Official guide detailing how to port Sailfish OS to Android devices

This is the official guide detailing how to port Sailfish OS to run on any Android device supported by CyanogenMod.
Here is the PDF : http://releases.sailfishos.org/sfa-ea/2014-07-18_SailfishOSHardwareAdaptationDevelopmentKit.pdf
Would be cool to see the OS running on the Note 2 or S3.
+1 I would love to see sailfish os ported to our phones

[Completed] Phoenix OS

Today lets start talking about Phoenix os.....
Well for many of you who have no idea what Phoenix os is.. Let me tell you. It is a windows alternative which runs on androidx86 project.
First of all i will like to tell you all that phoenix os is a lot faster then remix os, it is even faster then windows 10 and 7 .
I have tried all the 4 oses a the fastest was phoenix os.
The only problem with it is that it does not have that as much support as compared to remix but every thing else is alot more faster then remix os.
One drawback is .............................................................................. that remix os runs marshmallow while phoenix os runs 5.1.1
So the MAIN POINT OS THIS THREAD is to make many more support, hacks trick etc for this os so that it could be a ture remix os windows killer. Lets all to geather take full use of the potenial that lies in this os
Assist is not the place for this.

Custom ROM

Greetings,
I have several questions about custom ROMs like lineageOS etc.
I have an old and cheap Huawei Y540 and it only runs Android 4.4
So i thought maybe i can install a custom ROM instead of buying a new phone.
1. Why does a custom rom not run on all devices? I thought they are based on linux which handles the hardware <-> software requests?
2. What happens when i install LineageOS or Resurrection Remix on my device? (Note: my device is not supported)
3. I found guides like the one you can find in google when you look for "build lineageos rom for any device" which is named "How to Build Lineageos rom for any android device Easily ! {Full guide}" (Sorry i'm not allowed to post links) to build the lineageOs for my device. Do you know if any/many bugs will occure if i try that for my device?
Regards, Vincent

(Q) Android 9 (Pie)

Hello everyone, can anyone tell me if there is any development of Android Pie for Mi4c?
Thanks in advance
Not yet.
Maybe Lineage or AICP will be developed to this device.
There is a alpha version of Lineage 16 built by pestilentia, you can download it herehttps://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=285685
The developers has gone away, they now don't care about this old device :sad

Anyone still maintaining any android 11 custom rom?

Anyone still maintainng any Android 11 rom? All I can see is dead projects on android 11. Installed shapeshift ,liked it but it is too old and seems dead. Evolution-x has some UI issues that triggers my OCD. Anyone maintaining any offical or unofficial builds?
Jaguar is still on android 11
