Hello,
I used to use the Samsung Music App all the time, but I've noticed that gapless playback hadn't worked for a while. I have Crossfade off and Skip Silence on, but I still get gaps between tracks. Not, like , a second, but enough to be audibly not seemless.
All of my music is in m4a / aac format, so could this be the reason? Does gapless playback now only work with certain formats? All my other music apps play gapless seamlessly, so it does appear to be an issue with the Samsung Music app.
Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S10+.

I recently installed CyanogenMod on my Galaxy S2. I lost (of course) the default Music Player and also the default Video Player with it.
Can anyone provide me the working apks of these two apps. Both of these had a feature to play the video or audio directly on my TV and I don't know whether the Apollo Music Player does that. Thanking already.

Hi, I made a feature request on January but got ignored (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!s...avrcp/mx-videoplayer/6DZi_O3O9Vw/G-SX_Luc0uwJ). And seems like there is another user requesting the same thing (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mx-videoplayer/3JVFC214-Ds).
Basically, there are song titles, artist, and album info inside the mp3/mp4 files and those info can be display on AVRCP devices like many car audio systems, and bluetooth headset like Sony MW-600. I have no problem in getting those infos displayed on my AVRCP devices by Poweramp (even mp4 video file). But this feature is missing for MX Player, I wonder if this could be added to the future feature list. Thanks.

Since Poweramp can already do this for mp3 files, I assume you want this for mp4 music videos?

Both mp3 audio and mp4 video files. Poweramp can handle both, but I prefer MX Player since poweramp is just an audio player after all. Thanks.
AVRCP bluetooth metadata
I've got "smart" bluetooth speakers. They are so smart that if the AVRCP status says that the playback is paused, that means that no sound is getting through. So it would help if MX player would at least set the status to "playing" so that the speakers would allow for sound to come through. For now if I want to use MX player, I'm forced to connect the audio cable and loose the media control functionality (play/pause, next/previous).
P.S.: I'm using MX Player Pro from play store
Hello,
I am developing an ANDROID app that is **NOT** going to play any video or audio but wants to listen if any video or audio is playing in the android device.
If yes, then whether the media player is buffering the media (and for how many times and how long each time) and when is the media player is done playing the media so that I can act upon the data collected.
I know there is a method AudioManager.isMusicActive() but it does not always return on all devices. Also, even if I have this information how can I interact with already running MediaPlayer and its Playback states?
Regards,
Ashish
Dear MX Player community,
This video has track #2 in AC3 format (44.1kHz, mono). When I switch to this audio track it starts lagging (voice trebles, some sounds are dropped). I have tried enabling/disabling S/W decoder (Menu→Audio→Audio track→Use SW audio decoder), but it does not help. Perhaps it is related to the fact that both audio tracks are muxed with 1/2 stretch ratio into MKV container. Nevertheless AAC track #1 is played correctly. Both tracks are known to play correctly on Media Player Classic v1.7.13.112 (LAV Splitter v0.70.2.80) on Windows 7.
Is given AC3 track playing smoothly for anybody?
I use MX Player Pro v1.9.16 with ARMv7 NEON custom codec on Samsung Galaxy S5.
The issue might be related to this thread, but I am not sure.
This is regarding some playback features that are unavailable, but partially visible through information menu.
On one hand, selecting information menu, all Video streams (or tracks), including Audio can be seen for an mkv container. Example as in shared attachment, Stream#1: Whiplash (2014)_FHD versus Stream#2: Whiplash (2014)_4k. However, there seems be no apparent way to select/switch to a specific Video stream. In this case Stream#2 - 4k HDR one over 1080p. It defaults only to main track 1 which is forced flagged. One can readily access/switch between Audio tracks, but is not given any such option for Video tracks.
Players such as KODI for example have this kind of feature for quite some time now. Playback of multi-video tracks is possible as one can seamlessly switch between stream using default keyboard shortcuts or Keymap Editor for custom keys/switches. Video stream switching can be done during playback, while maintaining played timeline status. Example, Stream #1 was playing at 32m:03s:500ms. When switched to Stream #2, it plays from the exact same position seamlessly. Another example of this is using more efficient players like MPC – BE on Windows, which works even more accurately. Both Videos are synced fairly accurately during switching.
I really like the playback efficiency of MX Player Pro over KODI which is bulky for most part. This is just one nagging issue that forces me to use KODI in such scenarios. Here, I am referring to playback from Media Servers such as Jellyfin with External Player support activated for MX Player Pro.
I would like to know if there is any such option or plugin that can make this possible.
