Hi, I'd like to find out what these logs or cache's are I've sent you photos of.
I'd just like to know if it's possible for me to remotely access and control my partner's iPhone 8 with what's in the pictures above. Just abit dumb found as to what they are and have been told I've made and used them to hack into my partner's phone. Any guidance or information you could inform me about this it would be muchly appreciated.

I have tried out the Kaiser and found it to be overly difficult to operate on a daily basis so I am looking to find something else.
In addition to your basic phone I need the use of a calendar, contacts and notes. Email/internet would be helpful as would GPS. I would like to be able to use it for music also. Camera/video isn't important.
I am a newbie to this forum and didn't find a thread that might point me in the right direction so any information would be appreciated.
Thanks.
I would go for a moto q9h
I really need massive help. Obviously I am brand new to this forum and have absolutely NO idea what the jargon or codes mean in these threads. Overclocking? Rebooting into recovery? SU? Kernal version requirements? I am merely a car guy and will gladly assist in ANY and all car questions. This is what I would like to accomplish. Root the phone to delete the useless programs that are just taking up space. Namely, Amazon MP3, Facebook (don't even have an account), Goggles, Google Search, Latitude,Talk, Twitter, Voice Dialer and finally Voice Search. I figure I don't need many of these since when I do actually use most of those Voice type programs Vlingo is used. Am I wrong to delete so much? A ROM is basically the screen design layout and buttons correct? I am needing set by step (Barney style) instructions on how to accomplish what I would like to do. I currently have a Droid 1 with version 2.2.1; Build FRG83D; Kernel 2.6.32.9-g68eeef5 . If that makes any sense or helps in my quest great, if not please let me know what else is needed. I have Windows XP if that matters as well. So like I said, if you have car issues or just want a little more performance or gas mileage I can help. I'm partial to domestics, Chevy especially, but can definately assist with them all. Thanks in advance all!

Hi all,
I'm a noob app developer trying to do it for the first time. I'm trying to create an event calendar app for company's internal purposes. So that everyone in the company (which uses a lot of android phones) can be updated on company events that are coming up.
My approach is to create a database with MySQL for events input, and to use PHP to connect the database which is in a server and to push it to the android devices that are used in the office as that's how I found it in a tutorial from HelloAndroid.
My questions are:
1. is this the best approach to create such app?
2. Can I use Android's default calendar to input these events? if not is there some kind of calendar template that I can use to display the information to the users.
Probably will have more questions as I progress, but please help if anyone is more experienced in these matters than I am.
Thank you very much, and really appreciate the inputs that I'm gonna get
A simple solution would be to use Google Calendar.
By using GC you can add/edit events either from a PC (work or home) or your Mobile anywhere in the World.
All that is required is for someone to first set up the calendar on Google and push it out to all those who you want to see it.
This way you are not isolating anyone who does not have an Android Phone.
that's a really good point. Especially in a closed environment like an office. I didn't think of that before. THank you very much.
However, if let's say I want to try to build an app for that for public use, not just confined to limited numbers of people in a company.
Would that be the best approach or if there's any better way to approach it. I may decide to build the app after all just to learn and gain experience in app development.
thanks again for the feedback, really appreciate it.
I can't really give you advice on developing an App sorry.
All I can say is the method I mention is the one which I use to keep all my Operational Team (Surgeons/Doctors/Nurses/Admin/etc) updated and advised.
There's nothing short in you developing your own Calendar App but you would have to ensure it would be available to all and that includes anyone anywhere regardless of the fact they are at work, home, holiday, with Android or not, have a Phone, PC, Mac, etc... etc...
For that there's already a stable tool by the name of Google Calendar.
If you do develop one I'd still be interested in seeing what ideas you could bring into practice that would have a benefit over GC.
I understand your point of view, and actually you got me thinking, maybe if I really want to do the apps, I can create an app that calls the Gcalendar events, and display it from the app. I can find out the API to do that, and that would be much simpler.
Thank you again for your input, really appreciate i

No problem.... I wish you well on your venture.
Do please let us all know how you get on.. You never know, if it becomes that good I may even use it myself over the stock calendar App or any of the other's that already link to GC.
Hello folks,
since all other threads concerning this topic are either outdated or are about trying to fix this problem by themselves I've decided to open a new one.
The problem mentioned above should be well known to almost any android user who uses Gmail to manage and sync their contacts.
Because Google ignored earlier requests I'm trying to spread this one single request as far as possible. If enough Gmail users read and star this thread Google has to react in any way.

Link to direct suggestion of features for Gmail<-- German, but don't hesitate to like the feature suggestion there too!
If you are registered in another major forum please share the link so we reach as many frustrated users as possible.

Voted.
In fact i've added my support to many threads like this on the Google Forums over the last year, as have hundreds of other users. I find it utterly baffling how after all this time, Google still haven't addressed this issue.
If Google were to increase the contact picture size even by merely 10 pixels, they would need massive amount of additional server space.
I'm not saying it's not doable, just not as simple as we'd like to think.

Actually I thought of that point too, but I made a quick calculation.
I am able to get a decent picture quality (JPEG,256x256px,8bit,quality 65) at under 15kb per picture.
Now imagine you are having 1000 contacts, it would be around 15MB of data just for the pictures. And now take into consideration that any Gmail user already has over 7,6GB(!) of free storage. Would anybody miss 15 or even 50MB?
But all this has already been written in the request thread

We need to put some pressure on Google to fix the Low resolution contact images that are synced with using GMail.

For info, the problem is now solved. Google fixed it.
I just updated my pictures contacts via the website (I guess it also work directly on the phone), and pics are now in correct resolutions!
Hi all,
Firstly I'm sorry for posting a question here for what might seemingly be a simple task, however despite googling and researching for about 2 weeks I'm no closer to my goal.
I'm building a car dash using a nexus 7, and using kustom live wallpaper to create a unique frontend. Everything is going well however I am struggling with one thing...
I want to keep GPS on (no problem) which constantly grabs my location (no problem). I then want to set my location to a variable which is then pushed via tasker to KLWP (again, no problem!). My problem is that it outputs the WHOLE address. This is a problem. I've managed to get it down to displaying just the house number and the street name, however I want JUST the street name, eg King Street or Queens Avenue.
The idea is that while I'm driving along the road name is automatically displayed.
How on earth can I do this? My knowledge of tasker and variables is very limited and I've only been able to get this far by messing about with various settings but doing this for 2 weeks and not getting any closer is beyond frustrating. I know what I'm trying to achieve is not impossible which frustrates me more.
Guys and girls, I'm extremely grateful for any help or guidance.
Lastly, sorry for the whole 'new account 1 post which is a question' vibe. I've been coming here for years with a different account but I couldn't remember the password, and password reset returned a 404 page :/
Thanks again
Antony
