Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on Ground Zero Open Source Project (GZOSP) and brings custom features with the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of "Making you feel like 家".
Using the stability and compatibility of GZOSP, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpaper (Dawn by fxckingdeathwish), ringtones, and fonts, to bring to your device into a more fresh look, also with a selection of apps, header packs and wallpapers (on ShishuWalls app).

Q: Bootleggers? Why? What does that even mean?
A: Bootleggers (on a context of toy bootlegs and related stuff) are the people who take an original idea or product and make their own version, obviously on a low-quality way.
Q: What does the chinese/japanese thing means? I don't get it
A: According to google (and take the meaning of this with a hundred quotation marks) it means home or family. We want you to use your phone and feel yourself comfortable, and like it, like you'll be at home.
Q: Can i make Bootleggers stuff like wallpapers, logos and stuff?
A: Of course, feel free to do it, we will love it.

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.
With an almost stable source, this ROM is also packed with some custom wallpapers (avaliable on ShishuWalls), ringtones, fonts, and themes to bring to your device into a more fresh look and give you always a good experience.

It's built by 2 diff devs so there might be some performance, battery or stability difference, and it's not recommended to dirty flash, it might work, but lots of features might be broken

i was tried to run gcam on front camera in this build, but the picture i took is black, in my setup gcam patch already installed, and i also did any work arround i to get that stuff working with changing the kernel, but the problem still there. unlike in the official build (02/23) everything works perfect without any issues (im just change the kernel to make it works)

Found a bug. It is consistent accross all the builds that I've tried.
BUG:
Upon reboot the Music Content Provider database loses a lot of the stored data so only some of the music on my phone are displayed in music apps that rely on the content provider.
FIX:
Fix has always been to go into App Settings and find MediaStorage and clear its storage. Then use a MediaScanner app to rescan the files on my phone.
Note:
Issue only seems to affect the Audio Content Provider. Not the others.

Screen off FOD?

I've been testing this ROM for a couple of days... It's okay, but somewhat of a downgrade compared to PixelInexperience: it's less fluid and has some instability (wifi network in particular seems less stable than PI, lots of random disconnections). Also has less features (for example: no double tap on status bar to turn screen off).
Hope it gets better with time, since PI won't receive further updates from what I understand. At any rate, thanks for your work, as always it's deeply appreciated

which fw version we need?

i was trying to play music with my edifier and if i try to use the aptx (HD Audio) the sound goes to speaker...i can only play music in my earphone if i disable the aptX

other doubt...it will be add the option to use the FOD with screen off?

i used the last stable to my region (global in my case)

I tried it for a week expecting it to be maybe the last Rom I've ever need, but sorry the performance is really bad, first time experiencing lags on my mi9t ever.

Is there any way to make recents focus the last used app? Like MIUI?
It's one of my biggest annoyances with AOSP.

is the rom going to be official and in the pixys website and also i have found a bug when the aod is on the fingerprint sensor does not work in the aod you have to double tap and then use the fingerprint sensor
