and flash on Cust Recovery the Mod UK CSC VOD from post #2 or question to me another CSC Mod.

Where did you download the BTU fw from?
When should I insert Lyca SIM card? Before or after the 5) step? Also should I use the CSC file everytime instead of HOME_CSC or in the fifth step I should flash AP,CP,BL and HOME_CSC?
Well I did everything and what I got was DBT csc....
