Good morning all . I bought this car radio but I have a problem.
Everything worked fine, and then I tried the car Information application, my ODB screen changed to English instead of French in this application the language setting has only 2 options, English or Chinese, impossible to return to French.
do you have any idea on this problem?
Thank you
Are you sure to have 8gb mem?
I thought the max was 6 gb of mem.
What brand/model is your head unit?
Oops sorry I was wrong, it's 6 GB and 128 GB =)
You are right =)

That is very simple. An application has to be translated in that language. Then it can use the system setting. If it is not translated into French it will automatically fall back to one of the translated languages, being English and Chinese in this case.
Thank you for your reply,
But my ODB was in French, I launched the Car Info application, and it took possession of my ODB and changed the Language without asking me, this application is part of the Navifly firmware, I cannot uninstall it, or translate it.
I do not know how to do

Sorry. I did not understand that.
That is indeed strange.
Did you already try to reboot and restart the OBD app before the car info app? Does that work?
I assume that is no real solution, but just to check whether that works.
I will try to explain to you
Sorry for my bad English
My Navifly is in French no problem.
The car information app included in Android 10 to change the language of this screen
I can no longer put it back in French because the software only gives me two English or Chinese options.
I did a data and software configuration reset but nothing changes.

The canbus controller of your unit is bi-directional. It can not only read data, it can also publish data.
Did you also try to change it via the settings of your car?
Thank you for your reply
My car's settings do not have the language option, because I changed the original car radio which could change the language.
But the Navifly by selecting the language in the parameters it put in French but not the small screen of the dashboard.
So I decided to reconnect my old car radio and it loaded me with the language and it was in English and I was able to put it back in French, then once reconnected the Navifly I no longer touched the Car Information application and that stay in French.
What I don't understand is that a small application like car information which has only 2 Languages can take control of my on-board computer by ignoring the Languages settings of the Navifly.
Hi I bought this Navifly 4 gb Ram 64 gb ROM 7862 QLED option. I want to connect 360 camera system to it, but I just noticed as per the ad from Navifly that there is a 360camera chip need to installed from Navifly. Is this true? Any ways to activate the 360 camera system

Navifly has it's own 360 system with cameras that you need to buy. Original car built in 360 systems work through the specific can bus boxes which you buy together with your radio.

Hello,
I also have a Navifly7862 6/128 Gb. It has a SIM card. The device can make calls, works with the phone. But incoming calls do not work. I have spoken to the phone provider. Everything is fine. SIM card in another phone works fine. What could be the problem? The phone application is Google phone.

Only incoming calls don't work, quote from 4pda FAQ:
"Q:How to call and SMS through a SIM card?
A: Incoming calls are only possible on the old android kernel from 2020. Starting from the kernel from 2021, incoming calls are rejected."

Hi there, problem is not an small app, the problem is because in your car's case like in mine ( a Volvo S60) the oem infotainment unit is disabled and it is substituted by the Canbus and a little blue module ( MOST emulator) who takes some of the functions of the OEM radio including all of car settings , and those include Language settings, unfortunately it only has Chinese and English as available languages. Well that was what happened in my car too, I finally trowed that chinese piece of.......it to the garbage can because it was causing all sort of problems with all of the car's systems like interfering with abs system, lane departure settings, climate control was a mess ....and so on ....
Poorly thought out electronics.......
Hello. I have a question: where can I turn on the lights for the function buttons (power, home...) on the left edge of the display? They light up on startup, then go out as soon as the android loads.

They are switched on/off with your headlights: headlights off, buttons off.
You can connect that specific cable for the buttons from the harness to the ACC+ cable so that the buttons are always On when you switch on the contact.
I did that as well as I also want my buttons to be On all the time (I only have Power/Mute, vol+, vol- screen buttons on my unit)

Interesting one, and can't figure out why it's happening - so if anyone has any thoughts x)
Flashed L tonight, all went smoothly and generally everything is fine. The only weird thing is that Google Voice search has stopped working. I press the Voice search button, and it just doesn't pick up any sound. I trying saying "ok google", and it doesn't pick that up either. Also, along with that, Text to Speech refuses to work too, tried with different languages and different voice packs.
Any ideas?
I know I had to go into the Google Now settings and activate the "OK Google" from any screen, to get it to work.
I had the same problem when setting another language as the primary language, then switching back to English, but something seemed bugged.
Removing all the other languages and restoring English (US) only, and finally rebooting, resolved the issue. Hope this helps.

Hmm, just gave that a try, no dice Was it just the Voice language or the whole phone that you had to change?
The weird thing is, it's like it's not even connecting to the microphone, just sits there listening and not hearing anything x)
Yes, that was exactly the same behavior i had with mine. I also ended up trying to configure Ok Google from any screen, and the voice training feature didn't hear anything, remaining stuck on the 1st of 3 verifications.
Maybe you can try going to Settings > App > All > Google Search and deleting cache/data to restore it brand new.

Tried that, and reflashing it, factory reset etc. Turns out the problem is slightly wider than just that not working though - It's killed the Microphone completely, can't make voice calls, it's like it's just not picking up the mix exists for some reason :S
It takes time to activate, there is a backend update of google going on while you select your language, but eventually comes back on.
Try voice typing if your believe the mic is not doing any good for "ok google"

just to try it out to rule out whether it's the telephony app or in effect a bug which affects 5.0 as a whole(which i highly doubt, because i have mine working like a charm) Hell mine even works on off-screen while charging.

Ok, voice search nothing, voice typing nothing, Making Phone calls, nothing x) The only thing I haven't managed to try yet is downloading a 3rd party voice recorder app - but unfortunately I'm on GSM at work and for some reason, Lollipop is refusing to connect to the wifi as well. Good times
Might just flash it back to 4.4.4 and wait for the OTA upgrade to see if that does it better
Just as an additional - managed to download a voice recorder app.... Nothing either. So the whole OS isn't picking up the Microphone. Curiouser and curiouser
Oh hell.... I'm going to hang my head in shame now and hand in any tehcy credentials I may have once had.
I have a Pressy.... I forgot it was plugged in... I didn't install the app. Lollipop saw it as a headset and mic.

How do you get it to have the standard android voice? I think I could cope with that as I like using the co pilot app. I'm using iGo at the moment and although it works properly it's nowhere near as good as copilot.

No worries, glad I could help.
ab1702 i have been having a play with the voice settings and think i may have a better solution, i now have a UK voice in CoPilot that doesn't cut off and that sounds relatively normal and not like a darlek.
If you go to the playstore on your headunit and install the Google TTS package, Then go into your settings in android, go to the device' Settings, and to Language and Input > Text-to-Speech Output, and select the google TTS instead of the pico TTS option then change all the google TTS settings in the same menus u can choose english UK and there is also 2 voice packages with various Male\Female voices i find the bottom one in package one to be the most human, Once you have changed all the settings in android Then open your copilot voice options and it should have changed to the Google TTS voice you have chosen in android and should work fine. Let me know how you get on :good:
I had the same problem with Greek copilot voices. It was cutting off the voice after first 2 words. I've installed TTS and now it has been fixed, but i have problem with the voices volume. I can barely hear them while radio is on and i can't find a way to turn it up. I tried the settings in (android) Navigation menu but even if i change the volume it is still the same. Also i found a setting in languages menu to boost the tts volume but still the same even it is on or off.
Any ideas?

Reduce the radio volume in factory settings?
Hi there,
despite the issue, that my radio in disconnecting USB (incl. Wifi, randomly, especially when it is colder) - which I tried to fix by replacing the USB chip to a GL852G - I now have a new issue since some days:
Now, my radio also disconnects Wi-Fi randomly without turning on again, while USB itself is not interuppted.
That issue is very new to me.
I installed a newer MCU some days ago (3.13 and 3.17) as this fixed an issue with the Bluetooth App automatically opening at the bottom of the screen when making a phone call.
I did not went back to the previous MCU yet (which was a 3.04 I think), as I don't think the issue is related to this. After MCU upgrade, I didn't have the above mentioned issue since more than a week.
Anyone having a similiar or same issue?
Maybe anony can confirm, MCU > 3.x having a wifi issue?
Thanks a lot!
Christian
Hi Christian,
I had the same issue. In the beginning I was able to compensate the issue with an automation app. (If WLAN turns off -> Turn on) After some time I couldn't activate the WLAN at all without restarting the radio. At some point, I could not do that anymore. Then I looked for a working LTE-Stick, but quickly understood that there is NO working 4G-Stick. Only a few UMTS sticks work. Via XDA-Developer found out that there are 4G sticks that are recognized as USB-to-Ethernet devices. Then I bought the HUAWEI E3372 LTE Surfstick. However, this does not work out-of-the-box with the radio. After a lot of manual work and learning-by-doing (installing an unofficial firmware), I managed to make it work now. The only disadvantage is that I no longer have a hotspot for other devices in the car.
Best regards,
Michael

Fellow suffer as well.
Any chance of a link or hint of a guide to modify the E3372 stick?
Modifying E3372 was a tough stuff, actually. A lot of try-and-error. At one point I even thought to have bricked the stick.
Anyway, I got all information from following thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/an.../real-3g-4g-usb-modem-sticks-px5-px4-t3898344
On page 3, a link to a russian site is provided:

I do not speak russian, so I used the DeepL Translator in order to translate everything.
To sum up, you need to install a modified webui und firmware which supports ethernet-over-usb (CDC) mode. The Versions I am using are:
E3272s-153_Update_22.491.09.00.00_M_AT_05.10

Hello
I can't turn on wifi.. and usb hub stop working..*
This problem happened after restart factory*
Please help me
Hi all of you.
I hope you can help me with this problem.
After debrick my unit, a seicane with android 10 - (MTCE_CHS_V3.67.1), Octa-Core Cortex [email protected] ghz, 4Gb Ram, specific for mini countryman R60, the rear view camera stopped working.
When I engage reverse gear, the screen turns black, but nothing is visible. For the rest, gps, bluetooth etc, all ok.
Android 9 is now mounted.
I don't think it's a wiring error because it always worked and the problem occurred after the debrick.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
if your screen turn to black it seems that the fuction of the camera is working... the signal you recieve from the its not something special. Just and old type of analog signal.. try to use an app which can open the video manually without the reverse year. Are you sure camera is working?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I agree perfectly with you. It is a hardware function that does not require any particular configuration. Unfortunately my car is a mini countryman. it is particularly long and complicated to disassemble to access the wiring.
I cannot rule out a wired malfunction but it seems very unlikely to me. the malfunction occurred when the radio was reset after the debrick.

As I am inexperienced with these car radios and would like to avoid disasters, is the MCU common to many radio platforms?
MCU for MTCD, MTCE, MTCP, Intel Sofia3g
Hello everybody.
always concerning my problem I realized that in the factory settings (those protected by the pin) before the brick appeared a voice of the microphone, now it has disappeared. Is it possible to understand why this difference considering that it is a function of the MCU?
Thanks for your collaboration.
Have you installed the older MCU?
Thanks for the reply. Not yet.
I sent a request for assistance to Seicane, the manufacturer of my radio, asking for the firmware for a total reset.
Still no answer, unfortunately.
He waited a little longer and if they don't respond I will install the version you recommended.
I have teh same problem after debrick. Upgrade to Android 10 solved the problem for me, so it's problem with firmware.

Hi guys, I'm urgently looking for support for the Winca S310+ on FYT platform (UIS7862). Maybe someone can help with the following information or has similar problems.
I will work on the S310 issues over time and post updates as appropriate. Perhaps one or the other contribution will prove to be helpful. In this case, please leave me a thank you that motivates me to keep going. Of course you can also help each other.
And by the way: Sharing firmware and MCU is expressly desired.
Are there custom firmware for these devices (custom ROMs)? The OEM settings are kept very short and concise.
Is it possible to get the MCU of these devices as a backup (and also newer versions)?
Are there technical data sheets for the wiring harness? I am looking in vain for an AMP cable for the amplifier. Also, I can't understand why an external Bluetooth antenna is needed and only one 4G antenna can be connected (the sp9853i had 2)
The inserted Vodafone SIM card does not go into operating mode. The reception bars appear, but they are blank. The PIN query of the SIM card does not appear and cannot be deactivated.
There is a loud bang in the speakers each time I start and exit the radio app. I've observed the same thing when streaming via Bluetooth when changing tracks. The bang is so loud that it scares you while driving and it does not depend on the volume set. I made a short video of it where it can be heard very clearly several times. Maybe someone has an idea what could be the cause?

This issue has also been partially "fixed". Unfortunately, there is still no SIM PIN request from blocked SIM cards. The SIM PIN must first be deactivated in another smartphone. Then this also works in the S310 with mobile data.
CAUTION, PLEASE NOTE!
The unlocked SIM (currently no PIN) can be redefined in the S310, but after the next reboot, as mentioned, no PIN query appears and the mobile data etc. do not work! For some reason, this setting cannot be undone in the S310; the SIM PIN must be deactivated in another smartphone for this purpose!
The SIM PIN request is said to work on systems with an active lock screen (screen lock), but I haven't tested that yet. However, on my old system (sp9853i) the PIN request worked even without an active lock screen.
