Badass thanks bro!
if anyone has any clue why 1080x1920 splash screens wont execute on J7 please let me know.
Too risky. Not even kernel level, hardware level modding might end up very bad as samsung loves their efuse. Bootloader never downgrades, flashing unsigned bootloader file can easily brick motherboard completely.

Hello everyone.
I have decided to install a GSI on my Samsung A7 (2018) SM-A750G cos' with the stock firmware the power button does not work (but when installing a GSI the button works fine, and I have no idea why this happens XD).
The point is that I previously had a GSI installed but due to an error I bricked my phone, which led me to reinstall the stock firmware (https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a7-2018/firmware/#SM -A750G) using Odin, and later a GSI using TWRP. But now when I install the GSI my device remains in bootloop. It should be noted that the stock firmware does boot correctly, but the problem is exactly when installing the GSI (with the no-verity and RMM Bypass patches used).
The guides I tried are these:

Hi, try install GSI from FOX Recovery, then swithch back to TWRP.
The TWRP is older, so it dont support Android 10. I had similar problems with bootloader on bit 4 for android 10.

You can find it on 4 pda, and also I saw it here somewhere.
Have the same issue. Can't make it work, even when flashing with orange fox.
Is thiss quantum kernel absolutely necessary for flashing a GSI?

I would like to know too. Normally one provided by the stock should be enough.
hello people someone help me to know where to find a twrp custom recovery for a12 compilation a125mubu1buf9 I can not find it in the official pages of twrp or one that is compatible.
Let's wait for the developers to do it, one ui core gets stuck and slows down a lot here and well, a pixel rom or pure Android could improve
Code:
# I'm not responsible if you break your device
# If you blame me for the damage, I will laught at you.
#
# Try falshing the A125F fimware in odin, I don't think it will work but still try. They do run on the same hardware.
# After flashing A125F fimware install the twrp image https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/aosp-11-unofficial-samsung-sm-a125f-twrp.4317131/
I'm new to custom ROMs, but I've made it through with an ArrowOS install on my Poco X3 pro thanks to this fantastic step-by-step guide by urbanman2004. I made it all the way up to step 14/d of the guide, which is where I'm running into this problem.
I believe I followed the guide precisely, except for two things:
I already started with an unlocked bootloader (I unlocked it before I found the guide). The general method of unlocking bootloader was the same, but I might have deviated in some of the steps, I don't really know. I don't suppose it's relevant to my issue, but just to be sure...
I downloaded and flashed VANILLA distribution of ArrowOS instead of the recommended gapps one, because I want to use microG instead
So now I'm stuck on point 14/d - patching "boot.img" and fastboot-flashing it... The system seems to be installed and fully working. But when I patch "boot.img" from the VANILLA build, the output file has 0 bytes in size and cannot be flashed, due to this error:
Code:
C:\adb>fastboot flash boot magisk_patched-22100_LijmZ.img
Sending 'boot' (0 KB) FAILED (File is too large to download)
fastboot: error: Command failed
So my questions are:
1. What is it that I'm trying to do in this step, anyway? The OS seems to be working fine - is this re-locking bootloader again, or something of that sort?
2. What can be done do to debug/circumvent this issue?
Thanks a for your help, it will be much appreciated!
hey i believe that guide is a little old. You can use latest TWRP recovery.
from here.

and just install magisk from that twrp.
If rooting is what you're looking for anyways. If you dont need root just dont need to do anything.

Oh, so points 13+ are fpr rooting the phone? I see, I don't think I need that... I wanna use the OS with MicroG (installed via NanoDroid), plus apps I acquire via Aurora store... no need for root for that, is there?
1) I have a SM-J415GN/DS. Does the /DS not matter?
2) The RMM flasher is for Exynos devices, as stated in the documentation. The J4+ has a Qualcomm 425. Does it still need the RMM flash?
3) Is the stock Android 9 installation arm32? I want to know if it's worth the troubleshooting of flashing a custom ROM.
