XDA app won't load any pages while scrolling - General Questions and Answers

Basically the title. I can pick say android apps and scroll through threads but then it just stops and won't load more or let me go to another page. Is this something known or just me? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck

Check out the new XDA app! Let us know what you think [App rolling out now]
The new app is just an upgrade to the current XDA app, so you should be able to just go into Play and hit "Update" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xda.labs.play The app is rolling out now, and will take hours to get to...

If reset, any issue getting paid apps back?

Let's say I have to do a reset and for some reason lost a backup. Can paid apps be downloaded and installed again?
It is my understanding that as long as you re-register your phone under the same account you can always redownload them in the downloaded section of the market

As long as you use the same Google Account yes.
Just go to Market, then Downloads, and all your purchased apps will already be listed there marked "Purchased" and you can re download them.
Great. Thanks.
Hmmmm.....there must be a sticky somewhere with all these basic questions answered. Problem is knowing which forum/thread to find them.
I'd like to spend an hour reading a tutorial or sticky thread for new users to Android. May prevent a lot of other simple questions like this.

New Google Play store lost an important feature

I don't know about anyone else here, but I used to use the feature where under My Apps there used to be a sub section for "Purchased Apps". Now I format my phone and tablet often and I used that feature a lot but it has been removed. Honestly I purchase so many apps I have forgotten what some of them were!!! If you agree and would like this feature returned contact google and tell them. If enough people do im sure they will return the feature. Activity on this thread may help as well because if there is enough supporters I may be able to forward the thread to google and show them we really want this important feature returned. I don't understand why it was removed in the first place. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Slide to the right, 'All Apps', has your purchased apps included.

I understand that but when you have multiple devices on one gmail (phone, tablet, tv for me) that menu list builds up fast. I shouldn't have to scroll until I see a "purchased" and then decide whether or not i want that app, and then keep scrolling til i see another "purchased". It seems like a downgrade to remove the purchased apps category and it was something i used often.

I miss that feature too. But in order to find a workaround, in the bottom of the Page there's a link to "My Orders and Devices" which shows all your orders in a list instead of the usual google play style, so that it's a lot easier to see the purchased apps. I still want to get rid off the free installed apps, but at least I see the purchased ones clearer.
.
Closed, please read the rules and post in proper section

Searching in app store

Is anyone else annoyed when they go to look through apps? Say you open an app page and look at it but want to go back to the recent list of searched apps, but then it goes to the app store home, and you have to type in the same search again to look at the others.
Where can we suggest things to google that they actually wilk see and respond to? If they want to be at the top of their game simple stuff like this should be fixed, its such a simple thing.

Google has groups that allow you to do this.... This link should be able to help you:
hxxp://productforums.google.com/forum/#!forum/en
Not sure if we are allowed to post live links so you need to replace the "xx" with "tt" in the URL.

Did labs close down?

Hey,
I just rooted my tablet and wanted to look at some root apps, I remembered XDA Labs from a while ago, haven't looked at it for like a year... but I can't seem to access labs.xda-developers.com to download the Labs app, I did however find the apk on apkmirror, but I just get and "Network connectivity issue!" error message...
Is Labs down? or am I just being a dum dum?
Old forum lab's is gone. A new forum app has been released...

You are not blind my friend! they indeed removed the xda labs app store
" The main XDA app on the Play store will undergo a major update in the coming weeks to work with the new forum backend. Support for XDA Labs is tentatively ending at the end of this year, but we’re exploring options to keep it going, because we know that a small handful of developers use Labs to distribute their app. We’re hoping to open source and find a team to take the reins and continue development, and if you’re a developer that wants to work on Labs, send a PM to svetius. We’d be delighted if Labs could continue, but as a small technical team and we don’t have the resources to maintain it. Over the coming weeks we will be taking steps to inform any developer that is actively using Labs about this change so they can plan accordingly. "

@ThatLatinGuy
Through the app you linked me, apk files I try to download gets downloaded as bin files for some reason... is that just me?

Try again , if still happens try to wipe the cache of the app , and the cache of google play store and play services. .bin files are usually updates to the app itself or a database update (google services does this a lot)

App Bug Notifications in the App

I'm using the app to post here, but it's constantly giving me an alert that says I need to enable notifications to proceed. The app seems to work even though I have notifications shut off. So why the pop up?

Thanks for the move. I didn't see the app forums. I'll participate in the discussion here as I notice problems.
