Hi i would need a screenshot of the QPST tool at its default in each tab, in the programming section (PLEASE CLEAR ESN IMEI MEID before posting!).
The main one i need is attached here (UMTS System tab). I mistakenly touched something and now i'm in troubles... i cannot use 2G or 4G: if i enable one of them, i've tried enabling both but without success...

Use your PC's internet connection on your phone. No more pain of wasting your precious mobile data!
you need to have a PC with working internet connection and a rooted android device.
Making it happen:
1)Connect your Android to your desktop/laptop via USB cable DONOT TURN ON USB STORAGE IF YOU USE SAMSUNG DEVICE (dont forget to turn on USB debugging )
2)Download, extract the attachment and Open android tool application file present in the extracted folder

}
3)click “Connect”. this will install the latest android package and the dependencies (busybox and redsocks) and SuperUser will ask you to allow “Usb tunnel”
make sure you allow it.
now you phone has an internet connection and you can use it just by minimising the USB Tunnel app...
to stop the service, just click on disconnect on your pc (android tool app) or stop service on USB Tunnel in your phone..
There is already a long thread for this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1371345
Please search before posting.

Hi everyone,
I've got a weird problem with my Nexus 5.
A couple days ago I flash Android L preview, everything was Ok. Yesterday I wanna go back to Paranoid Android (my rom), so I wipe my phone, I had a couple of problems, but I resolve all of them. And everything was ok.
In the evening I change my favorite network type to 2G, after that my N5 wasn't to join my carrier network.
This morning I flash the factory image that I grab from Google website. That change nothing...
I don't know what to do...
Here is informations displayed in fastboot :

Here is the "Network Settings" menu :
The "Preferred network type" selector (I never see one like that before) :
Thanks for your help, if you need more information ask (I know adb and fastboot).
AMDG2
From your screenshots it looks like the preferred network type was set to something that is not one of the default options. That selector in your last screenshot is the stock Android selector. Just choose LTE and it should get you connected again.
Hi.
Just received my H815 from the lab, with AT&T ROM installed (making it the wrong model - H811)
I've downloaded the H815 Europe ROM: "H81520B_00.kdz" and then, I open the LG flash tool 2014, browsing for the KDZ file, and pressing start.
It starts going through the installation:
Succeeds in analyzing phone settings (Picture 1)

}
.
Trying to extract software (picture 2)
.
Immediately puts an error stopping the process "contact the system administrator" (Picture 3)
.
Tried to do "run as administrator" but it doesn't matter.
I've also tried other Euro KDZ, and same problem.
I want to put Stock ROM on my fixed H815.
1. Does my physical location matter?
2. What can I do to solve this?
3. The phone is not rooted, does it matter?
4. Maybe my phone is actually H815P/L, does it matter?
Thanks.
My Huawei P8 - Android 6.0 used to be set to use 4G network, it was set in automatic mode 4g/3g/2g
something like this, if I remember correctly: "Preferred network mode 4G/3G/2G"
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
For a test, I switched it in 3G mode, so now the setting is "Preferred network mode 3G/2G":
Now the problem is that in network mode selection, I have no option "4G/3G/2G". only "3G/2G auto" - "3G only" - "2G only"
How to revert to 4G mode? I read around that I can use Settings > Backup & reset > Network settings reset , but according to this link, it resets too many things
Here my phone infos
I assume this is a just a bug in the user interface, not showing the desired network mode
Is there a way to work around it, maybe manually editing some configuration file? or even better some hidden setting screen that I can use?
I'm on a rooted device and can use Adb (not an expert, but I can use it somehow)
Originally posted on Huawei P8 forum, I post it here as well since a possible solution will likely be not strictly related to P8
