Is there an Android app/setting that will amplify a caller's voice while on a call? I know someone that has a disability that causes them to loose their voice over time. It is very hard to hear this person when I'm talking to them on the phone so I'm wondering if there is something that will amplify their voice so I can hear them.
Thank you

Hi everyone,
First of all I am a new comer in the world of android and new to this forum. So I need guidance from experienced people like you guys.
I was trying to make an Auto Answering Machine in android. When there is an incoming call, the application should receive it and play an welcome message to the caller. I know its not possible to play the audio message in call stream. So my idea was to play the audio in loudspeaker, thinking that it'll be picked up by the microphone and the caller will hear it.
The problem is the microphone doesn't pick the sound from the speaker whereas at the same time it picks all other sounds from other sources. Hence the caller can't hear the welcome message. I didn't know what was the reason and after lot of searching I found out that it was due to "Echo cancellation" technique used in telephony, which is used to remove similar patterns. For example, when the receiver intentionally want to speak in loudspeaker, the speaker voice should not get propagated to the caller. Hence the technique of "Echo Cancellation" is used.
So my question is, is there any way I can overcome my situation? Can I stop the echo cancellation or any other techniques? I would really appreciate any kind of help.
I have the same problem
Hello everyone.
I do not understand why I can not use any app to record calls. Whenever I install one, who calls me feel my disturbed, metallic voice.
Anyone can help me to understand why?
Made a call using phone...and the callers Voice keeps coming through the watch. That's what my wife is telling me. She says that she can hear the callers Voice through the watch (that I left down stairs) while I wad upstairs talking to them through the phone. The phone call was initiated through the phone.
Now it must be only when I get closer to the phone (I'm a pacer while talking in phone)...so the Voice comes through the watch when I'm near enough for the BT connection. Also she only hears the other persons Voice...not mine.
I have been experiencing incoming call issues. Also outgoing call issues but not as frequent.
Incoming calls while on Android 10 are silent. I cannot hear the caller and they cannot hear me. If I enable speaker phone I hear them and they hear me fine, I then can disable speaker phone back to the ear piece and all is normal again. I am not sure if this is for carrier specific incoming calls or just a sw bug or both...
Outgoing call issue has happened a couple times. In this circumstance I made a call put it on speaker phone. It was on speaker for a while the call was fine I could hear everything so I muted my side until I needed to speak. When I un-muted they could not hear me. I took it off speaker while un-muted and still nobody could hear me. I had to hang up and switch sim cards back to my V30+ because of this issue.
I have yet to test other dialers or phone apps, to see what might be happening here. Anyone have any suggestions to check logs or is there a way to get to a service menu to troubleshoot?
I have problem with calls with watch and my phone (oneplus 7)
When I enable on watch "Play phone voice call on watch" I have problem with voice on phone. When I make or answer a call my microphon stop working. I hear voice my caller but he don't hear me.
To continue the telephone conversation I must change on phone bluetooth source from phone to speaker or ticwatch then I can return to phone and everything is ok.
When "Play phone voice call on watch" is disable everything is ok.
