Hello, so i tried rooting my phone with firmware i installed the laatest version of LG UP bound my phone with it downloaded the .kdz file and everything worked fine when my phone rebooted after the installation in the download mode i werent able to use the touch screen anymore i am now stuck in the screen where i can setup my phone again and i really dont know what to do now. If anyone can help would be really nice
Reflash phone's Stock ROM to get rid off of all modifications you applied so far.

Yea i would do that but i heard that LG use special software and when i open the LG flash program it keeps saying cannot run this program its called "LGFlashTool"

Okay soooo, SPECS.
- Android 2.2 froyo
- LG P500h (Koodo)
- Standard Rom
- KDZ won't open
Now, what I did, it was stupid. I wanted a black notification bar so I downloaded a file, it replaced the original framework file in the system files of the phone, I tried to open an app and it force closed so I restarted my phone and guess what? ANDROID BOOT LOOP!
First instinct. Re-flash the firmware with KDZ.
KDZ won't open? I don't know whats wrong... Someone help, please
.:EDIT:. Resolved, I updated throught the LG Update Tool and now im on 2.2.2 but I can't downgrade cause KDZ still wont open so i dont know how I'll be able to root again
I had a problem on my lg when i tried to flash a new custom rom, using a rom flasher not sure which one it was but all of a sudden it rebooted and the lg security error apeared and cant get it to start tried hard reset but didnt work. I also tried the lg mobile support tool. I did get it to sw mode aparrently i already have installed the newest version so it wont upgrade because there is nothing to upgrade. Also tried to upgrade recovery but it pops up that there is no items to fix.
Note: it is rooted. Has cwm installed but the one i downloaded was for an older version of android so its not compadible. It is unlocked if that helps. Everything can be recovered so dont care if data is lost just want it to boot up aka work!! Would really apreciate any help on getting it to work.
Hi. I'm using a T-Mobile LG-G2 with firmware version D80120g. I used AutoRec to install TWRP, but now I'd like to go back to stock everything so that I can get the OTA upgrade to Lollipop. I was planning on using this method, but upon trying to use download mode, it tries to update the firmware, but hangs at 0 percent, while saying ROOTED in red letters at the bottom.
Is there a way to either a.) Go back to stock without use of download mode, or b.) Fix this "ROOTED" message so that it can update the firmware normally and enter download mode properly? Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: Here is a picture of the error on download mode that I'm talking about.

Thought about it, but I wasn't sure if doing that would give problems since I'm rooted and using TWRP. I've heard of OTA updates bricking it if you're rooted, but I didn't know if using the Support Tool would do so as well. Will it cause problems to do so? Thanks.
I had no issue updating a rooted and a unrooted phone from 30a and 20g respectively. I'm not sure if anyone has had the issues your concerned about. But in my limited use of it, I'm running both phones fine and loss no data, just straight upgrade with the tool
I have a FRD-L04.
I am trying to get back to stock software, but no matter what I do I get some kind of error.
I have an SD card with the UPDATE.APP file in a dload folder.
When I reboot the phone with the volume up and down it looks like it going to flash, but gives the error at 5%...the error is Software install failed! Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package.
I feel like I have downloaded every single update.zip folder available for the FRD-L04 phone.
I tried using the Firmware Extraction software and getting the System and Recovery image files, but I also get errors trying to use fastboot on those.
I have no other idea what to do to get this phone back to stock!
I can flash custom roms with no issues at all.
If anyone has any ideas that'd be awesome.
Hello I just want to let everyone know I FINALLY got it working.
I put the rollback update file on my SDCard first and let it do its thing.
Then when that was done I used the UPDATE.APP to load the latest OS and it went through with no errors.
Well I lied...everything seemed to go fine, but after it rebooted it now looks like it's stuck on the Honor screen! I have NEVER had so many issues with an Android phone before in my life.

I think you have to go to the stock recovery and do a format data/ factory reset.

You need to use the latest.. I repeat the latest version of Odin and also the stock firmware for your region which has all the parts AP/BL/CP/CSC, flash it and your phone will work again and no you can't reset knox if it has been tripped.
