I am using Samsung A51 4/128 and using 78% ram.... and Phone is lagging too much I wanna install e stable rom for this mobile.... Please Suggest me some Rom with fingerprint supported.
Can I install oxygen os 11 on this? if yes, Please share the links.
Of course it will lag, it will not comfort you, it has 4 GB of RAM, what do you expect?
Galaxy A51 comes in 4, up to 8 GB of RAM, in my country, prices ain't radical, the difference could be as much as 20$.
However, you can use AOSP-based ROMs, like LineageOS 17.1 which is stable enough.
Or you can debloat your current ROM (means remove and free up system space, remove anything you/(your system) don't need).

So i am new to this redmi 2 thread and the device as i was on samsung j5 ...same soc just better camera , screen, and 0.5 gb more ram. Since the development sucked there (we do not have a stable cm 13 ..despite the stock rom updated to 6.0) i decided to exchange my device with my mother's. And i want to go to a nougat based rom from miui 8 global version kitkat. My requirements are..stable rom nougat based rom with volte (jio!!) And customisation and fluidity...recommend a kernel also. So how should i go from miui 8 non rooted with stock recovery to nougat...i just want links for compatible twrp and whether i need to update to lollipop bootloader to run latest rom. And i definitely want your valuable opinions about roms.
Thanks in advance!!

Hello everyone my name is Ali and I am new to XDA. Hope this forum will help me to increase my Android knowledge.
My question is simple. Should I wait Android 8 to root my S7 or should I root my S7 now? Thanks in advance.
Hi. I am also new. In my opinion, rooting now or rooting later will depend on what you want to achieve. I rooted very recently coz I want to gain more control to my phone and I want to try the new roms available here. If you root later, then there is a possibility that the new rom (assuming that you would like to install a custom rom) will have some bugs. So it will take a couple of updates to stabilize it.
It's really your preference but Android P is much different than 7.0/7.1. It has support for multi-screen devices as well as foldable displays. Also it will have hidden control of signal strength show controlled by the carrier. Developers will eventually get in there but if you want to enjoy root I say root now. There's loads of stable stuff for 7.0, even Xposed is operational on 7.0 and 7.1.
I'm using stock S7 rom. (exynos) But i would like to root and put Lineage OS. Because i live pure android. Is Lineage OS 14.1 stable for daily use?

No, it has bugs. Only stock roms are good are good.
Let me rephrase better, is worth to move from the stock samsung Oreo Rom, to a custom Rom like "Havoc" "resurrection Remix" "LineageOS" (the stable version of these)? It's been a long time since I flashed a custom Rom. On my old OnePlus One the roms were faster and better. I find the stock s7 edge rom really good, but at the same time i'm sick of the samsung experience, I want some Stock Android on my phone without losing any performance of course. So, these Roms are actually good? Stable and fast as the stock one?
Guys, I am new to this forum. My Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (7 inch) T231 is running on very old Android KitKat version 4.4.2. This is the last official OS update received. Many apps are not supported on this old android.
Please provide a stable Lineage OS version, ROM file link and whole process to install.
I will be ok with installing Lineage OS version 13 and above (i.e. Marshmallow 6 and above), which ever is most stable.
Thank you in advance.

Since you are new, a few words...
People may understand your request different, like one understands "is there some out there who can help me and how can I help..." and others may understand "give me that ROM, you are there to provide me stuff..." So better be slightly "overpolite".
Developers and development teams just share their work on XDA and improve it based on the feedback the users or other developers give them. We can be happy, that XDA is a big development hub and have to be very respectful. :good:
The Tab 4 is a very old device, in my case I just use it as a small power bank. Display resolution, RAM, system speed... however, developing may be suspended and you cannot expect newer custom ROM releases.
I will explain quickly because Galaxy tab 4 7.0 variants don't get support.
8.0 and 10.1 models have SD400 (msm8226) SoC, 7.0 has a Marvell for the wifi variant and an Exynos for 3G and LTE variants. And it's easier to work on qcom-powered devices
I'm gonna go ahead an do what nobody else here would and answer your question. And it indeed works because I did it just last night. Just follow the link below

Hello, I'm Just curious, If lineageOS will run on such a device with such less memory.
Also gingerbread 2.3 will stop most apps from Installation. Therefor I'm also curious to run 4.4 KitKat or CM on it.
I found some articles on the net on how installing 17.0 or 14.0 in Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus GT-S7500. But I'm uncertain, if those articles are serious.
Can't imagine that current Android versions are abel to run on such small memory, but who knows? I'm relatively new to all this mobile stuff and modding.
Maybe it would be better for me to try PostmarketOS or other linux mobile systems.
I want to use the Galaxy Ace to experiment with custom ROMs, rooting and the like, to use the knowlege later in with my wiko ufeel, which I don't want to brick, but which is sticking with an outdated Marshmallow.
