Welcome to the forum.
Your phone can be unlocked to work with any CDMA network.
I am not familiar with Boost Mobile so I do not know wether it is a CDMA or GSM network. If it is GSM, your VX6900 will not be compatible.
Thanks, thats a great start.
Ok, there is always another question when there is an answer with this isn't there. Thanks, I will investigate the GSM question.
thanks for the quick reply.
Boost mobile is a mostly iden network
if your area has boost mobile cdma available and you have bought and activated a cdma boost mobile phone then it is very possible. sadly i"ve heard boost is trying to phase out cdma and i can not find a plan for a boost mobile cdma phone in my area.
hello everyone,
I currently have an LG Optimus V on Virgin Mobile, and I was wondering if I could get a palm pre working on VMU service?
thank you for your time,
shadowh511
Ive been surfing around for the settings as well. I dont see why it wouldnt work considering they both use sprint towers and what not.
There's three different models of the Pre. I don't know anything about VMU's network, but between the three models I would guess one of them will work
Palm Pre CDMA
Palm Pre GSM EU
Palm Pre GSM NA
Yes the sprint palm pre is compatible with virgin mobile service, but virgin mobile will not allow sprint esn numbers on their network, they will only activate a virgin moble branded phone. However there are ways of getting a sprint phone on thevirgin mobile network, but the way to do it is frowned upon on this forum. The short answer is yes, but your probbly not going to be able to.
I just want to know if I can take my verizon sammy s3 rooted and unlocked over to virgin mobile. CDMA of course.

Not possible. As with all CDMA carriers, this is only possible if they allow the devices ESN into there databases to authenticate on there network. No CDMA carrier (In the US that is) really does that, so good luck to you sir.
NOTE: I know some sprint phones can go to virgin though, but thats because virgin uses sprints network.
I had heard that you infact could do that. However, i do not if it is true. You can call Virgin Mobile and ask them if your phone can be activated.
I wonder with it being unlocked and now with the option to switch to GSM, you could switch to any carrier?
If you do, will you report back here please

I want to buy a verizon or sprint CDMA android smart phone that can work in India. Do they work at all? If so do I need a SIM unlock. I know gsm phones in USA require SIM unlock this is the first time I am dealing with CDMA.
I want to buy a samsung or LG CDMA(Verizon or Sprint) phone in USA and want to use it with TATA Indicom in India. Thanks in advance for the help.
Hello. Does the LG K8 prepaid phone come unlocked? domestically or internationally or both or none? Thanks.
The that device is unlocked but it isn't a world phone and it can only be used in the United States. ^Andria
Hi thanks for that reply. But in saying that if it is unlocked and it is used overseas on a 2g or 3g or 4g band that the phone supports it should work?
It's unlocked for use with another U.S. service provider but it can't be used abroad because it doesn't have world phone capability. ^Andria
What I can't figure out is does she mean its domestically unlocked but internationally locked? ( that wouldn't make sense would it?)
Or is she clueless or trying to bs me in how I said about the frequencies?
Lol.
