Question Apps/Services running in background - Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro

How do I know what apps/services are running in the background? Someone on Youtube suggests found it by opening "Developer options/running services" but no such setting in my X3 Pro. Thank you for your help.

How to automate Motorola bloatware "force stop"? (NO-ROOT)

Hi there!
I've disabled everything I didn't need and could from android builtin task manager. I now need a no-root way (maybe an app with accessibility support?) to "forcedly stop" the Motorola bloatware for which the disable key is grayed out. With "forcedly stop" I mean to get the same result of clicking on "FORCE STOP" button by hand in the task manager; all the task killer I've tried so far kinda kill the process in a soft way, that isn't what i need to do and let the app still run (="force stop" doesn't become grayed out). If you are familiar to greenify, in the last no-root releases it provides an automated accessibility tool that would suit my need, but that unluckily only allow to stop non-system apps. Do you know any app that would suit my need?
Here there are the battery-sucker apps that I need to terminate:
MotoCare (this one especially drains a lot of battery)
MotoCareInt
Motorola Assist framework
Motorola Services Main
MotorolaOTA
Thank you in advance, and sorry for the confusing explaination
I can't recommend any apps but have you disabled moto care in the system settings?
Settings->Motorola Privacy->Moto Care->OFF

did Settings->Motorola Privacy->Moto Care->OFF but Motocare is still running in Running Apps tab
come on, flash GPE
done
I'd prefer to stay on the Motorola stock firmware, so I don't void the warranty (and maybe there are also some benefit, like the filesystem type etc.)
GPE disables built-in HDR features in the Camera, that's good enough reason for me to stay non-GPE and disable bloatware (manually for now).

Sideloading apks on MIUI 12

I'm interested in buying the Poco F2 Pro (EU), but I'd like to know if sideloading apps (YT Vanced Manager, for example) without needing to disable MIUI Optimization is possible. And if not, can it be disabled without root? From what I can gather, the option to disable it isn't present in Dev Options anymore in MIUI 12. Browsing a recent, relevant post hasn't made it clear for me, there are contradicting opinions on the matter.
I'm on miui 12 global and the option is still there in the developer options.
MIUI 12 EU (12.0.2.0), option still here. But you're right, people with same rom reports different behaviors...
So if that's really the case, it's not easy to tell you for sure if your device will be able to install these apps without disabling optimization, or if the option will be there for you...
However, people reporting the missing option are mostly on global version, if that can help. (Haven't seen any EU user reporting the option missing?)
I see. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

MIUI optimization restricts absolutely nothing regarding the apps u desire to install on global rom or eu EXCEPT MAYBE chinese bloated rom

Disabling Apps

How do I disable a system app, please? For example, on my previous phone, an Xperia Z2 running Android 6.01, it was a simple case of going into settings, apps, selecting the app (such as the default SMS Texting app, which couldn't be uninstalled) and then there was a button to disable it.
Why disable it? I prefer to use Textra, Disabling an app that can't be installed usually has the benefit of stopping the app from running in the background, removing its updates, and therefore releasing resources and salvaging some space from an app you weren't going to use. But, I can't see a way of doing this on my Poco X3.
Thanks for considering my question.

Keep Apps closed (and avoid Boot) on Android 12

Hey guys, is there any efficient app which really closes any app - or avoid them to boot during the startup of the smartphone?
For example, Booking.com or Instagram — I absolutely don't need any notifications from them, and I want to keep those apps absolutely closed. Even the native "restricted background activity" on Android 12 seems not to be working, nor Servicely / Naptime / Greenify (I have root).
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

So basically a startup manager. That would be pretty nifty.
Best I can suggest is disable notifications on those apps; with notifications disabled, I think Android system doesn't allow the processes to keep running. I could be wrong.
There's also some Developer Options that help reduce what you have running at any given time, although they're more of a global policy and not app specific.

Yep — I've disabled the notifications already of Instagram, but still appears to be having some background activity.
Startup manager - yeah, do you know any to suggest?

I mean, there's dozens of task managers out there, but honestly they're not really worth the trouble and don't do anything significant for battery life. With the exception of Magisk and a systemless ad blocker, I'm pretty much bone stock on my Pixel 5 with no management apps whatsoever, and I could probably go 2 days on standby.

With the ever-increasing size of apps, there’s a chance that you might be finding it hard to use your phone as these apps tend to hogs your phone memory as well as its battery. Not only do yo…

Question Could use help debloating: Mi Video, Mi AI and "Game Booster"

I've glanced through the packages in ADB and tried searching as well but i'm still struggling to figure out how to remove the 3 apps in the title of this thread. Any tips? In the case of "Game Booster" I'm not even sure if that's an "App" per se or some other feature within the MIUI framework but I don't really know what it does and I don't play any games except for Pokemon Go so I'd like to get rid of it to be on the safe side.
Do you have the Chinese or EU rom? I have the EU rom and it seems that Mi Video is required for video playback on the Camera app. If this app is disabled or uninstalled, you will be prompted to use a different player. Keep in mind that Mi Video supports HDR/Dolby Vision video playback while others, such as Google Photos, doesnt.
I didnt find any app called Mi AI so maybe this rom doesnt have it, in favor of Google Assistant.
I couldnt find any app call Game Booster but I found a setting by going to phone Settings > Search bar > Type "games" and open it > Click to open "Turn on Game Turbo". There is a setting to turn on/off game mode. Maybe this game mode is baked into the framework.
I'm using the chinese rom it came with - only modifications done to it are ADB debloating and some manual app removal
I suppose I can live with Mi Video it's just annoying that it (and the Mi AI app) update or have notifications sometimes in chinese (which I can't read/understand).
I appreciate the heads up on that "games" search - it allowed me to disable the feature for pokemon go - we'll see if that resolves some of my issues i've experienced with the game!! I couldn't find that set of options to save my life when browsing through the settings screens manually
I never use the Mi Video other than videos playback from the camera app. You can also disable all notifications from this app.
EU rom gets rid of a bunch of Chinese stuff so give it a try.
