So a few months back i unlocked the bootloader of my Redmi 6 but i have jsut now started to have fun with it. I wanted to downgrade it back to oreo 8.1. I downgraded it but after selecting the region the phone just went into a bootloop with an error message stating this.
“Find device has unexpectedly stopped. If anyone has faced the same problem or fixed a bug like this, then pleas help me.
Did you try and reflash the Os if yes pls send the exact version of miui that you have flashed.
if you tried flashing a costum rom pls send name of which one you tried flashing and which twrp you are using.

i had the latest COS12 stock rom (rooted)
few days ago my battery ran out and after charging, the device got into bootloop.
i tried the onplus fix (https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/fix-stuck-at-boot-logo-boot-loop-random-reboot.160199/) which indeed fixed my bootloop and flashed KTU84Q (4.4.4), however, my wifi doesn't turn on now:
https://youtu.be/xchjcNl3pPk
i've tried clean flash again (with lolipop i get bootloop again)
i've also tried flashing color os (kitkat) and also no wifi
so far my problem seems to be:
on lolipop - bootloop
on kitkat - no wifi
any one has any idea?

A few questions:
What method are you using to switch between KK and LP? Fastboot (flashing stock images) or recovery?
If it's recovery, are you flashing the correct firmware/modem?
Are you still able to see your baseband and IMEI in About Phone?
IF you haven't flashed the stock images with fastboot that's the first thing you should try. I have detailed instructions in my guide here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2839471
first, thanks for your reply
second:
at first i did a clean flash from fastboot like this: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/tutorial-flashing-a-factory-image-from-scratch.142870/
i also tried the oneplus one fix for bootloops that also use fastboot from here: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/fix-stuck-at-boot-logo-boot-loop-random-reboot.160199/
later, i tried flashing from recovery, also the colorOS rom
the common for all is LP = bootloop \ KK = no wifi
when i'm on KK the phone works got, getting calls in and out
when i've flashed from recovery i've flashed only one zip file. didn't flash firmware nor modem

can i flash oxyOS (to check if it solve the problem) and after that flash your COS12 img with the fastboot commands or is there anything else i should know about?
flashed the latest COS12 version with your guide and i still have bootloops
Having this exact problem.... No wifi in CM11 and when updating tot CM12 getting boot looped.
Found a solution to your problem?
It's because of the modem files.. When u downgrade or upgrade from/to lollipop/kitkat u must flash the appropriate files!! Pm me if u want more info

yes, i've open a ticket with oneplus one and their tech guy installed oxygenOS and it works well
hi all, i am new here. so, please pardon me if i do any mistake.
here is problem,
as i am interested in technical things, my friend asked me to update his HTC one m8 into lollipop. at that time the mobile had custom rom with twrp version 7.0.2
android version: 4.4.2, sense version: 6.0, software number: Android Revolution HD 5.0 by mikel 1986, API level: 6.17
so i looked for resources and found a link. i could not add the link.
so i followed the steps and flashed the boot via fastboot with boot.img of new custom rom. the upon restart the mobile got stuck into bootloop. I could not go into recovery according to hardware button combination described there. Later once i found right combination i managed to go to recovery mode of twrp. then, i tried the remaining steps that is installing custom rom and gapps from zip file being in the recovery. Every command i gave got executed but still i could not get into system. even thought i had flashed the boot.img as an early step while starting the hboot it shows there are no images to load. So, i tried to restore from twrp recovery and i failed again. I tried to update the twrp image to run the image file of the custom rom from the twrp. but the update failed. so, i gave it to a repair shop and the repair man managed to get it working. he installed stock 5.0.1 version and in bootloader option it says software as official and relocked which showed tampered and unlocked before. BUt the problem is there are few settings that are grayed out. cant be changed. like brightness, developers option, wifi. I thought of updating os from within the set but wifi did not work.
SO, now how i can install a proper stock rom in that mobile? please help
ya you can install stock rom on your mobile..you can find your stock rom from XDA developers only......

no no you dont understand.
what was your firmware when you are on custom rom???
you have to flash that exact firmware containing fastboot images .
May be you are trying to install stock firmware which is lower version than installed firmware.
Hey dude, I get your problem. I'm facing the same problem myself! Unless you get the "Fastboot images" of miui 12, which will take another 1 month to come, you have to be on custom rom only. You cannot go back to stock rom.
That's why I flashed Bootleggers today. EvoX has bugs, but bootleggers feels smooth. If you really want a dependable rom, I'd suggest, EU MIUI, which you can flash directly over TWRP or else Bootleggers.
Until then, let's wait for the month end to get the fastboot images

Unzip stock rom and edit updater-script. Replace this word phoenixin to phoenix , then repack all files and flash.
Hello people i thought i should discuss this thing as it is Important (atleast I think it is)-
I was using miui 11.0.3.0 with orange fox recovery installed (R 10.3 stable). Then i thought to flash Miui 11.0.1.0 Russian whyred Rom (it was arb 4 ROM so no problem in Arb brick). I flashed it via custom recovery and all went good. Now I again went to recovery to flash havoc os (as I was just testing to see if there is any difference in Russian rom)
When i choose havoc recovery package it threw me several errors like error 7, corrupt file. I thought the file was corrupt, so I flashed pixel experience though it gave me same error. Then i thought something is wrong. I put the phone in fastboot mode and started flashing, it gave me hello packet error (means phone was in edl mode and bricked).
I had to open the back panel and use shorting method to revive my phone.
So please don't flash russain rom on global/indian variant.
Thanks

Lol what I told you in PM?? Never ever never flash MIUI ROM IN RECOVERY!!!
Well you learned in hard way
I'm glad that you revived your phone. Do you still have bootloader unlock?? Check it, if not unlock it again! It's easier to revive. Please don't do this again . Always use MI flash tool for flashing MIUI ROMs.
Good luck!

Yes Buddy I learned It the hard way
But now i know how to revive Thru EDL
Hello guys, I installed Pixel experience custom on my poco x3 a few weeks ago. After few days, I tried to update the PE custom from but it showed failed "error 1" so, I skipped and forget about the update and kept using the phone.
Yesterday, I decided to go back one MIUI. I downloaded MIUI for my POCO X3 EEA version. I couldn't install it too, as it always showed "error 1". and starting yesterday, the phone bootlooped in fastboot.
Today, I tried to install the Official Miui Rom using MiFlashtool but always the same issue. First I tried installing the global official rom, it didn't work, then, installing EEA version but same thing.
Someone here can help me on that matter please, I never get an idea in how to fix that issue.
Thank you so much in advance for your help
what do you mean by "it didn't work" when installing official MIUI ROM using MiFlashTool? what error do you get etc and maybe you can provide some screenshots
installing official MIUI Fastboot ROM should fix your issue but maybe you did not do the right procedure

yes this is so strange, cuz miflash always a better way to fix bootloop phone , i think he may upgrade PE ROM with a dirty flash that cauzed bootloop, even its bad their twrp is removed < real problem
flash via miui with UBL UNLOCK!!!
